i think a lot about how star wars has been, since its inception, a mainstream pop culture phenomenon while simultaneously nurturing very weird and niche nerd communities. which is fun because especially with the resurgence of star wars these days it's common to find star wars fans but less common to find star wars fans with your personal brand of niche fixation. what i'm trying to say here is the fact that i havent seen sith/dark side luke skywalker fanart ft. him in his stupid dark empire outfit is a disservice to the sw community as a whole.
