earlier this year, when i watched tick tick boom, i wondered if taylor has seen it/listened to it and what her thoughts would be on it (nothing new hit me as so 30/90 last november...how can a person know everything at 18, but nothing at 22/you still feel like you're 22...people love an ingénue/you're no longer the ingénue...). ttb has been in my brain since 2005, but today, i realized, my favorite part, that's indelible to me - "cages or wings, which do you prefer? ask the birds. fear or love, baby, don't say the answer - actions speak louder than words" is just midnights. that's the entire thesis of midnights. so i'd love to know even more if it resonated with her. these are the topics i'd most like to ask her about. inspiration, influences, shared sparks. the art of making art.
