I want the Mole Troupe to get a continuation that features Sandalphon and supposed theater actor Lucio. Sandalphon probably visits Michael to check on her, out of curiosity and Lucio invites himself. It gives us opportunity for Sandy to begrudgingly accept Lucio's company, for him to have a talk with Sariel, maybe, and I absolutely want Falsch and Lucio to meet. I think Falsch would fall in love with Lucio at first sight, but be super aggro about it and get mad at every little thing about him.
PLEAASE.
I want more Mole Troupe in general (though the more it focus on the main four of them the happier i'd be, though if Barawa wants to come back and encourage them on the path of ham theater and make me cry even more i'm *twirls hair* all up for it again, he was there for me and just for me)
That said to have Sandalphon check on Michael, Sariel and Azrael would be very nice, and finally bringing back the fact Lucio has indeed a supposed theater background lmao.
There they could discuss with Sariel a bit of his situation yeah, if they really want to make /me/ happy Lucio and Sariel would get into an improv and manage to communicate with one another thanks to acting which would have Lucio finally be more accepting of Sariel's plea. Then, all of them would start to get really into the improv bit and try to drag Sandalphon into it who's really just ".... i'm not going to do that." but Michael ends up insisting and Sandalphon ends up participating out of pure peer pressure.
And i think Falsch would find Lucio so damn cool at first sight yeah, but tbh i feel like he would grow to dislike him over the fact that Lucio is so damn perfect. I mean, Lucio was an actual, acclaimed actor on stage. Falsch was a genius child actor but he hated what the spotlight did to his fellow friends, and he much prefers his silly, ham actors now, that any goody who could rival him as an actor. I actually would see Falsch constantly compare Lucio's acting skill to the rest of the Mole Troupe's, except it's always to point out how Lucio isn't as great as his Troupe. Despite the fact Lucio is, in fact, technically better.
the emotional core could also be that Falsch would actually see right through Lucio that despite him being a perfect actor in every single way, he puts no emotion into his acting, none of it is genuine, he can see that Lucio doesn't think a single of the words he's spouting. Michael, Sariel, Azrael, they may suck, but they are passionate, they have fun, and they've been trying to put their emotions and the way they relate to others in their acting. Lucio strikes me as really an actor in the sense of he is always playing a role to mask himself, never to be honest. The Mole Troupe is the opposite, they're acting to show themselves out, to find parts of themselves they don't know how to express otherwise. And i think Falsch would be super critical of Lucio being like that, which would eventually force Lucio to face the way he's still acting with the crew as well as he hides his true identity.
I actually believe in Falsch's insufferable ex-child actor prodigies supremacy to just dunk on Lucio is what i mean. Also i would find it so funny if the only human of the gang, who was shocked discovering all of his friends were angels, ended up being the only one to see right through Lucio with the powers of "your acting may be perfect in quality but you don't put any heart into it and i have no respect for you."
... I really want more Mole Troupe i'd take anything to see more of them.

So I've been watching you go apeshit over wmtsb and i dont play granblue but im curious and i enjoy your enthusiasm. if you fancy talking about it, what happened and what did you like about it?
what makes the sky blue was an event held for the third granblue anniversary and instantly became a smash hit with the players because it featured a much heavier story than ever before and basically marked the shift of granblue to being A Game With Lore. the villain of that event was sandalphon, an angel created to be lucifer (the head angel)’s backup in case something happened to him but deemed useless because of lucifer’s perfection. distraught with the knowledge that he’s nothing but a useless spare he instigated a rebellion and got locked up in super hell jail, but two thousand years later the protagonists’ chance meeting caused a shift in the world that allowed him to wiggle his way out. once escaped he attacked the angels that presided over the four elements and stole their powers in order to make the floating islands of the world crash to the bottom of the sky, all in hopes of forcing lucifer to acknowledge his existence by becoming a threat too big to ignore. he was bitter and vicious and really desperate and essentially set a new standard for granblue villains at the time
the fanbase fucking loved him. so much in fact that they demanded he become playable, and cygames was kind of left with no idea what to do because they didn’t intend for him to be anything but a villain. the fourth anniversary they released a part two of the what makes the sky blue saga and it was… not great. it was notably shorter than part 1 and basically didn’t resolve anything. lucifer (also a wildly popular character) was killed off, sandalphon’s past crimes were mostly glossed over with a bigger bad you had to team up against and his character felt like it got reduced to “likes coffee and is sad about lucifer”, and the new characters that got introduced were all 1.5 note at best. it’s the middle part so I feel it’ll hold up better if you play the whole set back to back because it is the fate of the middle installment to set up the later events without being able to resolve much but at the time, to be left at this middle point for a whole year was deeply unsatisfying. people who liked sandalphon were given a defanged flanderised version and people who didn’t like him weren’t given any reason to change that opinion. on top of that, all the other events that year had been rather lackluster too or even just blatant meaningless filler fanservice, so that didn’t leave us with very high hopes for the grand finale on the fifth anniversary
FORTUNATELY!! the finale FUCKS!!!! i think its the longest event story in the game now. belial went from having only horny and evil as his personalty traits to being the most complex villain in the game, we got to bully sandalphon for throwing us off a fucking cliff in part 1 and they PARALLELED that multiple times, they went over how sandal’s ‘redemption’ in part 2 was only a temporary fix and finally got him to decide his own wishes rather than be dragged along by his (lack of) purpose, every damn character mirrored each other in some way and they all draw from the overlying theme of personality vs purpose so everything actually feels like it fits together, they put the story arc to a satisfying close while leaving enough loose ends to create more content with in the future, one of the biggest mysteries in the game got resolved, they confirmed TWO!!! m/m couples, we got not one but TWO fucking BANGERS as raid themes. cygames said this year they’re breaking away from previous traditions so this event was essentially going to set the standard for all granblue writing the coming year and after the mediocrity of the year before we were all pretty nervous about it but they fucking delivered. the future is looking as bright as sandalphons smile. he worked for that happiness
