Realizing the one random downside to top surgery - chest numbness means Vicks vapor rub is no longer as effective in helping my bronchitis nor canceling out middle of the night anxiety fits oh no

#i have an incredible amount of feeling compared to some of my friends and others ive spoken to but deeo tissue is still mostly numb #so instead of the deep cold relief that ahocks my system out of panic and allows me to brief again #which was life saving when id wake up mid panic attack or during bronchitis flares #i get mild tingling chills and vague relief #this is.... not ideal #also turns out i 100% have a deviated septum?? which was apparently obvious? #i mentioned that the nose strips help me sleep better and breathe easier to my BF and he just shrugs like #well yeah obvs with the crooked airways it probably opens everything up and straightens it out a bit for you #like we're talking about the weather and its fuckin obvious #not a single doctor has looked at my face and noticed it not one NOT ONE #and we wonder why im so frustrated
