out of curiosity; in replies/tags, tell me what location in pokemon games is one that you "hang out" in, by which I mean visit and spend time in for reasons completely unrelated to gameplay or story. Just a spot where you go to enjoy the music, or admire a certain town design, or nostalgic memories, anything like that.

“Such a shame...” came a lamentation from the staircase that spiraled up Celestial Tower.
Aiden jumped, the unexpected voice snapping him from his rumination over his recently deceased Fearow. He turned to see a man, a frequent client of his, emerge from the doorway. Aiden said nothing as he choked back his tears and turned his attention back to Talon’s headstone.
“Apologies... I didn’t mean to disturb you, but I did happen to witness your tragic battle against those fiends. I came to pay my respects. It’s a tragedy that pokemon should pay the price for the whims of careless humans, isn’t it?”
Aiden’s fists clenched. They came out of nowhere... Three white-haired assailants. He had them outclassed in battle, but their lethality surpassed his. When the opposing Bisharp sliced the throat of his Fearow, it was over...
“I’ll kill them...” Aiden growled.
His visitor hummed. “Revenge is rarely a viable solution to problems like this. It would do nothing to stop what’s already happened and would only put your remaining pokemon at risk.” He looked to the pokeballs on Aiden’s belt. Five left... “You have quite a formidable team. It’s to be expected that with power comes those who wish to take it for themselves. Perhaps that’s the trade-off for years of hard work and dedication. Hmph! Unfortunate indeed that this foolish ‘devotion’ that people share with pokemon only serves to put them in harms way! They would be far better off without our selfish desire to use them to satisfy our own pride, wouldn’t you agree?”
Aiden frowned. He didn’t know if he agreed or not.
“I’m sorry. That was inappropriate of me. This is no place to pontificate about societal issues. It can be hard to divorce myself from the things I’m passionate about. In any case, I’m sorry this happened. I know it must be painful. If you’d like to talk, I can at least listen.”
Aiden swallowed. The tears welling up again. “...Is... Is it my fault?”
He was silent a moment, as if pondering whether to deliver a hard truth. “This... was the result of using pokemon as weapons, yes...” Tears of guilt escaped Aiden’s eyes and his confidant sighed. “What happened can’t be changed. But if this is the sort of attention you’re going to attract, it might be best to think about whether the best place for your pokemon is at your side...”
Aiden bit his lip and nodded. Maybe he was right... Maybe Aiden did his pokemon more harm than good...
“That said, how you use your pokemon, if at all, is your choice to make. I hope whatever you choose brings peace to you all. I’ll leave you to grieve.”
Ghetsis grinned to himself as he descended the staircase, knowing the effectiveness of the seed of guilt which he had sewn. He didn’t care what Aiden did with his team so long as they weren’t at his side. He didn’t need the risk of a strong trainer, especially one with access to so much information, meddling in his affairs. He was confident that Aiden would abandon the rest of his pokemon in one way or another, and if he didn’t? Well, he could always visit them here at Celestial Tower.
