Respect PartyCoffin's Wishes and Privacy!!!!
If you have seen @partycoffin's latest post, then....right now, I really feel for them. I just saw their post now.
There's so much I want to say, but I feel that even words of positive reinforcement aren't going to help them through this.
But I can say something to the people, the fandom, who are part of this, who have helped make Welcome Home what it is now.
Please respect their boundaries and their rules of engagement with Welcome Home. Period. To go even further:
If you see a fake social media account posing as them, report it on the website you found it.
If you see someone selling merchandise, report their account too. No matter how much you want their merchandise, it doesn't help @partycoffin or the fandom to do this.
Give them the time and respect they deserve. They are a person; they have their own boundaries, and if you have any ounce of care in you, you should respect their wishes.
Even if it means that they have to take Welcome Home off the Internet entirely and let this rising fanbase die, then that is what I will respect because I do not want them getting hurt in the process.
Tiktok, I feel, is the worst factor in all this, not because of the people creating beautiful or meme-like work but because of how the platform's algorithm works in sharing content that you've viewed, connecting it to what your friends viewed, and I've also noticed A03 being a terrible influence on NSFW content too, and it honestly breaks my heart to see it.
Yes, this is the internet, the wild west of memes, rule 34, and an incredible lack of privacy. You can inevitably expose yourself to many dangers and unwanted attention by sharing something you love with the world. They cannot control everything they see, but you can control what you see and change things!
Most importantly, we participate in a parasocial relationship when interacting with @partycoffin, meaning that no matter how much we love and care about them, we will never honestly know what they're dealing with daily or who they are as a person! Parasocial relationships have boundaries, and that means giving them the space to recoup, be offline, and not interact with their communities.
Welcome Home has given me joy and love for many personal reasons, even though I don't know the characters yet! But if it dies due to a lack of boundaries and respect for its creator, then so be it. I will treasure my time with their story as it sits and, like time itself, move forward, remembering this story as a beautiful possibility of hope and love rather than one of hate.

Welcome Home Doesn't Feel Very Welcoming Anymore
To me, it feels voliate and chaotic and especially toxic, and that saddens me so much. But it's also something I expect too as WH becomes more and more popular by the day.
So, why do I? Here's a few reasons I can think of off the top of my head:
Any decision Clown makes regarding their community is often met with either an invalidating concern for their wellbeing to the point of being extremely disrespectful to them as a person or is met with complete disregard alltogether. Not everyone does this, but it's a conversation that's been circling for a bit now.
People within the community are creating opposing sides regarding how they want to engage with WH, resulting in conflicts with one another to the point of name-calling, hate-speech, and even death threats (or so I've heard).
If this community is going to be a place of acceptance and understanding, then that means respecting the boundaries and wishes of each and every person in it without shaming them for who they are. And that includes the sexual stuff. #Playfellowxxx was made for a reason. It was made to keep adult content and minor content seperate. It's the best solution for a community so large and expansive. Trying to coerce an entire internet of fans to be SFW for the sake those uncomfortable with it is asking for the impossible!
My solution? Cater your experience to what WH feels like to you. Do not try to control what other people do, because you can't - that takes away from other people's experiences too, and I don't think this is what anyone wants. Everyone expresses their love for these characters differently (sexually, romantically, platonic, etc), and I don't think there's one unifying vision that we can all reach that would change that. Making room for both SFW and NSFW content is the right move, because it includes everyone. Personally, I support both SFW and NSFW sides of things! Any expression of love, desire, or adoration for characters should be cherished as long as it's done in a healthy way, but I digress.
As for those who believe that Clown was coerced to make the tag? You cannot infer anymore from Clown until they decide to comment on it (if they ever decide to comment on it). Guessing the reasons behind their choices is pointless and futile... and again, leads back into that source of disrespect for them. So, stop playing guessing games with Clown's words and trust them. They know what they're doing, they've generated so much success these past few months, and I'm proud of them for how far they've come as a creator.
Besides, from what I've interpreted, they saw all of this as hilarious, so... laugh! Have fun with it! Enjoy the silliness that is this fandom and stop taking everything so seriously! Go back to loving the characters you love and make the most of it! <3

The Welcome Home Website!!!!! She is Beautiful~! And She Leaves Us With So Many Questions!
First off, I am absolutely astonished at how beautiful she is!!! Clown, Puzz, and everyone else has worked so hard and they've exceeded everyone's expectations with the site!!! What a wonderful little Home they've made, and I'm excited to experience it as a fan!!!
I know that everyone's combing through the new website update with a fine toothed comb so I won't be sharing anything we've already found. I don't think I've found anything new in the site that others haven't already found, but oh boy!!!! Does everything there only raise more questions!
What I do love is how all the audio files we've been given through the "bugs" has really shown what everyone's personality is like! I love every one of them, and the voice actors captured them perfectly! Oh and the little tidbits of history with the merchandise, the telephone calls, the little skits! Be still my beating heart~!!!
AND THE WALLY LIVE INTERVIEW. I CANT! It's sooo darn cute!! And Nick Nocturne (I know it's him, that interdimentional cat demon) as the interviewer was such a lovely touch! I cannot wait to hear about that from his YT channel!!! And Wally was so coy with the romance question~ and I think that's the perfect way to answer it for everyone who loves him! Keep it vague, let everyone make their own conclusions and be happy! (I know I certainly will for the time being, and will love him no matter what!) I am so curious about the underlying story here: there's so much to think about it's driving me crazy! They gave so much and answered so little! We can only theorize from here! So here's my little thoughts! None of it's cohesive in any way, nor does it really have all the details or tell full story yet, so just take it in sections if you decide to read it! ______
!~OBSERVATION TIME~!
I think that Wally, Home (And maybe everyone else, not sure) are trapped somewhere. Where exactly isn't certain, but very trapped indeed. My first indication of this from this response in the guestbook for Tayla (Page 8):
Tumblr media
"eu não sei onde estamos" - I don't know where we are (A bonus for the multi-lingual side of things there, it makes me really happy to see it!)
I have no concept of what happened to everyone else, but from the little drawings he's made on the guestbook, he's constantly telling people things like "Oh, I'll tell Eddie." or "I'll tell Frank." these messages, but we never get a direct response from any other neighbor! It's always him talking! Just him. He tells people their responses, but we never hear anything direct from the other neighbors! The quick reference I can bring up is the hearts PNG in the guestbook for Kazoo:
Tumblr media
itoldhim_hesaidhesflattered_idontknowwhatanyoneistalkingabout_.png I feel like those collections of audio clips with all the neighbors (1-14 to 14-14) are a recount of events throughout an entire day that previously happened that may give insight into what happened to Wally. I think this is the case based on the last audio in the list, 14-14 bh audio, when Barnaby notices Wally acting strange:
BARNABY: Yeah, yeah, real funny! A poor little guy like me deserves some sympathy! A clown without a kazoo is like… Like an artist without his paintbrush! Go on kid, tell ‘em! …Hello? Buddy? Pal? …Hey, you stopped paintin’. Everything alright, Wally?
Well, something happened there. Maybe a change in his psyche, how he perceives things - some strange realization that terrified him. Maybe he got angry at something. What it was? I have no clue.
Another addition that I think is interesting! Frank wrote to Wally describing the unusual bug he found. In the beginning of that letter, Frank says this:
Tumblr media
"I know you would ask if you are here." Where is he?
The nature of how Wally and everyone communicates is so vague and weird! I think the telephones, the mail, the TVs - all these things are means of communicating, but there's no direct connection to us! Any time a phone call is made, they can't hear us. This I have inferred from the "It's for you!" Talking telephone toy! They can talk to us and we can hear them, but they can't hear us! What's causing this disturbance? That's the real bug here, and I'm clueless on what that means or how to break through the surface!
Most importantly! I think that Wally specifically trying to communicate with that one person on the WHRP team. That person... is experiencing a lot of heavy sh*t, because I think they remember Wally and the show. They're the closest person right now that's able to help him (either willingly or not!)
I also believe he's specifically working with that WHRP member because in the phone audio (the one you click on when interacting with the toy telephone on the merchandise page), he says:
"You have to go too. You have work to do."
From what I can interpret from the live interview, I think that it implies some semblance of back story! Wally did interact with people and the outside world during his prime in the 70s, when the show was really starting to pick up speed. He was calmer, more in tune with his character and fame. He was in character most of all, and I think being in character was a sense of identity for him that he could rely on!
But those secret audio files we hear from him now? He sounds desperate, like he can't breathe. He's practically breaking from his usual character. What did he realize? What does he know? All of those things boil down to this sentence:
"I will help you understand. I will find a way soon, Neighbor."
Wally (and Home?) are working away at a solution wherever they can I think that WHRP member is the key to that! (Although the methods of how they're doing it, i.e the black paint that apparently you shouldn't touch with bare hands, the mind-boggling phone ringing in that person's ears, the complete distortion of reality - definetely implies a few things.)
I also think that the highlighted in invisible ink is Wally's words throughout the email compilations and other documents! The one where he says "Im so sorry." - I feel like that's him showing some remorse for his actions there, but it's like a sorry that says "I'm sorry, I have to do this." kind of deal (which is... oof)
Tumblr media
Also - quick note! Wally keep insisting on being let in, rather than being let out. "Let me in." - Let you in to where? Our world? Reality? Oh so many questions!!!
I also am curious about the WHRP staff too, and their interactions with the Question-Answerer, the Marlo company, the Playfellow Workshop! There's two sides to this story; the human side and the puppet one, and it's so multilayered here that at this point, I'm inclined to distrust what anyone on that website says until we know what's going on!
Lastly, I'm not certain how much we as viewers of this story are involved. While I believe that he's working to get that WHRP member to let him in, he does acknowledge us through the guestbook. Although, I don't think truly aware of how much we see him. i.e "idontknowwhatanyoneistalkingabout" line from the heart PNG.
While I want to believe that Wally can see us through our art, specifically when we draw or recreate his eyes, for engagement's sake (audio from this link), I also am inclined to believe he's refering to the eyes that the WHRP team member keeps drawing on those sticky notes and other places throughout the restoration site:
Tumblr media
And and and!!! I think that there's got to be something upcoming with this link: https://www.clownillustration.com/error404
You find this link on the staff-only page at the bottom with the text "It's in here." And I think that with any future updates, the next section of the story will be coming from here.
AHH~! I rambled on too long! Hope you enjoyed it!

So, What Do We Do Now Guys?
I'll admit, I'm a bit lost at the moment. I'm seeing people decide what they want to do that they feel is best for the fandom and its creator, and I am inclined to agree with all sides here. Some are deciding to put the topic down and not post for a while until things cool off. Some are deciding to continue with their creations to help move forward past this and create a sense of normalcy back into the fandom. Others are angry and are validly expressing their anger about the situation. Some people are still discovering it all as we speak!
As I said in my previous post, it is also personal to me. Welcome Home has become a starting point for my ability to engage with a fandom, something I have personally denied myself for years on this platform out of the awareness and understanding of how fandoms (and the internet as a whole!) work. Yes, I missed out on the Onceler fandom, the Undertale fandom, the Supernatural fandom, the FNAF fandom, all of it. I know and speak of the old ways! Mwahaha!
In all seriousness though, I don't often engage with fandoms because, in my mind, I develop deep relationships with the concepts and ideas of my chosen media, and sharing my love for something with the world is terrifying. This fandom I have chosen to engage with has become one of the most intense and complex fanbases I've seen thus far, so I cannot even imagine what @partycoffin is going through.
But guys... Home is on Fire. And the fire is spreading. It's passion, its love, it's intimacy, it's anger, it's betrayal, it's every emotion you can ever imagine in a rainbow-fueled escapade, and it's burning fast.
I do not want to see this beautiful creation die, and as long as Clown wishes to keep going, I want to work to make things better, under their wishes and guidance.
Because to me, Welcome Home represents a chance to create something inclusive and beautiful for both new and old generations of internet users. I see it as the first concept to genuinely depict authentic LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent characters in an animated, horror-themed space, allowing people to find safe spaces with these characters to express their identities and creativity with the world. What I hope for from this fandom is that we can help create safe spaces for @partycoffin and everyone who wants to protect and enjoy their work. Give them and us a Home that is filled with a positive, loving community that supports one another. Give them the anonymity and safety they need to feel at home within themselves to do as they see fit. Most of all, it's important to remember that Welcome Home means something to them, to its creator, and the power to move and change this fandom is in their puppet-shaped hands.
Everything in my previous post still stands, and there is no one right answer to this. That will come in time. But my suggestion right now? Choose what you think is best for yourself because that is what you can control.
And for me? I want to create and love people's art expressing my relationship with it because fandoms, to me, are about finding meaning in people's work that helps shape and influence who you are. My small, unpolished art is my expression of wanting home when I never felt like I had one, to find a place to belong and feel safe to express my neurodivergent, queer self, and to not feel alone. While I may not post much from here on after, I want to continue moving forward and see this through.
(I will gladly take this post down if any of this is out of line. I just wish to help people in any way I can. ^_^)

I've been contemplating for the longest time putting more of my little headcanons out there before Clown updates their website, but its so close now so I'm just gonna throw them all out there for fun! Wally; As enigmatic as he is, the best description that I can give to what I believe he's like is this quote:
"I can do no wrong, for I do not know what it is."
He's this charming blank slate of a puppet, more so than the other characters, and I think that's what's most engaging about him. He knows so little! Like, the way that the characters would act around him, helping him be picked up when he's left laying on the ground, or the way that Barnaby tries to teach him about making jokes or the way Julie teaches him how to respond to getting hurt. Like, basic functions of what's considered normal are completely brand new concepts again, because those are things we learn as children growing up. It's a very autistic experience.
He appears to me as someone who's still developing their conscience and understanding of the world around him. All the puppets are really, all of them taking place in a strange and unsettling world where they are suppose to teach children (who they do not know or see) these valuable life lessons, yet maybe don't know why they're teaching them in the first place? Like, what's the inherent value of learning these lessons anyway? Why are we learning or saying these things? What makes words like "please" or "thank you" matter? Why do we value the things we value at all? It's confusing and absurd.
And I think that's the scary part of all this. Puppets are uncanny creatures, acting as conduits to express our experiences and emotions as people. But what about their experiences? They sit in a morally grey area of existence in the consciousness of our lives, controlled by people to communicate human experiences, but lack agency over their own existence. It's a heavily codependent relationship filled with terrifying implications and allegories, and if this story explores that, it'll be fascinating to experience.
(PS - The quote is from the film The Adventures of Mark Twain (1985) by the iconic Satan himself. It felt too good not to use it!)

My OC!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media
I worked very hard on making this young little lady! I hope you all like her! ^-^ Credit for the template goes to @fetusmeme, and obviously, Welcome Home belongs to @partycoffin!
Playing with the color palette used was so much fun! It really gives me a good appreciation for how even bright, primary/secondary colors can convey so much child-like wonder (and even horror in the right contexts). It might be a keeper for any other work I do in the future!!

I finally finished his outfit! And look who's here! Home!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It took a while for me to finish them (and even then I'm not completely satisfied!) However, I am happy with this little project I've done for myself. Wally and Home have each other, and they seem pretty happy and cozy in my home!
The excitement and thrill of Welcome Home has gone from a rapid boil to a slow simmer for me, and I'm okay with that. I'm a bit sad that I'm not as excited and obsessed as I was a few months ago, but I'm am grateful for being part of the experience. I got to see Welcome Home rise in popularity and see it become loved by so many! What a beautiful thing that is~! And so well-deserved too!
Right now, I consider this blog to be on semi-hiatus for the time being. I have many other projects and life things to care for in the meantime. (Like, for instance, game development! I'll be doing pixel art for a few games!) But I may still do the occasional reblog at some points and check in on random Clown posts when they come! *honk honk*
But I will say this: Welcome Home has been a wonderful experience so far. It's only just started, but it's helped me connect with new people, build self-confidence with my art, and even affirmed my identity as an autistic person! Clown and co have done beautifully, and I look forward to seeing what comes next!
Thank you for reading! ~Skye

Okay I apparently missed something big and don't know a lot of what's going on??? Something happened within the fandom that upset partycoffin is all I know, but they deleted the original post they made, and their follow-up posts only point back to the rules being the same as within their pinned posts(s)? (I.e. don't sell merch; don't post nsfw fan art in public, unprotected places)
And like I don't want to pry, but things are on fire right now and I'm trying to figure out what happened, what's okay, and what's not.
Yo absolutely! I'll try my best! (I may get some things wrong, so bear with me here.) From what I've gathered, they're experiencing an immense amount of pressure to keep up with the love people have for Welcome Home, and the post people are referring to is now a private/deleted post that... basically detailed an emotional outpour of their frustrations and fears. In short, these broad problems were mentioned: creating fake social media accounts using their name, selling unofficial merchandise on websites such as Etsy, and creating NSFW content on websites such as A03 (Archive of Our Own). Basically, parts of the fandom not really respecting their wishes and making life really, really hard for them. Clown went from someone small to massively popular across the internet within the span of a few weeks. Right now, I feel like many people are trying to figure things out the same way you are in what to do and what not to do.
I'm in the same boat, sadly! I don't really know much beyond what I've seen! I'm just choosing to try and stay optimistic about all this!.
Hope that helped! :) Thank you, anon!

Yo, Puppets, what are you doing out there???
Since my rabid obsession with these wonderful little puppets over the last few months has bloomed into an almost unhealthy coping mechanism, I have some headcanons or philosophical mumbo-jumbo that won't Leave My Head and wanted to share!
First? Puppets, man. Puppets share an interesting dialogue with us - like, they're their own entities, but they are also absent of any sense of individual seperation from the roles they take on and their relationship with humans. When we interact with puppets, they're playing their roles as the lovely short friend that teaching you ABC's, or the comedic klutz narrator playing the role of a children's Christmas story. Puppets can be anything and do anything, and I feel like with all these massive and lovely AU's coming out of the blue, the WH puppets are kind of in their element here - fulfilling the roles and impressions that we place on them to tell stories, create characters, and help us connect with the emotions and thoughts we want to explore within ourselves.
Now, if we were to suspect that the WH puppets have some semblance of agency, then...that's where the real horror begins. Because it's implied that they're aware of their circumstances in some shape or form, and they can't stop it. And we could do anything to them and they would comply with that because...they're a puppet. The fulfil the roles we create for them. But who are they, really? And then theirs the Hand symbolism in some of their artwork shown on their Ko-Fi, and that's SUPER interesting. Every time I think about this, I think about the D&D race Muppetborn, where the Hand is the creator that guides them. You know, just a side thought.
So...from what I can see? Our relationship with puppets cannot be seperated in some way, and I wonder if there's some sort of antagonism with the WH puppet's relationship with both its creator or its audience. Who knows? It's so damn META and scary that I think it'll lead to some really engaging conversations overall.
____
But beyond that, I am super happy that Clown is starting to feel better, that their life's getting back on track, and that they seem to be in a good place. I wish them all the Love and Joy in the world, and I am super estatic for what comes next!!!!
