Wow I just realized I never ACTUALLY posted those headcanons about my OTHER Desc OC Malekai (adopted son of Mozenrath) I said I was going to post after I did my headcanons for OLIVER DARLING

So basically Mozenrath ended up adopting Malekai when his Mamluk servants discovered that the baby had been left ABANDONED in his lands, and Mozenrath decided to keep him until he found somewhere to send him, and then oops he got ATTACHED, no takebacks now sir.

He named him once he realized ‘guess this is my kid now’.

Due to Mozenrath’s GENERAL PARANOIA and the whole Auradon Situation Malekai has NEVER left the Land of the Black Sand, and the borders to the country have been very much closed off since THE ISLE became a thing.

Malekai has grown up around magic, and the dead, and has lived a VERY sheltered life behind the walls of Mozenrath’s citadel. Fueling his fascination for the world at large, AND magic in general with his father’s large collection of magical artifacts, books, and weapons.

He is a SORCERER much like his father, though his knowledge is greater than his natural talent, having only recently been able to SUMMON a FAMILIAR, while his father had summoned Xerxes when he was half Malekai’s current age (17)

SKEISIES is Malekai’s familiar, and basically looks like a fire ferret from the Legend of Korra, he’s not as POWERFUL a familiar as Xerxes is, being only able to communicate with Malekai through a telepathic bond instead of speaking out loud. But he serves as Malekai’s closest and ONLY companion.

Mostly Malekai plays ONLINE VIDEO GAMES and studies magic but otherwise doesn’t get out much. His Real Life social interaction is NONEXISTENT.
