Lance and I have always thought about homeschooling are kids. It’s been a discussion we had for a long time and now that we are technically doing it, homeschooling is definitely a no. I’m literally going crazy with doing school work with them. Trying to help with their school work is making me feel dumb lol.

I can barely help Aiko with her school work. She’s pretty much on her own and using google. The triplets basically have to share a computer and tablet. I can somewhat help them. Jaxon is only in kindergarten so helping him is literally the best thing ever lol.

I can’t wait for school to comeback but I know that won’t happen until like September. The only thing good that came out of this virus is that the kids don’t have to take their state standardized test. Until then, y’all pray for me during these last two months of the school year lol.

Stuffed Peppers ~

Prep: 30 min Cook: 35min Serves: 6 So I love to make these because they are full of flavor and you can eat a little and be full, thanks to the meat and the rice. So here’s what you’ll need:

1 1/2 cups cooked rice

6 bell peppers (or 3 large ones for fewer servings)

2 teaspoons olive oil

3/4 cup onion, chopped

1 pound lean ground beef (or turkey)

2 cloves of minced garlic

15 oz. diced tomatoes

8 oz. tomato paste

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1 cup of shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided into 2 parts

Directions:

Cook rice according to package and let cool.

Preheat oven to 400F.

Cut peppers into halves, removing the stem and seeds.

 Heat olive oil in large skillet, and cook onions 2-3 mins.

 Add meat to pan and brown. Add garlic and stir 30 sec.

 Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, salt and pepper to pan. Simmer 2-3 min. Remove from heat and stir in rice and half the cheese.

Pour 1/2 cup water into 9x13inch baking dish. Fill peppers with meat and rice mix and place them in the dish. Sprinkle on remaining cheese.

Cover with foil, bake for 30 mins. Uncover, and bake 5 more mins to slightly brown cheese. Serve and enjoy!

Hello Everyone,

Today was absolutely PERFECT in terms of weather here in Savannah, Georgia and instead of staying on the farm like we usually do, Theron and I decided to take them to one of my favorite little parks in town. It only recently was just put in. I discovered it while walking with Pal, though at the time it was still under construction. I love all the bright colors, they really did an amazing job!

Ivy was so upset when we finally had to go (mosquitos were coming out in swarms). She didn’t understand why she couldn’t take “just one” of the dinosaurs home with her, lol. I promised we’d come again soon! Especially with summer approaching, I expect my favorite red haired trio to be spending a lot of time over at our farm. Well, maybe at least Harrison and Hazel. Meg’s very pregnant right now so I try to take the kids off her hands, especially on the weekends when they’re restless. However, Reese is home today so they decided to go do stuff with his family. It warms my heart to see my best friend so happy and her kids adoring their soon to be step father!

Anyways, I just wanted to post some pics and say howdy-do! I’ve gotta go feed the pigs and milk Betsy before she starts a riot!

5 months with Remy!

This months has been a whirlwind. Remy is growing like a weed and has officially hit 21 pounds and is showing no signs of stopping! He is still exclusively breastfed but is definitely interested in food, grabbing at ours etc. which is not at all surprising as he loves eating but he wont be starting solids until 6 months. He is sleeping just as well as before and has dropped one of his night feeds which i personally appreciate as im getting longer stretches of sleep.

4.6.20 - Guess who’s back again?

Yes, the Reeves Family is back. I’m pretty sure a lot has changed on this site since the last time I posted something but I miss you guys and hope there’s still some simumblrs out there.

I guess I should re-reintroduce myself lol. I’m Mikelle and I’m the mother of 5 and the wife of Lance. Lance and I are real-estate agents and are also artists on the side.

Aiko is the oldest, who just turned 14 years old in January and she’s a freshman in high school. Aiko actually my sister’s daughter but my sister passed away. Lance and I adopted her and our life couldn’t be any better.

Then there is the triplets who are 10 years old -  Shyanne, Jezika and Aeryn and they are in 5th grade now. You’ll know their personality really soon. Shyanne is the girly triplet, Jezika is the smarty triplet and Aeryn is the sporty triplet.

Then we have our youngest and only boy Jaxon. Jaxon just turned 5 in February and I already missed him being a baby. It seems like everyday more and more of his personality is coming out.

I’m glad to be back and I really hope everyone is safe during this COVID-19<3

Hi everyone, so I’m new to this whole blogging scene if it isn’t obvious. I’m Clem. I’m 23, soon to be 24, and I am a professional photographer, a wife, and 8 months ago I became a first time mom! This handsome guy is my husband, Ezra. This cutie is my daughter Hazelynn and she is the absolute light of my life. 

Hazel is sweet, curious, sassy, and did I mention the cutest thing in the world?I’m super excited to share our lives with you, and I look forward to getting to know other moms and families! Off we go on our next adventure!

H o w d y   Y a ’ l l . . . 

So, Colbie’s first day at our new place in Georgia went off with a bang! MJ successfully taught Auntie Coco ( @wanderlust-pixels) how to milk a cow properly and the correct term for a cow’s “nipple” (spoiler alert - it’s a teet!).

We introduced her to some of the new livestock as well. On our farm back in Arizona we only have Duke, our horse, our three cows and some chickens - not counting Pal because he’s a member of the family. Here in Georgia, we have geese, chickens, cows, horses, goats, sheep, pigs and lamb. It was quiet comical to see Colbie squeal and squirm when Bacon (whom Colbie affectionately named) touched her hand with its snout, LOL! Ivy was confused because all animals are precious to her and none of the are “icky,” Macie seemed to be more understanding at Auntie Coco’s squemishness towards the wet pig snouts.

We decided to turn in early (no thanks to Kevin the Cat who tried to make a narrow, but not successful, escape - he’s chipped but the chip has our address for Arizona so we’ll be making a call to the local vet to see about an appointment and the possibility for a second chip) and ended the day with some good Georgia BBQ grub and a Pajama party in the living room (as the girls rooms aren’t quiet set up yet they’ve been sleeping in our room with us) where we rolled out sleeping bags and had a camp out with the glass doors open until some of the chickens decided to join us. If you thought Colbie’s reaction to the pigs was funny, you should of seen her when she woke up with a chicken on her chest and it staring down at her. It took us almost an hour to catch that thing and the clean up was not fun, BUT Colbie’s visit sure was! I have more pictures to post, but right now we’re a bit busy with more visitors who have come to see us :)

another little one?

If you haven’t already heard one of my best friends gave birth to the most precious little girl,  Aiobhe Katherine O’Doyle. We decided ahead of time that we would take little Eoghan when El went into labour. Lochlan brought Eoggy over at around midnight and he was pretty sleepy obviously so we had a little cuddle to settle him and then popped him in a travel bed in our room just in case he woke up a little confused. Although he’s at our house a lot but never stayed over but luckily he slept very peacefully. As you can imagine Sacha was extremely excited to wake up to his best friend and as it was a very special day they got to have a treat breakfast of vegan banana bread muffins.

4.11.20 // Quarantine Shopping

These last couple of months has been so crazy. So much has been going on and I really hope everyone is coping and doing well. The stores around my neighborhood has calm down with the crazy shopping but it’s still kind of hard to find the essentials items. The main store I go to is Publix and they make sure you don’t stock up on items which is great. I seen so many people that bought so much stuff and their family isn’t as big as mine. I always buy what we need for that week because I know there’s people out there that need some essentials stuff too.

One thing that has help this family a lot is “Home Chef”. “Home Chef” is a company that sends you and your family dinner for a week. It has help us a lot with not having to buy food for dinner at the store and saves us money.

I really hope by this time next month that everything will be back normal. Be safe everyone<3

Howdy Strangers!

I know it’s been awhile since I last updated. Things have.. well.. it’s a lot to say and I don’t have much time in between the girls napping, cooking, cleaning, getting ready for the cows and the rest of the animals to be brought over and just... *sighs*

My Mother is sick, so I’ve come ‘home’ to Georgia to see to her needs and make sure everything is in order if things go south. It’s great to be back in Savannah, I’ve missed it, but I don’t miss the plantation. So, Theron and I have bought our second home so that we can come back and visit whenever we want or whenever he’s working out around here. To be slightly closer to him. The girls are loving it here. I don’t think they really knew what to do with themselves with so much greenery, lol! However, they love it. Especially Ivy and Ari. I think Macie is a little homesick, but Meghan ( @littlegingersnaps) has promised to bring Harrison and Hazel out for a visit. What she doesn’t know is that I’ve been talking her up to an old friend of mine that I think would really suit her! Hehe!

Anyways, I’ve gotta go. My Mother’s calling and Theron isn’t home yet so I have to get the girls up and take them with me to the old plantation. Wish me luck!

When Ivy, Ari and I were little - we used to look out at this house from the window in the barn and make up ghost stories that would keep us up at night! When I was a teenager and I watched TWD and saw Herschel’s Farm for the first time - It made me think of the Abandoned Farm across the way and that’s been what we have called it since! We used to ride our horses over there from Gran’s when we would visit (Mom had moved us back to Arizona after Gran got better, but then Ivy wanted to move to Georgia permanently so now we vacation in Arizona instead of the latter) and play hide and seek and store goodies there for camp outs. It’s where I discovered my first love, it’s where I ran to when my heart was broken. It’s always had a draw for me, a pull that I could never ignore despite my parents telling me to not go there (or at least not by myself - though I hardly listened). Now that I’m 20 years old and am expecting a family of my own - I think it’s time that I find my own place. I love Skye, but I also know how hard it’s going to be with a little baby crying in the middle of the night and she’s works! I need to do this! So when the bank finally put the ‘Herschel’s Farm’ on the market I started saving up my money.

It took me a bit of time, but I knew no one else would want it. Not even transients resided there on stormy nights. However, after discovering that I was creating a baby inside me - I worked up the courage to ask my parents for a loan. Today, I signed the papers! I’m OFFICIALLY a homeowner! However, as you can tell, it needs a lot of work done to it. That’s why I reached out to @kinsethdesign and contracted them to help me with said renovations! It’s going to cost a pretty penny,, but Daddy said he’d help me with that! I have 100% faith in Kinseth Design team though and am not worried about a thing except that maybe it’s better if I just demolish it! Which would break my heart, but Daddy said it’s a real possibility! In which case, I’d be a land owner, not a homeowner and I’d have to change the contract that Kinseth Deisgn and I wrote out!

I’m really excited for this ground breaking to start!!

month number  t h r e e.

Updates- We had to register Remy's birth this month (in Ireland we have until 12 weeks to register birth/name) and we made a couple of changes to what we originally announced his name would be. After many late night conversations, we decided to go with Remus Boone as his given name and he’ll go by Remy as a nickname.

Stats- Remy now weighs 16 pounds and is measuring at 24 inches long. He is still sitting at the 97th percentile for weight and 98th for height.

Feeding- He still eats around seven million times a day... well slight over reaction but boy this little one is a hungry pup. We probably nurse around 9 - 10 times a day for around 10-15 mins each time.

Sleep-  If there's one thing the little one loves as much as food its sleep. Over the course of this month, Remy has begun sleeping from 8 pm all the way through until 3 am! He then he has a slightly longer feed then longer then goes back off to sleep until 7 am.

I finally feel like we’re getting back into the swing of things, we’re back at meeting up with our friends regularly and going to all our usual toddler groups/classes and even signed Remy up for baby sensory which we both love (for real it's so relaxing hahah).
