Warning: The ending is full of triggers.

As a horror story, this is really really good. But I personally dislike the ending, even when I know it’s a necessary part of the good horror.

It’s a bit contrived, the way it ended. But the movie lampshades this. “Because you let me.”It also foreshadows the ending with the bedtime story in the 1st act.

Ez az a film, amitől ha lehet, még antiszociálisabb lettem.

Bjorn és Louise, egy szimpatikus dán házaspár Toszkán nyaralásuk során megismerkedik Patrick-kal és Karin-nal, egy holland párral, akik meghívják magukhoz Bjornéket egy hétvégi nyaralásra. Velük tart lányuk, Agnes is, aki a holland pár gyermekével, Abellel kb. egykorú. Eleinte minden idilli, vidéki hangulatot kapunk, szinte mi is együtt sétálunk a holland vidéken a főszereplőkkel, együtt sütögetünk, iszogatunk velük, de aztán egyre csak jönnek a furcsaságok. Patrick nem is orvos, ahogyan Toszkánában mondta, a vendéglátók elfeledkeznek Louise vegetáriánusságáról, majd kis tipi-tapi műsort adnak elő tánc közben Bjornéknek egy vendéglőben, stb, stb. Kis apróságok, viszont roppant feszült végig a hangulat, aztán a film végére ez a feszültség durva nyomasztóvá válik. Kellemetlen, hogy tehetetlenül kell néznünk a filmet, és nem tehetünk semmit, hogy az történjen, amit várnánk, hogy történjen egy ilyen jellegű film végén.

A film 10/10, óriási, november óta szerettem volna megnézni, végre sikerült, nem csalódtam. Csak erős idegzetűeknek.

Chris: This Danish film is more suspense than horror, about families vacationing together and things go wrong, film becomes a bit grim, noteworthy because it is about accepting cultural differences, only for staunch horror film fans due to grimness, Watch: On Subscription Service.

Richie: The story seemed a little under-developed, it was done well. I just prefer horror with a little fun in it and it didn’t have much fun, Avoid.
