ok but this a masterpiece of a shot. like it's so fucking cool. i know sometimes we make fun lf sonic x for having bad animation quality and that's fine its true and funny but just . this shot. it's soooooo

first of all, how giantantic everything is compared to chris. he's literally just a kid. he's just a kid. it makes the shot look ever so lonely with the emptiness and the shadows cast. and the light being so bright you can't see anything beyond it and that being the place his parents departed to....

tldr: this shot is a masterpiece

i think something people dont really understand is that. xsonic and xshadow arent friends. not even rivals. xsonic IS friendly to him but he's just like that with everyone. because hes a genuinely nice person and doesnt like to be needlessly hostile. xsonic has no hesitiation in fighting xshadow to protect his friends because xshadow is not his friend. and of course, i think xsonic WOULD to be friends with xshadow, but thats. theyre not friends. chris and shadow is another story though. theyre dynamic is Something (affectionate) for sure.

tbh its actually really goddamn frustrating that the majority of the sonic fandom doesnt see dark sonic for what he actually is (a form that sonic took on primarily to PROTECT his friends because they were being threatened and he was afraid and was full of hatred towards the people trying to hurt them) and rather just see him as a evil mode. which is just. objectively not true. ive seen art of dark sonic doing evil stuff or being mean or hurting his friends which is just. SO fucking wrong it makes me angry. sonic became dark sonic to PROTECT his friends, not to hurt them. anyways basically im just tired of dark sonic being characterized as an evil mode when in actual reality he's done nothing wrong and nothing that would suggest he's actually like that besides having a typically evil associated color palette

everytime i see someome describe or depict dark sonic as a stereotypical evil mode i take so much psychic damage its that bad. the worse part is that. there's literally no actual evidence towards this pov. sonic just gets a little too eager to fight and smashes two metarex bots. and let's be real here he would've done that anyway. and like. he calms dpwn very easily when eggman says that line about not letting anger and hate control you blahblahblah. lif this was supposed to be an evil transformation they could of very easily justified him attacking eggman but they didn't. tldr dark sonic isn't evil you guys are just stupid. sorry that was mean. you guys just don't understand him like i do.
