bought some lithops seeds back in july and the oldest one (in the middle here) has just started to split! at two and a half months old they’re about the size of a pencil eraser and i’m so proud.

#lithops #pets and plants #i've wanted some for years but never felt confident in my ability to grow them from seed #until now! #side note: i love how incredibly vague care instructions for seedlings are #most guides i've read (including some on tumblr!) say that you need high humidity and basically constant moisture for the first week or two #and they tell you to switch to seasonal watering once they split for the first time #but in between the few weeks of high moisture and seasonal watering there's absolutely no information about how to care for them #like cool everyone i'm just going to guess
