The big voice packed in a little body is New Britain, CT native Niki “Hunni” Ellis. “Truthfully, Hunni just came from my old AIM username,” she laughed. “It was RicanHunny32.” She first picked up the pen when she was just 8 years old after being inspired by Lil Kim’s “Not Tonight” remix and has not put it down since. “I have been featured in ASCAPs all female showcase at SXSW and opened (the shows) for Cardi B and Styles P,” she exclaimed. Hunni has also worked with CT’s own Anoyd and Chill Shump.
