Shudao, what are three things you're grateful for?

Oh, shit, tough one/.

Uh... well, first of all, this isn't really gratitude towards a particular person, but I'm pretty thankful I was one of the ones to make it out the lab relatively safe/. Lot of others either didn't make it out, or if they did, didn't get far/.

Second... real thankful for the other guys/. I had some roots planted when I met them, but they helped me adjust to normal life/.

And last, but not least/...

He mutters to himself.

Probably least surprising, though/...

I'm so goddamn glad I met Anri/. She's just... well, I'm sure you've heard how amazing I think she is/. Not that I could ever put it fully into words, but you get the point/.

Also, uh, fuck it, bonus point: Honestly kinda thankful for the shit I went through in the lab/. Like, it was horrible, wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy and certainly wouldn't go through it again, but I wouldn't be half of who I am today without it/. Like, some of the fights I've gotten into/? Wouldn't have stood a chance/. I mean, shit, I managed to fight a guy with a gun and his lusus, and won pretty handily/. He was wounded, sure, but even then/.

Not really, or at least I can't think of anything right now/...

But if she ever wanted to try anything, something tells me I would have a hard time telling her no/.

The oliveblood, feeling a bit uncomfortable, immediately perks up, his tail starting to wag as he notices a familiar scent and a pair of arms wrapping around him.

Oop/! Hey, Anri/!

He turns to the troll that had been flirting with him, looking a bit apologetic despite how uncomfortable they had made him.

It was sweet of you to shoot your shot, but... You're a little late on that front/.

He then allows Anrias to lead the way away from them, letting out a breath once they're a little way away.

A sleepy Rodazz walks up to a door, knocking gently. When it opens, a familiar Oliveblood stands there, a kind look on his face.

"Hey, what's wrong/? You wanna come in/?"

"Yes please..."

Shudao brings him in, taking him to the couch.

"So, why'd you come here so early, Ro/? Did something bad happen/?"

"N-noth!ng bad happened... ! just couldn't sleep, and !'ve been really exc!table today, s-so ! don't want to bother my lusus any more..."

A soft smile forms on the oliveblood's face, looking at the other troll.

"How have you been sleeping recently/?"

"Q-qu!te well... !'ve been try!ng to get used to sleep!ng out of my recuperacoon so ! can stay w!th you more often..."

"Rodazz... You know that isn't healthy/. The only reason I can do it is because I'm not a normal troll/."

"Y-yes, ! know, but !'m gett!ng used to !t now... ! can sleep almost just as well sleep!ng out of !t as ! do sleep!ng !n !t..."

Shudao sighs, and picks up the smaller troll in his arms.

"I guess if you're adapting to it alright, it should be fine/. Let's see if I can help you sleep, eh/?"

"Yay! Thank you!"

Seeing the younger troll get so excited fills Shudao with a sense of pride, and he carries him up to his respiteblock.

"You need anything before we sleep, little man/?"

"A glass of water m!ght help..."

"Alright then, just wait here, okay/?"

Shudao quickly heads downstairs, pouring a glass of water before coming up and handing it to the small seadweller.

"There you go, kiddo/. Now, let's get some sleep, okay/?"

"Okay! Goodn!ght, Shudao!"

"Goodnight, Ro/. Sweet dreams/."

The two of them lay there on the blanket pile, Rodazz snuggled into the half-lusus' arms as they fall asleep.

The oliveblood lets out a chuckle before speaking.

"Graceful/? Not a chance in hell/. I'd like to think I'm decently dextrous, but I don't tend to be the most subtle person/. That dexterity does lend me to being quite good with my hands, though, if you catch my meaning/."

(Incidentally, he's also very particular about first aid procedures, which has helped him quite a bit in recent times!)

🐶 ---- Does your muse get excited easily? Is there someone (or particular people) that make them excited?

"I wouldn't say I'm easily excitable as a general rule, but that might just be because Rodazz is my main frame of reference, and he could make a tornado look calm/. But I'm sure it comes as no surprise that one person who is an exception to that is Anri, I really can't help it but get excited when we're together/."

His tail wags slightly when he mentions his matesprit, a smile forming on his face.

🐞 ---- Do they believe in love at first sight? If not, what's the reason?

"At first sight/? Well, I don't know about actually at first sight, but I know damn well it didn't take me too long to fall completely and hopelessly in love, so yeah, I'd believe it moreso than not/."

The tailwags only get more intense, as he remembers what he now sees as some of the most important nights of his life. Well, at least until his tail slaps into a table, knocking over a glass of water.

"Shit, gonna have to clean that up/. Told you I wasn't very graceful or whatever/!"
