because I’ve seen someone insinuate ugly things, let me be very clear: yes, adam and ronan are going to find each other in every life, every time. yes, they are soulmates, if you will. but they’re not together because of some predestination; they are together because they chose to be. ronan recognized adam from his dream and knew it had to mean something, but he wasn’t magically in love with him before actually getting to know him. as we know, adam didn’t like ronan much at first. need I remind you it took four books for them to kiss? it was a slow burn because neither of them were ready to be together before going through their own personal growth. when adam starts noticing ronan’s attention, it’s after a lot of change has occurred in his life. ronan fell first, sure, because he’d paid a lot of attention to adam, had learned him so thoroughly, and loved what he found. only when adam allowed himself to see ronan’s vulnerable side, and therefore came to know things about ronan that he hadn’t, did his feelings come to the surface. they fell in love because they couldn’t help recognizing the truth of each other. they will always choose that. haters can suck it 🫶
