Alice Gear Aegis, svelati cast e staff dell’OVA

Il cortometraggio ispirato al videogame uscirà in Giappone questa estate.

Il sito ufficiale aperto da COLOPL per l’adattamento animato del videogioco “Alice Gear Aegis” si è aggiornato, svelando dei primi bozzetti e i principali membri di cast e staff al lavoro sull’OVA, il cui titolo ufficiale è “Alice Gear Aegis: Doki! Actress Darake no Mermaid Grand Prix”. 

Il breve episodio, della durata di circa 15 minuti, sarà venduto in bundle con una nuova serie di tre figure, realizzata per il franchise da Megahouse, Kotobukiya e Max Factory. Ciascun modellino avrà un finale speciale dedicato al personaggio di riferimento, garantendo circa 90 secondi bonus per ogni bundle. L’uscita è prevista in Giappone per l’estate 2021. 

Le protagoniste dell’anime invece saranno:

Sitara Kaneshiya: Maaya Uchida (Katarina Claes in My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!)

Yumi Yotsuya: Eriko Matsui (Kirukiru Amou in Armed Girl's Machiavellism)

Sugumi Kanagata: Atsumi Tanezaki (Chise Hatori in The Ancient Magus' Bride)

Yotsuyu Hirasaka: Manami Numakura (Mary Steinberg in No Guns Life)

Fumika Momoshina: Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa Ackerman ne L’Attacco dei Giganti)

Toka Shimoochiai: Yuna Taniguchi (Nao Nanao in Ahiru no Sora)

Il corto è diretto da Hirokazu Hanai (Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san, Dances with the Dragons) e prodotto presso lo studio Nomad (Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Warui, Dropkick on My Devil!). La sceneggiatura è affidata a Masahiro Okubo (Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko), il character design è a cura di Rikiya Okano (Tokyo Autumn Session), mentre le musiche stanno venendo composte da Zuntata.

Il videogioco è stato lanciato per dispositivi mobili nel gennaio del 2018 e gode del concept design ad opera di Humikane Shimada (Frame Arms Girl, Girls und Panzer, Strike Witches). Le protagoniste della storia sono le Actress, delle ragazze, che con l’ausilio di speciali equipaggiamenti, combattono le misteriose macchine senzienti conosciute come Vice.

Alice Gear Aegis OAV Reveals Main Staff and Cast

  The main staff and cast have been revealed for Alice Gear Aegis ~ Dokki! Actress darake no Mermaid Grand Prix♥～, an upcoming original animation video project based on the Alice Gear Aegis smart phone game that will be bundled as a bonus with a series of plastic model kits released by Megahouse, Kotobukiya, and Max Factory. The main staff includes:

  Additionally, the ending theme song will be performed in-character by Yotsuya Hirasaka (CV: Manami Numakura), Sitara Kaneshiya (CV: Maaya Uchida), and Fumika Momoshina (CV: Yui Ishikawa), while the insert song will be performed in-character by Toka Shimoochiai (CV: Yuna Taniguchi).

  Customers who purchase figures / plastic model kits of Sitara Kaneshiya, Sugumi Kanagata, and Yumi Yotsuya (created by toy-makers Megahouse, Kotobukiya, and Max Factory, respectively) will receive a special QR code that will allow them to download the Alice Gear Aegis ~ Dokki! Actress darake no Mermaid Grand Prix♥～ OAV as a bonus.

  The OAV is approximately 15 minutes in length, and each toy will come with a different ending (approximately 90 seconds in length) for each of the three characters. The toys are scheduled to be released in 2021, with the OAV is scheduled to be released in the Summer of 2021.
