The creative arts journal celebrates the work of established and emerging artists in the Texoma region. Creative expression of all types will be considered, including (but not limited to) fiction, biographical non-fiction, poetry, visual poetry, painting, collage, drawing, photography, photo essay, music, performing arts, etc. If you have work that you would like to submit for consideration, please introduce yourself by email and include an description of the work. For written work, include an email attachment in .doc, .rtf, or .pdf format. For visual work, include a .jpg or .pdf attachment illustrating a work sample. If your work is performance based, and you have a link to an external video site, please include it for review. The deadline for submissions for the upcoming issue is Monday, December 30th. You will be notified about your submission’s status no later than Friday January 3rd. "During the GTAC Artists Reception on the evening of December 6th, you may consider me to be a human canvas. You are invited and encouraged to adjust my posture (using touch commands) and make use of the available styling tools, implements, textiles, makeup, paints, etc. to transform my physical form and appearance again and again throughout the course of the evening. Very little is off-limits- just avoid the underwear area, and don't pierce my skin on purpose. Other than that, I don't have any preconceived ideas for what you will or won't do.
