For shits and giggles, thoughts on my main Genshin team as DnD characters

Itto is a Tiefling (standing in for Oni) Fighter, Brute subclass, Urchin subclass. I love him but he doesn't do a lot of special things in a fight, he just hits hard and survives hits. His fighting styles are Great Weapon and Two-Handed. Alternatively, he could be an Ancestral Guardian Barbarian if you wanna lean into his Crimson Oni ancestry.

Heizou is a Human Monk, Way of the Cobalt Soul, with an Investigator background. With some reconfiguration of the backstory, it has a lot of the Inquisitve Rogue stuff I want without getting into multiclassing. That said, he could also be a Rogue/Monk multiclass, OR an Inquisitive Rogue with the Unarmed Strike fighting style via the Fighting Initiate feat.

Shinobu is a Human Bard, College of Lore, Sage or Acolyte Background. Bard lets her be a jack-of-all-trades that she is, and gets Expertise which she canonically has a in a bunch of things. Her healing and inspiration are miko/spiritual abilities not music, but otherwise it fits really well. (Inquisitive Rogue and Shadow Monk are also possible options)

Not sold on if Yoimiya is gonna clean up my team yet or not. But if she does: She's a Human Artificer, Artillerist subclass, Guild Artisan background. I don't know if she needs a feat or multiclass to use Artificer shit with her Bow, but I don't think it's a problem.

litg characters as d&d classes: villa edition

bobby - cleric. order domain. folk hero background.

I can never forget judge bobby which is why I chose the order domain, and I chose cleric because of his personality. he's a caring person, would love to fix any inner party issues.

lottie - wizard. school of divination. sage background.

because of her tea reading/tarot gives me vibes that she's wiccan/pagan and you learn those types of things when interested in that stuff.

gary - barbarian. path of the ancestral guardian. clan crafter background.

couldn't really see any fitting paths for him, mainly because barbarians are very strong through rage based. it was either this or paladin, and I think barbarian fits better.

rahim - fighter. battle master. city watch background.

with his love for superheroes, fighter seems to the best choice for him. battle master because there's a lot of stuff in this subclass that feels very much like a superhero would have.

henrik - ranger. fey wanderer. far traveler background.

obviously very natured based class, i thought about druid but I'm saving that for someone else. also ranger is more dex based and since henrik is more muscle based in nature, I thought this class would fit best. fey wanderer because it would also fit him.

rocco - druid. circle of stars. far traveler background.

because he travels a lot, I wanted to combine that with using the stars as navigation.

noah - sorcerer. abberant mind. guild artisan background.

couldn't really figure out if he would be a wizard, but sorcerer fits more into a librarian standard, as well as abberant mind.

hope - warlock. the fiend. guild merchant background.

personally, I'm not much of a fan of hope. warlock seems to fit with her, not really a good subclass to fit her so I just went with fiend.

hannah - bard. college of lore. entertainer background.

all of this fits her, she'd be a storytelling bard instead a musician. she would be a well known story teller across the land.

marisol - paladin. oath of devotion. investigator background.

someone had to be the paladin, and I thought it would be marisol because she's a lawyer.

priya - sorcerer. storm sorcery. noble background.

would use her magic to look more flashier, beautiful. would be a model for art pieces and would be well known for it.

lucas - cleric. life domain. inheritor background.

have his own clinic for soldiers, mercenaries, etc. thought that would fit with his physiotherapist background.

jo - rogue. thief. gladiator background.

why did I even include her.

jakub - barbarian. path of the beast. faction agent background.

just because.

chelsea - bard. college of eloquence. guild artisan background.

would also be a story telling bard, but a lot less than hannah. would put a lot more time into her craft than her class.

elisa - sorcerer. shadow magic. entertainer background.

same with priya, she'd use her magic to look prettier. would go on adventures, come back and tell stories of her adventure. would be famous from town to town as everyone would spread her stories.

gonna do a Casa Amor version soon, which will also include the other girls.
