i may just be the only person who preferred, or at least was more interested in, yale rory.

#she’s so overhated #all she is is a direct product of how she was raised and treated #she grew up surrounded by praise and was basically the princess of stars hollow #and then she gets to yale and is no longer the best or the smartest #and so she starts to fall behind and the thought of falling behind makes her even worse #she’s already lost without this praise but she becomes even worse when mitchum comes into the mix #because he confirms her fears that she may not be as great as she/everyone thinks she is #and so she spirals #she is so realistic and i’m done hearing people complain about her just because she isn’t cute and young anymore #she makes mistakes… lots of them- but she’s still herself #and i prefer her because of her complexity and how realistic she is #gilmore girls #rory gilmore #yale rory gilmore
