So... toy story 4 (spoilers?)

It ended how i expected.. it ended perfectly for this movie’s own story but as an ending of a series... it just didnt work for me. It didnt felt satisfying or earn? For woody and buzz at least.

I keep comparing it to WiR2 cause vanellope and ralph also went separated ways but in that movie it felt that they really had to cause they had different lives and dreams. Here it just felt like he went for the girl instead of his family. I think they should have built for a longer time the feeling of emptiness in woody for him to feel like he needed something different in life. Even when he was being put aside by bonnie he still had a role in that family of toys. Different from vanellope who literally found herself with no home, job or future. Also the other toys that belong to bonnie felt really unecessary and had very few screentime and even some new characters could have been completely cut.

But I did LOOOOOOOOVE every secong bo was on screen. She was really funny and adventurous and her scenes were either exciting or super emotional.

I was never the biggest toy story fan, tho i do like the 3rd one a lot, but i cant be mad at this one. I feel what I feared I would: it wasnt really that necessary. It could have been a tv special or short. The 3rd one ended more than amazingly. It was a painful and hard to take in ending but one that we needed and that brought closure. I dont feel like that about this ending. Its not pixar’s best, nor the best toy story, i feel like its a finding dory kind of movie. And with that said, I cant be mad it exists. It still has a good story with good characters, gooooooood animation and in any other studio it would have been its best movie. And i loved bo in this so im happy it exists :)

Anyway that oscar is going for frozen tho 😬
