Sea Princesses: Into the Liamverse Part 24: Yo-Kai Benja Special
There's no YouTube Community post link for this one as these OCs, created by Liamverse YouTuber Yo-Kai Benja, were sent to me via Discord DMs. This is a look into the salines of what could possibly be yet another universe. The World of Salacia, located off the coast of Brazil (particularly near Santos, Sao Paulo), isn't the only place where salines, kingdoms and royal families can be found. These princes and princesses are from kingdoms located across a mass of Dryland from Salacia, off the coast of Viña del Mar in Valparaíso, Chile. Read to the end for some lore and theories.

History
Leo is the Mussel Prince. When he was 9, fishermen destroyed Leo’s home in the Mussel Kingdom and his parents were killed, leaving him in the care of the families of his friends Felipe, Merluzina, Reinetina and Globina as he frequently moved between their kingdoms with his pet Chorito, becoming more and more independent as a result.
When Leo turned 15, he decided to move to Salacia, where he made numerous friends including Delfi, Agostinha, Marcello, Hugo and Sirilo. Although he loved living in the metropolis of Salacia, he would visit his friends back home sometimes, hoping that they could go on a trip with him to Salacia one day. He also frequents the Dryland cities of Valparaíso and Viña del Mar in Chile.
Leo is a kind person who likes to help people around him and works to prevent Drylanders from bringing harm to the sea.
Curiosities
- Leo prefers to travel between his kingdom and Salacia through Dryland as it would be a two-week trip by bus (around the treacherous Drake Passage) whereas it takes 6 to 7 hours by plane and public transportation (from Viña del Mar to Florianópolis via Santiago). Before the Salacia-Dryland Peace Treaty was signed in 2018, this would have been an impossibility due to it breaking the First Law of Salacia.
- Leo is a fan of all things Chilean, such as the food, the cities and above all, music.
- Leo loves to listen to Chilean bands such as Chancho en Piedra, Los Prisioneros, Los Bunkers and 31 Minutos. He plans on forming a tribute band with Marcello, Hugo and Sirilo but he is unable to decide which group to tribute.
- Leo is a bass player, with his inspirations being Felipe Ilabaca and Jorge Gonzalez.
- Leo’s initial design had him wearing a t-shirt with the Chilean flag on it.
- Leo also has a pet mussel named Chorito.

History
Globina is the Globefish Princess, her family distant relatives to the Blowfish Royal Family. She lives in the Globefish Kingdom, off the coast of Viña del Mar in Chile, across a mass of Dryland from Salacia. Her design is based on the longnose puffer.
The Globefish Royal Family has a peculiarity about them; every time they get excited, their heads inflate and they have to deflate themselves. They can also trigger this inflation manually to prank others or scare off predators. Globina feels uncomfortable when she stays inflated for too long as it makes her body feel tight. Other people tend to make fun of her family for this, much to their chagrin.
Globina’s best friend is Leo, with whom she shares some of the same tastes such as their love for music.

Note: Merlo and his family are the main royal family of the Hake Kingdom, mostly representing the Argentine hake.
Merluzina is noted to be a kinder version of Tubarina.

Reinetina is Merlutina's best friend, though the latter finds her annoying at times.
The lore of sub-species
While the World of Salacia may be vast, there are only so many kingdoms that can be located in the realm, so other kingdoms were established outside of it. Like with the kingdoms of Salacia, there are families who represent and look after smaller genera or species of fish. Some of them may be princes, princesses or high-ranking generals or ministers who are assigned a smaller species by their kings and queens. Some of them may be other nobles or aristocrats from a particular kingdom. Some of them may just be ordinary people, whether upper, middle or lower class, who could be distantly related to a Salacian royal family.
These families still have responsibilities to their particular species and are answerable to a family that oversees their taxonomic rank, up to the top rank that is the Salacian royal families. One such example is the Hammerhead Shark Kingdom; prince Marcello and princess Marcela are cousins to prince Veto and princess Tubarina of the Shark Kingdom. While Veto and Marcello may be the heirs to their respective thrones, Tubarina and Marcela could still be queens, only to a lesser sub-species and they would also be answerable to their respective monarchs. Not every prince or princess will become the ruler of a sub-kingdom, though they may be assigned to other positions.
Despite this caste system, there is rarely any discrimination, for the Laws of Salacia state that all families and all castes, whether royal, commoner or anywhere in between, should be respected.

In the last post, we covered Marli from manuelalejandro5980/Sirilo2023 Productions' creepypasta series, Sea Princesses: Water and Blood. This time, we cover another character, Soraia.

History
This Soraia and a number of her friends were clones who were released when their stasis tubes malfunctioned. They ended up on Dryland where they met Manuel, a friendly boy who would become friends with them as he brought them food and played with them every day.
However, a day came when Manuel had to leave his Salacian friends as he had to go to high school. With Soraia and her friends forced to fend for themselves, they would end up becoming wild after eating Caramelo, leading them to resent Manuel and Drylanders as a whole.
After 6 years, Manuel would return with his girlfriend to discover that the place where he played with his Salacian friends was deserted. They would fall into a trap set by Marli and Sirilo; Manuel was able to escape but his girlfriend was killed. Sirilo would go to Maurico and Soraia to ask for help getting revenge against Manuel.
Appearance
Initially, Soraia wore pink clothes, but as time went on, she would wear a worn pink dress.
Curiosities
- Soraia and Maurico do not appear in the first part except for in flashbacks. Their first appearance in the second part would be when Sirilo and Marli took Manuel to the cave where they hid Caramelo’s body.
- Soraia prefers to hunt in rural areas as she likes fields and places where there are crops.
- Her favourite weapon is a double-edged machete.
- She is also the most agile due to being the youngest of the group, ahead of Maurico and Isa.

The walls of the universe are beginning to wear thin as characters from different universes are starting to appear in Yabuverse PM10, where the war between Drylanders and Salacians continues on. You may recall manuelalejandro5980 aka Sirilo2023 Productions, the creator of Carlita and her siblings who is also a prolific creepypasta creator in the Liamverse. This is a character from one of Manuel's series, Sea Princesses: Water and Blood.

History
This Marli and a number of her friends were clones who were released when their stasis tubes malfunctioned. They ended up on Dryland where they met Manuel, a friendly boy who would become friends with them as he brought them food every day.
One day, Manuel stopped bringing them food and Marli and her friends began to resent him as they were forced to survive in a nightmarish world. They eventually resorted to eating Caramelo and from then on, they became wild beasts with a hatred for humanity.
Appearance
In the first part of the story, her past self wore a pink shirt, blue overalls and a yellow bow in her hair, but after becoming wild she wears an old black shirt, blue pants, black shoes and a chain.
In the second part, she now wears a magenta shirt with black grid stripes (similar to Sirilo’s) under black overalls.
Curiosities
- Although she was thought to be defeated in the first part after a girl hit her on a head with a mallet and she was tied in chains, she is revealed to still be alive.
- Her clothes were changed in the second part as many thought that she wore men’s clothes.
- Marli and Sirilo are the leaders of the entire band of cannibals (which also include their friends) in the second part.

Ryujitaro Saitan was a famous writer and creator of comics, manga and TV series. He was mainly known for being the creator of the Combo Rangers action series which would become a successful media franchise for a decade. He passed away in 1998 and he is succeeded by his four children.
History
Not much is known about Ryujitaro’s childhood other than he grew up in Nyoto City. In 1954, he began writing and illustrating manga and comics and in 1970, he went on to found Saitan Company, his own comic book publisher and production company. Ryujitaro made a caricature of himself with a superhero helmet known as the Mighty Combo which would become the face of Saitan Company as he began to be featured as the protagonist in a new series of comics.
In 1975, Ryujitaro decided to create a spinoff comic series featuring a team of heroes with the Mighty Combo as their mentor, known as Combo Rangers. The series was so popular that he decided to create a live-action TV series based on it. After numerous auditions of child actors and actresses between the ages of 7 and 9, production on the series began with Ryujitaro as its main director.
When the series premiered in 1979, it was a hit with audiences, however from the fourth season, Combo Rangers Zero, Ryujitaro had to entrust the production to his partner Gusman Pigbad. Over the coming years, Ryujitaro was angered at what Gusman was doing, from replacing Wendy Chammel Naral as the Yellow Combo Ranger to even adapting an already-existing work, Himitsu Sentai Gorenger for the seventh and eighth seasons, Combo Rangers Go Go Go. This resulted in Ryujitaro cancelling the series altogether in 1987.
Ryujitaro would continue to create comics and series until his death in 1998 at the age of 60. Gusman, who had already established his own company Pigbad Media, wanted to continue his legacy and announced that he would be reviving the Combo Rangers and creating new comic series. The revival series received a polarising reception from fans and critics due to the overexaggerated humour and drama among other negatives. Many dismissed the revival series as damaging to the image of the franchise and Ryujitaro’s legacy. Together with the executives of Saitan Company, Ryujitaro’s children, being the successors of their father’s estate, decided to sue Gusman and Pigbad Media for the rights to Combo Rangers. They won the lawsuit and Gusman’s Combo Rangers series was cancelled in 2003; his company would continue using their original characters in new IPs and franchises.
Appearance
Ryujitaro Saitan was a man of short stature and somewhat skinny but robust build. He had a round head that developed wrinkles and hollows as he grew older. His eyes were brown, he wore light orange glasses and had large black curly hair, which in his old age, turned grey.
Relationships
Fabio Saitan: Fabio was Ryujitaro’s oldest son. Fabio greatly admired his father but he was never interested in the entertainment business, instead deciding to pursue different careers, with his father being surprised to learn the number of jobs he had. Fabio was close with his father and after his death, he was the one who organised his funeral. After the lawsuit with Pigbad Media, the executives of Saitan Company agreed to share the rights to Combo Rangers with Fabio and his siblings as they had already moved on with other franchises with no intention of reviving it again. He was the one who gave Saitan Company his blessing to produce the 30th Anniversary special Once & Always: Combo Rangers Forever, even though it would end up becoming widely panned.
In 2013, Fabio’s daughter Milika would revive the Combo Rangers franchise with the backing of Saitan Company, respecting her grandfather’s vision.
Curiosities
Ryujitaro Saitan is based on Shōtarō Ishinomori, the creator of many franchises including Super Sentai and Kamen Rider, and Haim Saban, the creator of the Power Rangers franchise which was adapted from Super Sentai.
Ryujitaro’s son Fabio is based on Fabio Yabu, the creator of Combo Rangers and Sea Princesses.
The original actors of Combo Rangers didn’t find out about his death until they were called back for the 30th Anniversary Special, which shows how little importance his death gave them.
Ryujitaro did like Wendy Chammel Naral but was unable to find the truth of what happened to her due to various factors on both sides.
Originally Ryujitaro wanted to play the Mighty Combo but he was discouraged from doing so as he didn’t have the body composition or training.
This ends the consecutive Combo Rangers mini-arc as we are caught up with Liam's posts once again. Until more posts come out, this series will highlight a couple more OCs from other creators in the Liamverse before this series returns to either being on-demand or on hiatus with future posts banked for another run.

Henry Jockle Rivers Misser, also known as H.J.R Misser, is a former child actor who is currently a rap singer under the pseudonym White Misery. He was known for playing Luke, the White Combo Ranger on Combo Rangers.
History
Henry was born in Atenesia City on 27 December 1972 and lived a good childhood. From a very young age, he became interested in acting, appearing in many commercials before joining the cast of Combo Rangers in 1979 as their Sixth Ranger, the White Combo Ranger Luke. His role continued to the end of the series, but during Combo Rangers Go Go Go, the final two seasons of the series, his character was diminished due to limitations with the Sentai footage from Gorenger, leading him to be forgotten as the years went on, much to his chagrin.
After the series ended, Henry would go on to debut in the world of music, becoming the rapper White Misery and having a successful musical career to this day.
Personality
Henry is a rather extravagant and burlesque person. He often mocks many celebrities in his songs, whether as himself or his subpersona Skinny Silver.
Appearance
Henry is a thin-looking boy with silver hair and baggy clothes. He has a fast singing style and a thin and cartoonish voice which he uses under his subpersona Skinny Silver.

Federico do Roseiras was a child actor well known for playing the Green Combo Ranger and currently has a career as a rapper.
History
Federico was born in 1971 in a middle-class neighbourhood of Atenesia City. At a very young age, he showed a taste for music and acting. He made his acting debut on television commercials before taking on his first leading role in 1979 as Kiko, the Green Combo Ranger on Combo Rangers. After the series ended in 1987, Federico played some minor roles before transitioning to a career as a singer and rapper, eventually delving into drug vices in the world of entertainment.
Appearance
As a child, Federico was a thin African-American boy who always changed his styles, wearing all kinds of stylish clothes and listened to music on his Walkman. As a teenager, he didn’t change much except for growing taller. He began his career as a singer in his 20s and his drug addiction eventually gave him a haggard appearance with thin skin, wrinkles and rotten and crooked teeth.
Relationships
Freddy J. Fox: Federico and Freddy were best friends on the set of Combo Rangers. They both thought of themselves as the coolest and they liked to make fun of Wendy for being the nerdiest of the group. They still maintain a good relationship as adults.
H.J.R Misser/"White Misery": Federico went into rap together with this former co-star.
Dr Eel: When Federico and H.J.R Misser started their musical career, he was discovered by this producer who would become good friends with them and produce their best hits.
Curiosities
- As with most child stars, their careers stagnate and they become addicted to vices. As such, Federico became addicted to drugs.
- Federico as an adult has a haggard appearance due to drug use, a contrast to where Wendy ended up.
- Federico’s adult appearance is based on the rapper Snoop Dogg.
- Unlike the rest of the Combo Rangers, his child design is based on that of the original comics and not of his counterpart from The Pirates.
(Well, lose the headband in that and you’ve practically got him, but aside from that, comic Kiko’s hair defies gravity)

Kenjy Shi-Label is a former child actor who is currently a criminal wanted for various illegal activities. He was known for playing the Blue Combo Ranger in Combo Rangers.
History
Kenjy was born in Nyoto City in 1971 to a respected family in his neighbourhood. Although Kenjy was educated and disciplined, he loved to watch television as a child, his favourite programs being about superheroes fighting evil. One day in 1978, he saw in a magazine that a new superhero show, Combo Rangers, was casting children between the ages of 7 to 9 to be part of the main cast. Kenjy was good at martial arts and he had a little experience in acting in school plays, so his parents took him to audition for the role of the Blue Combo Ranger. After demonstrating his acting and martial arts skills, Ryujitaro Saitan and his producers hired him with no hesitation, making him the second confirmed cast member.
The Blue Combo Ranger was Kenjy’s television debut and despite being a rookie, he was a good actor. His character was Ken, a serious and disciplined student who fought emerging threats with the Combo Rangers. He never needed a stunt double since he was good enough to do his own fighting and acrobatics. Kenjy liked to accompany his co-stars in interviews and although he was reserved towards them, he did not approve of Wendy being teased by the others. After the series ended in 1987, he would continue acting in several films before he retired a few years later due to personal issues.
During the 90’s, Kenjy became interested in illegal racing, even competing in several races himself. He also began to commit crimes, such as robbing businesses and stealing car parts to modify sports cars. He would meet another criminal named Dominic and they would work together as hired thugs, stealing and attacking different targets sent by the people who hired them. Eventually, Kenjy and Dominic were hired by the Sea Serpent Prince Shai to be his full-time thugs and to this day, Kenjy continues his criminal activities while evading detection from the police.
Appearance
Kenjy as a child was of medium height and thin build. His greatest characteristic was his black hair that covered much of his face, despite which he could still see well. He wore a silver earring and his signature clothing of choice was a white t-shirt with ripped sleeves under a dark blue vest along with black sweatpants and a brown belt.
As a teenager, he did not have many changes apart from growing to a considerable height. He became completely different as an adult, however, cutting out his black bangs and leaving his hair short with a pompadour and a shaved face, preferring to wear black clothes.
Relationships
Kenjy does not have many friends as he is usually a reserved person. He is friendly and social to those who are familiar with him but he doesn’t tend to go far in relationships.

Teresa Cherrouse is a former Salacian actress who was well known as the Pink Combo Ranger from Combo Rangers.
History
Teresa was born in 1971 to an upper-middle class family in Atenesia City, so she had quite a few luxuries as a child. She had a dream of being an actress as a child; thanks to her parents helping her get auditions and roles, Teresa made her debut in television commercials in 1978 before landing her most successful role as Tati, the Pink Combo Ranger. Tati was the popular girl of the group and the love interest of Fox, the Red Combo Ranger, in the series, which also spread to real life as Teresa became the girlfriend of Fox’s actor, Freddie.
In public, Teresa seemed pretty and kind-hearted, but in reality, she was a spoiled and selfish girl. She always liked to be at the centre of attention and liked to join her co-stars in teasing and gossiping about Wendy, who played Lisa, the Yellow Combo Ranger; the girl who was supposed to be her best friend in the series was in reality the victim of her and her co-stars’ bullying. Eventually, Wendy’s sexual orientation was discovered and she left the series after harassment from the cast and crew, her place in the team having been replaced by the character of Maya Cooper.
After the series ended in 1987, Teresa and her co-stars continued with their solo careers. In the years that followed, Teresa found herself typecast due to her role and found her opportunities limited in other genres. Throughout the 90’s, she became an alcoholic and neglected her appearance, becoming fat in the process. With Freddy having very little success in his career as well, the two decided to end their relationship.
Teresa went into rehab and eventually went on to become a receptionist at a company run by Gusman Pigbad, one of her biggest critics during her career as an actress. Despite his past mocking of her, Gusman and Teresa would begin a relationship. She would become shocked upon learning what would become of Wendy after her time on Combo Rangers, an ironic punishment for the way Teresa treated her on set.
Appearance
As a child, Teresa was a thin-looking girl. She had light orange hair with light brown highlights tied into a ponytail and two blonde fringes on the sides of her face. She also has light blue eyes, two gold earrings and wears various types of classy and fashionable clothes.
As a teenager, her hair became longer which she tied into two long pigtails and her body became more athletic and slender. As she matured, Teresa became obese due to her alcoholism. Her face became more round, she continues to wear earrings and her hair is red with dark brown strands which she has down.
Relationships
Freddy J. Fox: Teresa and Freddy were co-stars on Combo Rangers and they were also in a relationship in real life. They were similar people in terms of personality and people loved their relationship in the media. Their relationship continued after Combo Rangers ended, but as their careers devolved into failures, Freddy became addicted to eating while Teresa became addicted to alcohol. They separated in the late 90’s, though they still talk from time to time.
Wendy Naral Chammel: Teresa and Wendy’s characters were supposed to be friends on screen, but in reality, Teresa was always very mean and rude to Wendy. Ironically, Teresa’s career would end in failure while Wendy became better off in the end.

Curiosities
- As is typical of child actors in real life, Teresa was a famous child actress known for her main role in Combo Rangers, but as she grew up, her career failed and she ended up turning to vices.
- The reason why Teresa’s career failed and Wendy’s career succeeded is because Wendy managed to adapt her skills outside of show business (as a children’s entertainer and carnival dancer) while Teresa continued to force her success in show business despite her typecast status affecting her potential in auditions and roles.

History
Freddy J. Fox was born in 1971. He had a privileged childhood where his parents always pampered him and gave him everything he wanted. His father, Francky L. Fox, was a very famous actor and director, which gave him a path to a career in entertainment. He first appeared in commercials from the age of 4 before moving onto supporting roles in his father’s films and making a breakout role in the series Combo Rangers at the age of eight, playing Fox, the Red Combo Ranger, alongside five other child actors. During his time on the show, he got into a relationship with actress Teresa Cherrouse just as their characters did on the series; their relationship continued for some years after the end of the series with its seventh and eighth season, Combo Rangers Go Go Go (adapting Himitsu Sentai Gorenger) in 1987.
After Combo Rangers ended, Freddy starred in a number of films and TV shows that would end up failing. As he was not cast in other successful works, Freddy began to realise that he was typecast as the Red Combo Ranger so in the early 2000s, he tried to get in contact with the creator, Ryujitaro Saitan (who also played the Combo Rangers’ leader and mentor, Mighty Combo) in an attempt to revive the series, however he learnt that Saitan had died and the rights had passed down to his son who would rather keep rerunning old episodes in syndication than create new ones.
Freddy’s career was very tarnished and as time passed, he neglected his appearance and became obese and repulsive to females. Without any demand for roles, Freddy lives off his past successes, posts in his own internet spaces (one of which is dedicated to mukbang videos) and indulges himself in erotic fantasies, particularly in relation to former co-star Wendy Chammel, effectively getting what he deserved for how he treated her on set.
Personality
Freddy J. Fox is an egotistical, arrogant, irritating, selfish, conceited and quarrelsome person who always wants to be the centre of attention, but as an adult he lost his image as a good and attractive boy. He became a failed actor who is only remembered for his past successes.

The next few instalments of Into the Liamverse are going to be a little bit different as they aren't about any princes or princesses; in fact, they are about the Salacian Combo Rangers, or rather the child actors and actresses who played them.
The Salacian version of Combo Rangers was created by Ryujitaro Saitan. A total of eight seasons were broadcast between 1979 and 1987; three for the original series, two for Combo Rangers Zero, one for Combo Rangers Revolution and two for Combo Rangers Go Go Go, which adapted Himitsu Sentai Goranger.
In the Sea Princesses animated series, the Combo Rangers made cameos as Drylander children in The Pirates. They also made appearances as random Drylander adults in episodes such as The Head Top and The Big Mess. Compilations of the Rangers' cameos and their original designs are included at the end of each instalment.

History
Wendy was born in the city of Atenesia in 1971. Since she was little, Wendy was a very shy and adorable girl who liked to read, play and look at swordfish. From a very young age, Wendy showed interest in acting, which led her to make her debut in 1979 at the age of 8, initially appearing in commercials before getting her breakout role in the Salacian adaption of Combo Rangers, helmed by series creator Ryujitaro Saitan, as Lisa Lima, the Yellow Combo Ranger.
Wendy loved being on Combo Rangers even though wasn’t very amicable with the rest of the cast; Kenjy Shi-Label (Kenji/Blue Combo Ranger) didn’t talk with anyone much as he was very reserved; Freddy J. Fox (Fox/Red Combo Ranger) and Federico do Roseiras (Kiko/Green Combo Ranger) treated her like a nerd; and Teresa Cherrouse (Tati/Pink Combo Ranger) was always rude to her and made her feel insecure.
It was also around this time that Wendy began going through puberty, earlier than any average Salacian female. As her voice and appearance changed, the production team realised that Wendy no longer reflected her initial appearance. For the fourth season, Combo Rangers Zero, Lisa became the team’s tech support and her place as the Yellow Combo Ranger was given to the character of Maya Cooper. However, later on, as others noticed Wendy’s attraction to other girls, the crew harassed her to the point that she decided to leave the series. Unfortunately, Wendy found herself being typecast as she was unable to take off her career as an actress.
Over the years, Wendy’s body began to mature, giving her a beautiful figure and slender appearance. Eventually, in 1993 at the age of 22, she managed to get her own children’s program for which she made her own swordfish costume. The program was produced by legendary child actor Marshall Hellander, who told Wendy that she would play a tender and adorable girl, but her appearance and skimpy outfit brought complaints from parents. On top of that, Marshall stalked and sexually harassed Wendy, threatening to fire her and cancel her show if she sued him. Wendy went so far as to sleep with Marshall to keep her show on the air, but when she fell pregnant and refused to get an abortion, Marshall fired her and cancelled her show. Luckily, Wendy had enough money to get her through her pregnancy.
After the birth of her daughter, Amanda, Wendy went back to being an entertainer, performing in carnivals and parties. One day, she received a call from Swordfish Queen Pietra, recognising her as the actress who played her daughter’s favourite character and wanting to hire her for her 8th birthday party. Wendy accepted and went to the Swordfish Palace with her team, but Pietra was shocked by her appearance and tried to ask her to leave. Marli liked her, however, so Pietra relented and let Wendy perform.
A year later, Wendy met Marli again, this time accompanied by a little baby she had never seen before. Marli recognised her too and they became close friends. Marli also introduced Wendy to Miss Marla so she could have another royal friend. After Marcos’ crimes and mistreatment against Marli and Pietra were discovered (leading him to be exiled from the Swordfish Kingdom as a result), Wendy felt sympathy for Marli and visited her more often.
Gradually, Pietra began feeling attracted to Wendy, admiring how beautiful she was and realising that she was hiding her feelings for her for some time. One day, they managed to be alone in the Swordfish Palace when Marli had to go out just as Wendy came to visit. As they interacted, Pietra and Wendy realised that they had a lot in common and they confessed to each other. The two later came out to the other kings and queens and Wendy would become the Swordfish Queen (alongside Pietra) and live in the Swordfish Palace with Amanda, finally getting the happiness she always wanted.
Personality
Wendy is a nice, optimistic and happy woman with a good heart who is almost never seen upset, at least on the outside. She may seem fun and exotic, but while her shy and quiet self shines through sometimes, she is eventually able to open up her true feelings. Many consider Wendy an extremely attractive woman and although she is aware of this, she is quite modest with her figure and doesn’t boast about it to others.
After giving birth to Amanda, Wendy began to doubt that she was capable of continuing as a children’s entertainer, though she regained her confidence after some time as a carnival dancer. Being a mother, she knows how to deal with children and entertain them, becoming a maternal figure to many boys and girls. She also likes company, which is ironic since throughout her life, she did not have many real friends who weren’t coworkers.
Appearance
Age 9-11: Wendy was a thin looking girl of short stature. Like most children, her head was large and round and her brown hair reached below her shoulders in curls with darker brown touches. She also had a small nose, emerald blue eyes and wears round glasses. Her most iconic piece of clothing that she wore as a child was a short sleeveless yellow shirt that showed her midriff, an explorer’s vest, brown shorts, a black belt and brown shoes with white socks. As she went through puberty, her body became more curvaceous which made her clothes become tighter and revealed too much of her body.
Age 12-19: During her adolescence, her body continued to change as she grew up. Her legs accumulated fat even though she was very athletic and her hair gradually became orange over time which she tied into a ponytail.
Age 20-36: Her body became completely developed in her 20s, becoming a voluptuous woman with a thick waist and legs along with a thin stomach and torso. Her hair is light orange with blonde touches and a lock of grey hair. She wears a beige sleeveless blouse that leaves her stomach exposed, tight shorts in a light brown colour, green and pink bracelets on her arms and brown sandals.
When she was the presenter of her children’s program, she wore a self-made costume with a green, yellow and light brown bikini, gold bracelets, a gold necklace with three blue jewels, golden heart-shaped earrings, dark green sandals with ribbons on her legs and a swordfish ornament as a festive crown. She would continue wearing this costume when she worked as an entertainer.
Relationships
With the cast of Combo Rangers: Much of her relationship with the cast of the show has already been detailed in her history. She never had any contact with the cast after leaving the series, though she looks back on her time as the Yellow Combo Ranger fondly. In 2010, she enjoyed watching the 30th anniversary special, Once & Always: Combo Rangers Forever, even though it was widely panned by fans and critics.
Pietra: Wendy and Pietra met by accident when the latter hired the former to perform at Marli’s 8th birthday. Later on, they would get to know each other and eventually become a couple.
Marli: Wendy gets along quite well with Marli, sympathising with her situation after Marcos’ exile.
Curiosities
- Her design is influenced from certain dancers and presenters on children’s shows in Brazil and Latin America (most notably Xuxa) who unconsciously look attractive as they tend to wear revealing clothing.
- If Wendy lived on Dryland, she would be a woman of Brazilian ethnicity.
- Her child design uses that of “Combo Ranger Lisa” from The Pirates. This episode would not be canon in the Liamverse and those children would be the child actors on the Salacian Combo Rangers adaptation.
- Wendy’s experiences on set were based on those of David Yost, who played Billy, the original Blue Power Ranger. David Yost revealed years after leaving Power Rangers that he left due to harassment from the crew over his sexuality.

Luisa is the Squid Princess, daughter to the Squid King and Queen and the cousin of Polvina, the Octopus Princess.
History
Luisa lives in the Squid Kingdom located in the Farlands. From time to time, her family and Polvina’s family will go to each other’s kingdoms to visit them. She is a naive girl who is very happy and enthusiastic. She loves playing with the squids and octopuses, particularly alongside her cousin Polvina.
Although she was not interested in love at first, she would fall in love with Flying Fish Prince Troy. Troy was not interested in Luisa because of her childish appearance but he would come to fall in love with her.
In some continuities, Luisa and her family lived in the metropolis while the family of one of the kingdom’s retainers acted as their decoys following an incident with the Mermaid Kingdom when Luisa’s father, Cesar, was young. Cesar and Petra returned to the throne after the last decoy died in battle against the Drylanders. The decoy’s daughter left the Squid Kingdom and became a mercenary to take revenge against her father.
In the series
Luisa is mentioned in Chapter 2 of A Shadow in the Water when Polvina tells Ester and Tubarina about the differences between octopuses and squids as they were doing their homework.
Appearance
As Luisa was only mentioned in the book, she never had an official design, giving the reader free interpretation of what she could look like. As such, this post describes Liam’s version of the character. Luisa was first imagined as a 12-year-old girl with tanned skin and her colours being fuchsia and violet, but that was given to her mother Petra.
Beta version: Luisa is a small girl with a thin appearance and her colours being orange and yellow. She wore a crown of an orange squid with its head up, long tentacles reaching below her shoulders that also serve as her hair, and small tentacles that serve as bangs. She also has light orange eyes, freckles on her cheeks, a tube top and a skirt of orange tentacles with dark orange touches.
Current version: Luisa retains her light orange design but the yellow and dark orange touches are changed to brown. Her hairstyle and clothing was changed to be similar to Polvina’s. Her eyes are now brown and she no longer has freckles (it was originally planned to be carried over but due to neglect it was better to remove them instead).
Curiosities
- Luisa, along with Caramelo, Aldo, Ayrton and the Abysmal King and Queen, were 6 characters in the books who did not have official designs. Caramelo would be given an official design in the animated series.
- Luisa and Marcela are the cousins of Polvina and Tubarina who never appeared in the series; Marcela was not mentioned in the books before she was replaced by Marcello in the animated series.
- In the Liamverse continuity, she is the best friend to Hammerhead Shark Princess Marcela and Rainbow Fish Princess Queen. Their group would be the Farlands counterparts to the main girls, Polvina, Ester and Tubarina, the only difference being that Queen is not Ester’s cousin.
- A redesign is currently being considered so as to make her look less childish.
- Despite being young and sweet, she can get defensive if anyone makes her angry or bothers her loved ones.

Ramon and Ramiro are the twin Blue Tang Princes, sons to the Blue Tang King and Queen and the older brothers to Princess Bethany.
History
Ramon and Ramiro are identical twin brothers who seem very different from each other, yet are almost the same. They both like to do different things, with Ramon being more studious and Ramiro being more physical. They both love playing pranks and playing with their little sister Bethany.
Ramon and Ramiro would meet and fall in love with the twin Clownfish Princesses Juli and Jessie. However, when the twin Seahorse Princesses, Alicia and Anna, came from the Farlands, they fell in love with the twin boys. This led them to struggle whether to be with the Clownfish or Seahorse Princesses, but in the end, they decided to enter polyamourous relationships, with Ramon being with Juli and Alicia; and Ramiro being with Jessi and Anna. In the future, the twins would have children with their wives.
Personality
The boys have different interests but they are the same in terms of personality.
Appearance
Despite being identical twins, they have characteristics that differentiate them; Ramon and Ramiro are of average height with thin build, round faces, small noses, blue eyes and red hair with bangs and mullets. They wear their blue tang crowns on their heads and they wear blue, yellow and black shorts. What differentiates them both is that Ramon has glasses and Ramiro has freckles on his cheeks.
Relationships
Juli and Jessi: Ramon and Ramiro are very nice to Juli and Jessi as they make them laugh and they like to play with them.
Alicia and Anna: As with Juli and Jessi, Alicia and Anna get along very well with the boys and are very close with each other.
Bethany: Bethany loves her older brothers very much and likes to play with them.
Curiosities
- Ramon and Ramiro are the third set of twin OCs following Jason and Jacob (the uncles of Juli and Jessi) and Alicia and Anna.
- They are both in a polyamorous relationship with two sets of twins, which some may find strange.

Vivtor is the current Jellyfish King, husband to Jellyfish Queen Victoria, father to Princess Vivi and grandfather to Sting.
History
Vivtor was born in 1962. Being five years older than most of the kings and queens, he practically spent part of his childhood without many friends, spending his time reading comics and listening to rock and roll music, his favourite genre that he discovered thanks to his father. His first friend was Prince Andy who is also five years older than the other kings.
Due to the circumstances of his cohort, he would not attend school until the age of 11 when the other princes and princesses were old enough to attend as well. At school, he would meet Turtle Prince Taigo and they would become best friends to the present day. He was a very joking and sarcastic boy who would play pranks on his friends. Later on, he fell in love with the Jellyfish Princess Victoria; although they were both very different, they both had a lot in common. They would get married and become the rulers of the Jellyfish Kingdom, later having a daughter who they named Vivi. Vivtor would teach Vivi some of the pranks he used on his friends.
Vivtor and Taigo remained good friends even as they became fathers. Taigo and his wife, Harmony, became the godparents to Vivi while Vivtor and Victoria became the godparents to Taigo and Harmony’s twins, Tata and Hugo. Likewise, Vivi and Tata became best friends.
Vivtor’s joking attitudes continued to extend to the other kings in adulthood, giving other kings nicknames much to their chagrin:

Penguin King: Sebastian (butler)
In return, others like to call Vivtor old despite being five years older than the other kings. Despite this, he is generally friendly and he harbours no bad intentions.
In the series
Although Vivtor was never featured in the animated series proper, he was mentioned at one point and his influence also extends to a couple of other episodes:
The Argument: Vivtor and Victoria are mentioned by the Shark and Starfish Kings as they agreed with the kings’ idea of building a new playground near the Jellyfish Palace and they enjoyed the company of children. Upon hearing that the Shark and Starfish Kings argued over an apparent disagreement when they actually agreed all along, Vivtor was quoted as saying, “The fuck were you arguing about?”
The Trick: As stated, Vivtor taught Vivi many pranks which she would play on her friends, including Polvina, Ester and Tubarina, which is shown in the episode.
The Itchy Wrists: One of Vivtor’s hobbies is to tattoo himself with his personal skin painting maker. One day, Vivi stole the maker, unbeknownst to him, and gave other princesses skin paintings behind Big Nose Rock. However, due to Vivi’s inexperience with the maker, not knowing how it works and not knowing the proper aftercare procedures, the skin paintings caused the princesses to itch terribly. After a while, Vivtor would realise that his skin painting maker had gone missing and only found out when word got around that Vivi gave other princesses skin paintings. Vivtor severely punished Vivi upon discovering the truth for himself.
Vivtor later discovered that Vivi was in love with the Lionfish Princess Lia and would accept their relationship without any problems. He also learnt that Vivi and Lia wanted to have a baby and that Maurico would be the donor, meaning that Vivtor would become a grandfather to their son and the future heir of the Jellyfish Kingdom, Sting.
Personality
Vivtor is generally a very friendly and good-natured man on top of being a proud joker and father. He does not have many problems with the other kings except for the harsh comments and mild mockeries he makes of them. It is not a good idea to mess with him when he is angry because he becomes a completely different man, being creepily serious and somewhat aggressive, though he would never hurt his friends or family.
Relationships
Turtle King Taigo: Vivtor and Taigo have been very good friends since they were very young, loving and respecting each other over the years.
Vivi: Vivtor and Vivi have a good father-daughter relationship, loving and respecting each other a lot. Vivtor always wants to make Vivi happy and so he spoils her from time to time.
Appearance
Vivtor is a man of tall stature and muscular build (his muscles are not noticeable due to the thick clothes he wears) with tanned dark skin. He has a firm face with some wrinkles (not noticeable due to his facial hair), a recessed nose and full brown eyes with black eyeshadow. He has a long black beard with some grey hair and he has a small tattoo above his eyebrow that is not visible without his crown. Vivtor has a shaved head like his entire family, a tradition passed down from his ancestors with their crowns acting as artificial hair. As such, he wears a very long red jellyfish crown that serves as his hair covering his ears, making it resemble a rockstar hairstyle from the 70’s.
Vivtor wears an all-black outfit with a shirt, pants held with a black belt and jellyfish symbol, shoes and leather trench coat with some grey touches and gold touches on the cuffs. Among his accessories he wears silver or gold rings, fingerless gloves, silver or gold necklaces and pendants, plus he also has tattoos on his body. He is constantly told by others that he looks like a rock star and many consider Vivtor the most stylish king in Salacia.
Skills
One of Vivtor’s skills is the Jellysting Arts, which he uses to shock the enemies he touches. The effect is more similar to the electric currents of the electric eels than the venomous stings of jellyfish. Aside from that, Vivtor is not very good at physical combat and he usually fights with weapons.
Vices
Among Vivtor’s vices is smoking shisha, or at least something resembling it made of hallucinogenic herbs and algae, a vice which he shares with Shai and Wagan. He also likes to drink beer. Vivtor is also known to be very sexually active with his wife as they like having intimate relations together.
Curiosities
- Vivtor is a big fan of rock and roll and he bases his appearance on 70’s rockstars. Some of his favourite artists include The Rolling Stones, Slash and Ringo Starr.
- As previously stated, the Jellyfish Royal Family shaves their hair and uses their crowns as artificial hair. This is similar to what Egyptian families did back in the days of Ancient Egypt.
This becomes hilarious in hindsight when you consider that Tubarina proposed putting octopus ink in Vivi’s shampoo so that her hair would turn blue, presuming that she, Polvina and Ester didn’t know about this. Vivi and her family presumably wouldn’t need to bother with shampoo, but it’s not like they couldn’t put it in her body wash so that it would stain her skin.
- The character of Vivtor was invented in 2016 as a villain, having different names including Ares, Negan and simply The Devil.
- Vivtor is usually a cheerful man with a smile on his face, but when he gets serious, he becomes creepily serious, making people uncomfortable as they prefer him as a joker.
- The Jellyfish Royal Family is based on an Egyptian family.

Merlo is the Hake Prince, son to the Hake King and Queen and the boyfriend of Matilda.
History
Merlo was born on 2 November 1997 and had a relatively easy upbringing as the crown prince of the Hake Royal Family. At the age of 4, he would meet his best friends Veto, Dylan and Wilmer and they would go to the same boarding school together. While he is good with girls, no princess at his school would pay attention to him or his friends.
One day, Merlo and his friends decided to visit Veto’s sister, Tubarina, at the Sea School, where they would also meet her friends and other princesses. It was there that Merlo would meet Hawkfish Princess Matilda, a very beautiful princess with caramel skin like himself. Taking a liking to her, the two of them became friends and eventually, they became a couple.
Merlo’s tastes include listening to music and wanting to be part of a boy band with his friends.
Appearance
Merlo is a prince of medium height and thin build with some muscles; black hair tied in braids; grey eyes; metal earrings; a light blue, turquoise and light grey hake crown on his head; black bracelets on his wrists, a grey sweatshirt and darker grey shorts.
Relationships
Matilda: Merlo and Matilda met when he visited the Sea School with his friends. They eventually became a couple who love each other and are mutually fond of each other.
Dylan/Veto/Wilmer: Dylan, Veto and Wilmer are Merlo’s best friends. The four of them get along very well and are very close.
Curiosities
- Merlo is the only one among his friends who does not have imperfections in his teeth.

Sea Princesses: Into the Liamverse Part 10: Axolotl Princess Katrina
This is another Liamverse character created by fan pulpina amiga/Pulpina Eg mlp, a newcomer to the Liamverse. You’ll forgive me if things seem a bit all over the place because the creator repeatedly deleted and reuploaded their posts featuring Katrina, editing the design and description each time, so the character description is a combination of what I gathered up to a certain point. Like seriously, make up your mind lol.
Further instalments of this series will be produced when Liam or his fans publish descriptions for more OCs.

Personality
Katrina is a kind and friendly princess, however she is Marcello’s rival due to him making fun of her, calling her nicknames like “Katri” or “little princess”. Deep down, Katrina loves her friends and gradually, she becomes affectionate towards Marcello. Katrina is extroverted, kind and cute, however she can also be naive. Although she is best friends with Polvina, the same can’t be said for Ester and Tubarina particularly after the events of The Argument.
Katrina is an only child who never knew her parents. When she was a baby, Katrina’s mother, the Axolotl Queen, became obsessed with Drylander culture and abandoned her baby daughter to live on Dryland. As a result, Katrina’s father, the Axolotl King, was executed by the Shark King Trebon and Katrina was placed in the care of a family whose father was later revealed to be one of Bonnie’s sons. She would later be informed of her identity as a princess and enrolled as a student at the Sea School.
Relationships
Polvina: Polvina is Katrina’s best friend and would never take advantage of her, always supporting Polvina and defending her if anyone tried to hurt her. They met each other from the first day of school and became friends since then. In The Diary, she joined in the search for Polvina’s red notebook. In The Argument, Katrina defended Polvina during the events of said episode, which made her feel bad even though she wasn’t at fault for anything. In Stage Fright, she worked with Ester and Tubarina to help calm Polvina down when she got stage fright.
Ester/Tubarina: While Katrina has interacted with Ester and Tubarina, she doesn’t like how they take advantage of her and Polvina at times.
Marcello: Katrina first met Marcello during the events of The Royal Ball, where she falls in love with him at first sight and introduces herself to him. Their rivalry started sometime following the events of The Gift, where she heard Marcello badmouthing girls and berates him so fiercely that Polvina and her friends had to calm her down. It calmed down gradually over the events of the second season; during Marcello’s coral-induced coma dream as shown in Grow Up, Katrina was shown to be in love with the heavily-muscled Marcello. In reality, Katrina helped take care of Marcello while recovering from his injury in said episode. Katrina loves Marcello for being a bad boy and is the only one who likes Marcello’s victory dance as shown in Ester’s Fear. In The Scare, Katrina sat behind Marcello, clinging onto him as she and her friends listened to his scary stories.
Elektra: Katrina met Elektra during the events of The Return. She was initially suspicious of Elektra due to her interactions with Marcello, but Katrina would overcome those suspicions and become friends with Elektra. This was because Marcello never had any other interactions with Elektra aside from in The Return.
Isa: Isa lives far away from Salacia and so does Katrina. The two of them connected over this and because Katrina is an only child, she considers Isa her little sister and loves her as such.
Curiosities
- Katrina becomes jealous towards Socita after she learned that Marcello took a liking to her in The Piano Lesson.
- She is rather intelligent, similar to Polvina but more so the character of Blu from Rio
- She hates Carlos because he is a bully
- Aside from Isa, Katrina sees Delfi as an older sister
- She compares herself to Courtney (who tf is Courtney?) but the difference is that Katrina is calm and not bossy
- She doesn’t know how to dance (as some would say, she dances like she has two left feet)
- She is able to defend himself with fighting skills

Dylan is the Porpoise Prince and boyfriend to Delfi, the Dolphin Princess.
History
Dylan is the only child of the Porpoise Royal Family. At the age of 4, he met his best friends, Veto, Wilmer and Merlo, and they did things together. Soon after, Dylan left with his family to travel all over Salacia and Dryland, during which they met Delfi and the Dolphin Royal Family. Their families became good friends and Dylan stayed in contact with Delfi as penpals, meeting each other every once in a while. At some point the two of them became a couple.
After Dylan returned from his travels, he rejoined his friends at the same boarding school Veto attended. He became one of the most popular princes at school due to his attractiveness. His dream is to become a doctor of marine animals, although another one of his dreams is to be a singer and form a boy band. Despite being popular at school, he could not find a girl who wanted him since the other princesses at his school are arrogant on top of the fact that he is not as intelligent. He doesn’t face as much pressure at school compared to Veto, who had to take up sports due to the influence of his sports-mad father, the Shark King, or Wilmer for being unable to tame the moray eels.
One day, Dylan was playing basketball with his friends when Delfi came to him in a panic alongside Polvina, Ester and Tubarina, asking him for help with a porpoise about to give birth. When Delfi introduced Dylan to her friends as her boyfriend, Ester and Tubarina had their doubts due to his lack of intelligence and laid-back nature, but after Dylan helped the porpoise, they gradually began to accept him.
Personality
Dylan is a kind-hearted boy who treats his friends well. He is usually calm and relaxed and does not fight with anyone unless someone bothers him or his friends. He loves his loved ones very much and will do whatever it takes to protect them. Aside from Veto, Wilmer and Merlo, Dylan prefers to be friends with people younger than himself like Delfi and her friends, acting as an older brother figure to them.
Relationships
Delfi: Dylan and Delfi are the perfect couple for each other. The both of them can be a bit cloying to others by showing a lot of affection but they behave like older figures to others. They are sometimes nicknamed the Barbie and Ken of Salacia.
Veto: Veto is probably Dylan’s closest friend out of his group as the both of them are almost always together, like the same things and pamper their girlfriends. They are also known as the “pretty boys” of the group.
Wilmer: Dylan and Wilmer are very close friends as they both have different tastes in music (Dylan liking 2000’s music and Wilmer liking 80’s music), but they like listening to each other’s favourite genres and they both want to start a boy band when they grow up.
Merlo: Dylan and Merlo are very good friends who like reading literature and playing basketball.
Polvina: Dylan and Polvina have a good brotherly relationship as Dylan treats Polvina like a younger sister, Polvina seeing him as the brother she never had.
Appearance
Dylan is a boy of tall stature and strong build. He has a round face almost like that of a model’s, medium nose, dark brown hair forming a fringe on his forehead and braces on his teeth (due to him hitting his mouth on the ground numerous times while skateboarding). He also has two metal earrings in his ears, he wears a medium grey sweatshirt with a zipper and hood, a black collar with metal hook, dark grey pants and his porpoise crown.
Curiosities
- Delfi was originally paired with Maurico due to the creator’s preference of blonde/Afro-American ships, but Dylan ended up being created as Delfi’s love interest based on a model from the music video of the song Take Me Away by Tany Vander.
- Dylan and two of his friends have imperfections in their teeth:
