#sdra2 spoilers under cut

Note
Hihi! I have a request! Fem! Ready with the Sdra2 girl cast with a S/o that dies in the place of their best friend while trying to save them. Basically the Peko/Fuyuhiko trial. (If they live or die is up to you!)
Alright! I made the best friend part of void, sorry if that wasn’t what you wanted. Hope you enjoy!
Other void members are referenced so under the cut for spoilers!!
Setsuka Chiebukuro:
"I'm sorry, F/n. I hoped this wasn't the case, but..."
She feels hurt knowing F/n was a void, but is able to accept it rather quickly. She's more worried about you, knowing how close the two of you had been. Setsuka gently tries to convince you of the truth, comforting you every chance she could.
When you break into tears, she's right there by your side. Setuka would like to get answers from F/n, but she'll wait for someone else to question them. Right now, you needed her more.
She holds your hand as the two of you exchange goodbyes, exchanging a few words with F/n herself. Setsuka feels a bit hurt, but she knows there must be a reason that F/n would do something like this.
She's so caught up in her own investigation that she doesn't notice your hand slip out of hers.
"N/n... you shouldn't watch, we can-...N/N..!?"
She wants to run after you, but a part of her knows that you're already gone. Setsuka yells for you to come back, and stay out of Monocrow's way, but it was too late.
She forces herself to look away, the sounds of your blood splattering making her stomach churn. If only she payed a little more attention... she could've saved you. And if she figured out that F/n was a void, she could've avoided this whole nightmare in the first place.
Everything hurt, but Setsuka refuses to break down, offering her comfort to the others instead. She had to bite her lip to stop herself from crying, telling the others that she will avenge you, and everything would be alright.
It might've been more convincing if she believed it herself.
Teaming up with Nikei and F/n, Setsuka creates her own investigation for answers, promising herself that she won't rest until she's uncovered Mikado's plan and stopped the killing game once and for all.
She just wishes that you could've been here with her.
Hibiki Otonokoji:
"H-Huh!? Hey! Are we sure F/n's the killer? I-I mean... one of you guys must've made a mistake somewhere!"
She won't believe it until Sora explains the case from start to finish. As it all finally sinks in, that a good friend of hers and your best friend was a traitor the whole time... she's pissed, not hesitating to lash out at F/n.
"Stupid Void!! I thought you were our friend!" It hurts her, and she wants to cry, but she keeps an aggressive front. Together, the two of you will cry and mourn in your room later, both of you comforting each other.
At least... that's what she thought would happen. She's taken by complete surprise when you run after F/n to the execution grounds, and Kanade has to hold her back from impulsively running after you.
She screams, crying and cursing at everything and nothing. Kanade for holding her back, Monocrow for executing you, Mikado for being the mastermind, and you for doing something so stupid. Setsuka and Kanade try to calm her down, but she hits and kicks at them weakly, just wanting to run to you.
Kanade was still holding her back as the execution continued, but it felt like she was forcing her to watch the spectacle. As blood pooled around your body, Hibiki's whole mind went numb before-
...
...
She awoke in Setsuka's arms, who had pulled her out of Kanade's grip. Hibiki noticed everyone giving her sorrowful stares, and she looked around in confusion, "...Huh? Why's everyone crying? Y/n, what's-...Where's Y/n...?"
She doesn't remember the execution, her memory going blank after F/n's reveal. Hibiki is in complete denial for a while, your death only sinking in when Kanade practically yells it to her.
She feels the numbness chill her head again, and Kanade can only laugh as she finally gets the puppet she always wanted.
Iroha Nijue:
As another member of void, she knew this would have to happen eventually, as much as she didn't want it. Iroha honestly thought it was Nikei for most of the trial, but her mouth dropped open in shock as Sora confirmed it was F/n.
It was their turn already!? Why... why couldn't your trio last just a little longer?
She was probably crying harder then you, the three of you holding each other sobbing, not wanting to let go for even a moment.
She wrapped her arms around you, falling to her knees as F/n is pulled away from you. Her eyes are clamped shut from the tears, and it's not until she fells the absence of your warmth and the frantic calls of your classmates that she realizes something is horribly wrong...
"...Eh? Y/N! What are you doing!? S-Stop!!"
Her whole body trembles, shaking and crying as you run after F/n. She internally begs for her luck to take effect, or anything to happen so you don't meet Hajime's fate. Iroha wants to hide her face in her sketchbook, but she can't look away.
Her legs collapse from beneath her as blood pours from your head.
Nononono... you weren't supposed to die...
She locks herself in her room, drawing every memory that came to mind. F/n tries to talk to her, but she avoids them.
Iroha wants more than anything to betray Mikado, and make him pay for what he did to you... but she doesn't have that courage. All she can do is cry as Mikado intimidates her into compliance, wallowing in her own self-pity.
She's scared... she's so scared...
She just wants to hold you, but is left with nothing except memories and despair.
Emma Magorobi:
She knew it was F/n's turn to kill, but that didn't make it any easier, knowing her S/o was about to witness the death of their best friend, and eventually, Emma's own death.
Emma didn't need to act or create tears to fake cry, as seeing both of your reactions was heartbreaking enough for her. Ever since Mikado's betrayal and Hajime's death, combined with meeting the love of her life, Emma was on the fence about void for a while, but this...
She wasn't sure she could murder after this. She couldn't put you through that.
She didn't create a scene, wrapping her arms around you and assuring you that everything would be alright, and the two of you would get through this.
That was the part where she had to act, and even then, it was hard to keep her voice from breaking.
She squeezes your hand as you and F/n say your final words to each other, before giving F/n a hug of her own. F/n whispers for her to take care of you, and Emma could only nod as they're dragged away, both completely clueless about what you were about to do.
"...I'm sorry, Emma."
"...Y/n...? What do you-..Y/N!"
She cries out your name, reaching out her hand and running after you. A part of her knows it's futile, but that doesn't stop her from kicking and yelling when the others hold her back.
Emma finally had something good in her life that didn't come from her divine luck. She didn't care if Utsuro came back anymore, and the blessing she had could disappear completely for all she cared. Her father was probably dead after all, and life on the streets wouldn't be nearly as devasting with you by her side.
As she watches you get impaled, dying in F/n's arms, she feels that familiar pain. The pain she'd feel nearly everyday when her father used her arms as an ashtray.
But that pain wasn't on her arms anymore, it was burning deep inside her heart.
If F/n survived, the two of them will rebel against Mikado, and end his plan once and for all.
Or die trying. At least then Emma would be able to see you again.
Sora:
She felt terrible exposing your friend like this, but if she didn't, everyone would die.
That didn't make it any easier, sending off another thought-to-be-friend to their death, knowing they helped put you in this twisted game...
"Y/n... I'm sorry I have to do this."
You shake your head in denial, frantically looking for evidence, but refusing to snap at your girlfriend. When Sora's argument comes to a close, you were already sobbing. She can only hold you, apologizing and whispering words of comfort in your ear.
She let you go to say your final goodbye, and gently asked if they wanted to say anything else, about Void or the killing game. F/n shook their head, moments before being dragged away, and Sora prepared to hold you again, only to be hugging empty space
"..!? Y/n!?"
She desperately reaches her hand out to grab you, impulsively following you before Yuki and Shinji hold her back.
Sora didn't know anything about herself prior to the killing game, but you made it clear that she definitely wasn't part of void, never doubting her for a moment. She may have been an amnesiac, but she clearly remembers every moment she spent with you, the memories playing in her head on repeat as she watches you take your final breath.
She's yelling your name, and fighting back tears, wanting nothing more than to strange Mikado herself. Even if she struggles to look at F/n the same way, she blames Mikado for your death more than anyone else, snapping at him the moment he's in her sight.
Investigating as much as she can about void, Sora seems to distant herself from the others, only talking to F/n to question them. Mikado himself feels a bit perplexed, as she seems to be ignoring Yuki as well...
As she learns more and more about herself as the game continues, Sora imagines how you would've reacted, and things you would've said if you were still alive. The comfort it brings is almost worth the pain of remembering your death.
But nothing compares to her hatred of Mikado for doing this to you.
Yoruko Kabuya:
F/n... was apart of void?
She's angry at F/n, and scolds them a bit, but immediately drops it upon seeing you. If she felt betrayed, she couldn't imagine how you were feeling...
"Y/n...It's okay... You couldn't have known..!"
She hugs you, holding your hand as the two of you say your goodbyes. She wants to yell at F/n herself, and press them on void, but... you were taking this so hard already.
Yoruko can see that you're shaking, and she's a bit unsure of how to comfort you, but she never would have expected you to...
"Y/n...? Y/N! Wh-What are you doing!? Y/N!"
Yoruko screams, yelling for Monocrow to stop the execution. The bird is just as confused as she is, but does nothing to stop you.
Yoruko can't stop screaming for you and F/n. She couldn't lose the both of you. Not in the same day. She's a mess, crying and screaming your name as one of the machines lands the final blow on you. Even when you're long gone, the screams and tears won't stop.
She feels so useless... you did so much for her, and she couldn't repay you. Yoruko wants nothing but to apologize for every even slightly mean thing she ever said to you. She feels like a failure, as you deserved so much better than this...
She can't talk to F/n. She'll only start crying and yelling again. Instead, Yoruko stands to the side, numbly nodding her head as the others demand answers about void.
It feels like a part of her is still screaming.
Kanade Otonokoji:
"Y/n...don't you understand..? They're the killer....fufu..."
There's a few times during the trial where your sweet and innocent girlfriend turns... hostile, scolding you for not believing her, and getting mad whenever you hinted that she might be mistaken.
When F/n was officially voted as the blackend, your sweet girlfriend was back, comforting you and gently running a hand through your hair as you cried into her shoulder. Internally, she couldn't be happier, not having to be the one to kill F/n! Now, she just had to put up with your oh so sad goodbyes, and she'd have you all to herself!
But if Kanade had one fatal flaw, it was her own confidence. She was by all means a perfect human, being as strong as Hajime and as smart as Kokoro. If she had just paid a little more attention to you, instead of grinning at F/n's face of defeat, she might have been able to stop you.
She feels her heart stop when she realizes what you're doing, before Kanade takes matters into her own hands and goes to run into the execution grounds after you.
"N-No! Kanade!! Are you stupid!? I-If you go there, you'll-!" Hibiki grabbed her arm, already sobbing her eyes out. It was a sight that once would've pleased her, but not when it was the only thing keeping her from saving you.
"You think I don't realize that, Hibiki!? LET ME GO YOU LITTLE-..."
She cuts herself off as you give your final scream in pain. Kanade doesn't waste a second after that, shoving her sister aside and running to you.
She feels for your pulse, and upon not being able to find one, her world goes red.
It doesn't matter if F/n survived or not. If anything, it would've been less painful for them to die in the execution. Kanade doesn't care for answers about void, she wants revenge.
Ironically, watching F/n get slaughtered by her own sister pushed Hibiki to her breaking point. Kanade giggled a bit watching her sister become a doll, just like she wanted before she met you. It didn't matter anymore, as now she would be meeting you again.
Still laughing maniacally, she picks up the weapon that had taken your life, taking a moment to stare at it, before thrusting it into her own heart.
Kokoro Mitsume:
By the time the investigation ended, she was completely sure that F/n was the killer, but was conflicted on whether she should tell you. She watched your emotions throughout the trial, not denying when you asked her if she truly thought F/n was the killer
You knew Kokoro couldn't reveal too much, or she'd become a target, but you couldn't help but feel betrayed that she didn't tell you, or even warn you somehow that your best friend was a void.
She knew what you were thinking, and apologized,
"Y/n... I'm sorry. I had suspicions for a while now. But, I know F/n didn't want to do this, and they genuinely enjoyed your company."
She put a hand on your shoulder, concentrating on F/n's body language and emotions to deduce as much as she could about void's purpose and the killing game.
So much that she didn't notice your own emotions, and when she did, she didn't have enough time to figure out what you were about to do.
When she did, you were already out of reach...
Despite her quiet personality, she yelled your name.
Kokoro rarely felt emotions, originally surprising herself when she fell in love with you. As she saw you take a spear to the stomach, she felt a part of herself die with you. The feeling of her own stomach twisting in despair, and hot tears running down her face was something she never felt before...
Actions of love had always confused her, as it seemed to cause people contradict human behavior and even common sense, but as she fought back every urge to run to your dying body in that execution, she finally understood.
She'll never be able to look at F/n the same, even though she knows it's just an effect of memory association. It's funny... she knows the science behind it all down to the last neuron, but it doesn't stop her from feeling worse.
But if there's one thing Kokoro knows, it's that she'll be getting answers this time, whether F/n likes it or not.

I’m just gonna splurge some thoughts about the survivors that I need to get out of my head, feel free to ignore this I just need to ramble about them. Obvs spoilers for all of DRA and SDRA2 under the cut (it's long btw).
Usual preface, just my thoughts, not canon confirmation of anything, you're all allowed to tell me I'm wrong/disagree yada yada yada
So one of the things I both love and hate about the DRA survivors in SDRA2 is how little we know about them since the events of DRA. All we get are little quotes let slip from Teruya's POV (and later Rei). And at least in Teruya’s case they’re said so nonchalantly but are also kinda telling of their experiences as adults trying to fight against despair, and how each of them are as adults. This is mostly about what Teruya tells us about Rei and Kinjo, as we do see a lot of Teruya's own personality through the course of the game.
Let’s take some things Teruya says when told that Rei is dead in chapter 2 for example. Not only does he not believe them, but he’s insistent that a) Rei will have contingencies for this and b) they will be rescued.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The way he says it implies that things go wrong in their work, and frequently at that. Rei needs to have plans b, c, and d as plan a rarely goes smoothly.
Also, while you could take his second comment as "Rei survived a killing game too she wouldn't die so easily", considering his spotty memory of his own killing game it's more likely that they've all come near death multiple times since starting the foundation. Which makes sense, put three kids in a war (two of which don't have combat experience) and quite frankly it's a miracle they're not dead yet.
Tumblr media
Midori says something similar in the epilogue, so we can gather that people in the foundation do die often enough that it doesn't shock anymore. And by extension, the three of them have gotten injured or close to death themselves before.
I never noticed how calm he is about that statement about being rescued. He's confident. He's been captured before, perhaps a few of them have. And he has, at least, been rescued before.
I also find it kinda funny that at first when his memory of Kinjo is not all there he's still confident they'll be rescued. As time goes on and his memories of Kinjo return he loses hope. Just thinking on that.
Speaking of Kinjo, Teruya's comments of him are...interesting. When he doesn't fully remember him, he's kinda seen the same as Rei. He's confident in Kinjo and his ability to rescue them. But when he starts to get his memories back we get this wonderful snippet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh boy Kinjo. I guess he doesn't believe in rehabilitation at least.
So I think it's important to stress that Teruya truly believes that Kinjo is his friend, and I think that speaks a lot about what Kinjo is like day to day. He's not always how he is in chapter 6, I really don't believe that either Rei or Teruya would stick around for however many years if he was, boss or not.
Tumblr media
Especially Teruya, since in Kinjo's bad state he held a gun to Teruya's head and told him to pull the trigger.
It's kinda funny to think that both Rei and Kinjo have tried to kill Teruya. Rei ratted him out in chapter 4 solely to start a fight between him and Haru so they'd kill each other, and Kinjo obvs put a gun to his head. You need better friends /j
So Kinjo is probably relatively as he was in the foundation surrounded by good people (or just not criminals), and is much more ruthless out in the field. This is probably why Teruya and Rei scout on their own, perhaps they saw someone shot down who was just in the wrong place at the wrong time?
On a side note, I do wonder what Teruya is referring to here. There are a few things it could be tbh. Unlike the rest of the cast, he's not been reset in a past self so he knows that what he's seen is a memory, not a current thing. I think it's to do with his dad tbh, he's holding his scarf here after all (psst psst Linuj, when are you gonna tell us what happened there?)
Tumblr media
Anyway, back on track. So Kinjo probably isn't crazy all of the time. I personally think that he has good days and bad days and that his physical state is an indication of his mental state, but that's my head cannon I can't prove that.
Man looking through chapter 4 is painful. Am I the only one that thinks Teruya's dark sprites look kinda sad? Like he doesn't really want to do what he's doing. Which kinda makes sense when you think he's being manipulated by Nikei and the entire tower seems entirely set up to trigger him in the worst way possible.
It's at this point that he no longer believes that he's going to be rescued, despite what he tells the others. He believes Rei is dead and doesn't believe that Kinjo will come for him, which leads into something Rei says in chapter 6.
Tumblr media
Kinjo has left them for dead before, most likely both of them too. We know that Kinjo believes that the ends justifies any means and I think they have been on the receiving end of it.
But still, (I think) he wants to live, I've seen sometimes people say he's suicidal but I don't think that's the case. It's kinda telling that Yuki yelling "I'd rather die" triggers him enough to want to shoot him. It's only really later that he loses all hope and just kinda, snaps.
I know there's that one quote from chapter 6 he says, it always felt to me that he was just so cornered but still wanted to help, so he did the only thing he could. It does match something he says earlier in chapter 4
Tumblr media
I think he values his ability to successfully help others over his continued survival. He's kinda taken Satsuki's words too much to heart, I don't think that she meant for him to carry that guilt all those years.
There's probably an entire thing about his mental state in that chapter that someone could write but that's for another day. All I will say is I'm not too keen on chapter 4 as I felt the whole thing a tad contrived in order for the shock value to keep ramping after chapters 2 and 3.
Tumblr media
I guess the last thing we find out about Kinjo is he's changed in the last six months or so, and that was following him confronting his father. It's kinda implied that he's more distant from the other two since that event. Assuming that his contact with Syobai happened around this time, that explains why he would be distant from the other two, as he couldn't have anyone find out what he was doing.
That said, I have a head cannon that Teruya knew he was doing something fishy, but wanted to believe that he was doing it for the right reasons. You don't siphon off Syobai level fees from the company account without the accountant noticing. And considering Kinjo's attitude towards crime I can't imagine he's well versed in covering his tracks well enough to hide it from the ultimate merchant.
Also, that he seems to have trouble discerning the real Yuki from the one he met in the killing game. Despite that Yuki repeatedly telling him so and looking rather uncomfortable about it.
I hope that Linuj covers this in omake, it would be nice for him to have that closure.
I wanna say one last thing about Rei, since she's so underused this game it's actually criminal she doesn't get a lot of screen time or insight into her personality since DRA. We can tell that she's less curt, and more caring in her interactions in the prologue and chapter 6, and that in chapter 5 she's trying her absolute best to get Teruya out. But she still has her initial drive to survive above all else, which is why she keeps the exit code to herself.
But she's also still overconfident, she doesn't tell Teruya about the exit code because she's confident that she can get him out once she's out. And she definitely doesn't or he wouldn't react the way he does when she "dies".
"overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer"
And that's her downfall in the end, she's so confident that plan b, c, or d will work that she doesn't consider what will happen if she does fail.
Tumblr media
Last bit while I was looking at other stuff, while she is blaming Kinjo here I think she's also talking to herself. After all, she's the one who left him there without a contingency plan. As we saw before, he's always relied on her in these kind of scenarios.
It's kinda funny, the only person Kinjo saved was Rei, and the only person Rei saved was Yoruko. One each, out of 32.
Damn now I'm sad. Anyway, if you've read this far congrats I guess? As I said before this is just some personal thoughts, you are free to disagree. I just really like it when things are left open to interpretation. I love these three a lot.

as of now my top mastermind suspects are mark, desmond and ulysses n i think originally i was very very sure ulysses would be the mastermind but now i'm leaning towards more mark. probably because i was always suspicious of him before the prologue even released. it's a little embarrasing looking back but i tell you i was dead convinced he was evil and for the last question i just think people should be more suspicious of mark. come on. look at him. his ass is not just victim or survivor-who-gets-character-development-after-jett-dies. come on guys
fair enough! well then, hopefully you won't be upset that i left Desmond and Ulysses above Mark, at least. perhaps not so much Diana, Cassidy, and Toshiko, though. damn, do i just hate women? (/j)
i have to admit, i did initially peg (ha ha get it like p:eg) Mark as a survivor-who-gets-character-development-after-Jett-dies. but, i also think it's valid to think that, because a lot of people might have had that first impression, his character will actually go elsewhere. that line of logic was what made me change my mind about Diana, after seeing how many people thought she was the mastermind.
spoilers for DRA, DRDT (thus far), v3, SDRA2, THH, and SDR2 under the cut!
in my opinion, it's really hard to make theories about Eden's Garden-- or any fangan, really-- based off of the prologue alone, because we don't know what their writing style is going to be like. for example, we have no idea how they're going to treat their first victim.
do the writers plan on making a first victim out of an initially less important/highlighted character, like Linuj did with Kiyoka in Chapter 1 of DRA? it has the downside of sacrificing a character who hasn't really made much of an impact early on, but has the benefit of allowing yourself to really establish and focus on your most important/late game characters. if this is the case, we might have to worry about, i dunno, Kai or Ingrid, who didn't have particularly standout plot moments in the first chapter, being the first victim.
or, do the writers plan on making a first victim out of one of the characters that's gotten the greatest highlight so far, like DRDTdev did with Xander in Chapter 1 of DRDT? that has the upside of making sure that everybody knew his character and was invested in his story before he died, but had the downside of making his death more predictable, because he was "throwing up death flags" with all his content.
either option is entirely valid, and up to the discretion of the writers to decide what works best for the story we're crafting.
in DRA, Linuj decided to invest his resources into making Yuki, Akane, Tsurugi, Rei, and Mikako (and to a lesser extent, Teruya, Satsuki, and Haruhiko) the most interesting and best-developed characters he possibly could, and thus, decided to use the first trial as setup to Tsurugi's eventual delusions of grandeur by making Mitch intend to kill him. however, it does leave characters like Kiyoka, Mitch, Ayane, Kanata, and Kakeru relatively underdeveloped and forgettable (if you don't do their free times, anyways).
in DRDT, the dev clearly has an agenda about making sure that every character has at least one highly focal scene before they exit. Xander was Teruko's support throughout the entire prologue, and had multiple scenes of discussing the mastermind with Teruko alone; Min aided Teruko throughout almost the entirety of Chapter 1's investigation; Arei had a very memorable breakdown moment where she revealed a lot about her character. based on that history of writing, i'm less inclined to believe that someone like Hu, who we haven't focused on that much thus far, will be the killer, and more inclined to believe that a character that's been spotlighted in the ch2 daily life, such as Eden, Levi, Ace, or Whit, will be the killer.
obviously, we're not talking about the first victim here, we're talking about the mastermind. however, similar principles can apply. if p:eg's mastermind is in the game for the entire time, i have no clue if they'd be more of an over-the-top obvious mastermind like SDRA2's Mikado, or an under-the-radar camoflauged mastermind like v3's Tsumugi.
and, that's even assuming that the mastermind is one of the members of the cast! i don't think that's actually been confirmed yet. the mastermind could be a hidden/external threat like Junko in THH, or could be a forgotten side of one of the "innocent" participants like Hajime/Izuru in SDR2.
going back to my original post, a mastermind like Mikado could be someone like Wolfgang; a mastermind like Tsumugi could be someone like Mark; a mastermind like Junko could be, i dunno, Cara?; and a mastermind like Hajime could be someone like Damon. but, with only a prologue under their belt-- even if it is a prologue with a class trial in it-- it's hard to judge what sort of writing the writers will favor. the fact that there are multiple of them makes it even harder to determine.
this all was really barely related to your ask. i just wanted to write it out, as it's been on my mind for a while. thanks for bearing with me :,)

Rei Mekaru (and why I love her)
So i responded to someone’s instagram story, which was a picture of SDRA2 Rei, saying “hear me out” and that’s where it started.
Spoilers for both games under the cut.
cw for me simping over rei, abandonment, and both games’ chapter 6 trials
Okay. Okay. Not only is rei hot as hell, BUT. She is also quite fun to hurt. You can take her childhood, and how she was abandoned, and write/draw her suffering. You can also make her beat herself up. In this essay, I will explain how rei mekaru is the hottest and saddest bitch around
-
Rei Mekaru has had some of the best character development i've seen in anything danganronpa related(Besides DRDT). She starts off as mean, with a somewhat holier-than-thou behavior, one could say. There's not really a reason for this that we know, at first. She is a teacher type, so surely she should be nicer? Now, we enter her backstory. On her character sheet, and in part of DRA chapter 6, we are informed about what seems to have caused such behavior; Abandonment. Rei Mekaru was 'abandoned' by her parents at a young age. Growing up to hate them, and even plotting a name change due to the aforementioned hatred. Seemingly keeping it out of spite. She grows up, going to schools and supposedly getting into college early (as, I believe, you need some sort of college degree to become a teacher/professor). From my understanding, she teaches away from her home country for a while, unaware that her parents have been searching for her for years.
Sooner or later, Rei receives a letter of acceptance from Hope's Peak, and moves back to her home country. She attends Hope's Peak with her 16 classmates, and remains distant. Calling them all "incompetents" frequently. Enter, the killing game. Rei's memories are wiped, and she doesn't remember her classmates. Another character sheet implies there was an attempted KG beforehand, but, because Yamato Kisaragi still had his memories, it had to be stopped and started again. She blocks herself off from everyone, barely even showing grief at the deaths of her classmates. Only when Satsuki Iranami reveals the reason for Haruhiko kobashikawa's death, and allows herself to die, does Rei begin to let go of the beliefs that built up in her childhood. She works with the others, even making a slight invention of her own so she can talk to them about things Monokuma might not like. When Mikako Kurokawa dies, on top of Rei, it seems Rei is shaking up. Talking in a somewhat slower manner.
“This girl……… has died.” The text has a few ellipsis in it, showing quite a long pause. This possibly leaves her more shaken than before, but she tries her best now to show it. Who knows what thoughts were in her head? Someone just died on her, after all. And then, Akane Taira is revealed as the mastermind('s assistant). That must hurt. Rei trusted Akane, including her in one the daily group talks. Perhaps Rei is good at hiding up her emotions, because I think a lot of people would break down and cry on the spot. The final trial, is where we first learn of her past. And where Rei first learns she wasn't abandoned. Her parents were in large amounts of debt, and had left a very young Rei in the care of her Aunt and Uncle. however, her Aunt and Uncle never showed up. Her parents just wanted her to have a good life, but her other family members could care less about her. She finds out that her parents spent years looking for her, and possibly she imagined them sobbing and calling out for her, or possibly she's trying to say this is false. Utsuro finally ends it off, stating that Rei's parents eventually went to Junko in hopes that she would tell them that Rei is alive. Supposedly dying sometime after. Rei wants to know more, but Utsuro refuses. And Rei falls into despair. I think, the new information is what made her personality change so much, in SDRA2.
Now, we move on to Chapter 6.5 of DRA. Of course, we only see her in the last few moments, but there's still a noticeable change. Emotionally, she shows sadness slightly more. Physically, she has her hair chopped off, and different glasses. When Ryutaro Maki asks about his sister, she looks aside. Sad, it seems. Now, it's small and unimportant to mention, but it's the first glimpse we see of her personality change. (from sdra2, that is)
Onto SDRA2. We first see Rei in the prologue, with her raising a gun to shoot Mikado. She still has this somewhat harsh personality, but wants to save others more. She is soon sent into a blaze of orange, and we are made to believe that she is dead. Until sometime in chapter 4, I believe. In chapter 4, i believe, we get a slight cameo. We can only tell it's her, from the outline. It seems she thinks that she is talking to Teruya Otori. (I am unable to find the scene lmao) "Akane Taira is alive." She says. It's here, we get to know that Rei is still alive. The next time we see her, is (i believe) the very end of chapter 5. In the same room to greet Yoruko Kabuya and Iroha Nijue when they awaken. It's unimportant, but it's how we know that the last sighting wasn't an AI or some shit like that. Chapter 6 comes, and boy oh boy do I love it.
She's shown to beat herself up constantly. When Teruya is mentioned in one conversation, she begins insulting herself and even calls herself pathetic. Rei believes that she should've just died. Let herself turn to ash. That way, Teruya would still be alive. When kokoro was revealed as Mikako's mother, she quiets down. Is it from flashbacks of the DRA chapter 6 trial? Or is she just shocked, and unaware of what to say? Her new personality is flaunted in SDRA2's chapter 6, I suppose. We still do get the cop-mocking ginger every now and again, though. She seems more forgiving, and like she has finally seen that people aren't just yins and yangs. Even accepting that Sora isn't quite Akane, and asking if she can refer to Sora as 'Sora' at the end of chapter 6. even promising to try and help Yoruko and Sora meet again. possibly because she doesn't want to see someone sad over someone they cared for again.
She quite possibly cared for Teruya deeply, and he could've been emotional support. or maybe, just a coworker, but the tragedy has made her more vulnerable to emotions. Either way, it's shown that she is less closed off about her emotions. And, possibly, has a harder time with sadness. Leaving her open for attacks on her mental state. Hence why she's a more complex character, but more fun to hurt. (hence why we should always make her go through 70 stages of grief) p.s. she's also hot as hell but you didn't hear that from me

Sdra2 Teruya Otori x Male!Reader who's secretly a Void (only Mikado knows that the Reader is a Void) (5/7)
Ask by @ultimatesinger
angst at the end and violence for the poor Yuki Maeda.
spoilers for sdra2
-------
You are an idiot and a pervert. When there was the announcement of the party, you were already thinking of seeing the others completely drunk, naked dancing on the table. When Hajime one of your colleagues who doesn't know that you are revealed himself, you directly thought that he had done things before to Yuri, this poor ultimate astronaut. When Mikado, your boss introduced Teruya whom he had sent into the air like a rocket, tied in bdsm mod. You were already thinking about doing the same thing to him but you two are naked on your bed whipping him. When you saw Kokoro almost naked, freezing with severed hands on her bed, you thought someone had slept with her before. When Emma got executed, you think the monsters that did her didn't just cut into slices. In short, you are an idiot and a pervert.
At the trial of Setsuka's death, beheaded and placed on pillars in the creepy house where Yuki was beginning to accuse that the culprit is a void. Eventually you snap and say, “Seriously, do you still think only Voids do murder ?! Especially in a cruel and awful act. Yuki you disappoint me a lot, although not in fact, just connect your two neurons as quickly as possible, already that it barely prevents you from doing your business everywhere. You should really start doing something other than making your noodle !" Indeed, you did not like Yuki at all even if he was going to serve as a receptacle for your master Utsuro who saved you from your uncle who took you for a punching bag. In the end, this asshole's plan is perfect, it sacrifices Yuki and it allows you to regain your Divine Luck before it ends in Bad Luck no matter if the other Voids die of it. You'll kill Mikado anyway to gain access to Utsuro once the plan is complete.
Everyone is shocked at the cruelty of your words even though the first sentence is correct. Yuki: “But miss, are you a Void?! "How many times do I have to tell you I'm a guy?! Ok I'll start since apparently it doesn't fit in the empty space that is supposed to serve as your brain ! I am a dude ! I am a dude ! I am a dude ! I am a dude ! I am a dude ! And secondly I don't see how saying something logical is worthy of a Void. Is it because you think everyone here is stupid except the Voids? Or do you think everyone is as stupid as you and therefore all Voids are smart ?" Yuki is totally shocked now. “Now if you don’t have anything smart to say, shut up, it’s better. We are in a class trial not in a MED club with the king of morons. »
After the execution of the twins, Mikado your boss decided to take you aside to talk to you. "Remember that this kid is useful, don't treat him so coldly and be so cruel to him. "He deserves it, he's useless. Master Utsuro isn't that's why he's here otherwise I would have passed my hands under his totally fragile little neck until his eyes closed little by little and he was forever silent …. " You really hate him and you're still such an idiot and a pervert.
Teruya this little boy totally freaked out after Nikei revealed himself as a Void to only Shinji, the noodle, you, Yoruko, Mikado, Iroha and Sora and he locked everyone in the Tower of Babel. “What if we used the carcass of the noodle for warmth and food? Strangely no one agreed. Idiot and pervert once again and also a hell of a sadist. Yuki begins to not feel very good anymore, a sign that Utsuro will return. Eventually Shinji finally stopped the adorable asparagus with his body and everyone tied him up. “I propose that I take care of him. » you end up taking the poor former ultimate merchant in your arms before leaving with him without anyone being able to stop you then you have fun with him in a quiet corner with his consent of course, you are a sadistic idiot and pervert not a rapist.
Unfortunately, there was a murder on the ultimate firefighter and it ended up being revealed that Nikei manipulated everyone so that Yuki died executed for the death of his big brother except that the latter committed suicide after the passage of Sora to finish off the latter with the hand of the reporter who just freaked out with red eyes and the gun drawn. You end up standing in front of Nikei. "Stop it silly. he ends up aiming at you, his hatred is still just as undrinkable, a bit like his oversized ego. “Hmm? Do you want to take a bullet first?~ » you end up having red eyes before sticking a huge pie in his face to ring him and stop his nonsense except that in doing that he fired and you got caught bullet in the stomach also exploding his right hand, causing him to moan and cry in pain, lost. You end up falling to your knees, your eyes normal, blood flows from your mouth and your belly. You can barely breathe hoping that the remnants of Utsuro's Divine Luck can still save you from dying right away. Yuki is still in the same state, Yoruko is totally lost seeing knakies stolen, Sora is shocked, Teruya too: "(y-your first name) you're a-" you nod weakly, still losing as much of blood and you end up taking revenge on the journalist by planting a fork in his other hand before ending up falling to the ground, gradually closing your eyes while the asparagus came closer to you where he finally heard your last words: “I…. Loved you…..” before you breathed your last and Nikei ended up being executed for murder instead of breaking the rules.
Teruya ends up joining you in the murdered tomb along with his two best friends Haruhiko Kobashikawa and Satsuki Iranami after a few days of tension with the comrades in the city of Higa City. Idiot, sadistic, perverted and… endearing in a way for the former ultimate merchant.
END.

i like sdra2 but chapter 3 scarred me so bad that i remembered nothing aside from it abt my first playthrough
god yeah that one is. a lot. i mean its interesting i actually enjoyed it for what it was but its. a lot.
(gonna ramble about more thoughts on this trial under the cut, for anyone unfamiliar uhh spoilers obviously, also cw for talk of incest)
kanade's whole thing about being . yknow. eueuauuguh about her sister is super super uncomfortable and offputting but i hesitate to be super Mad at it bc i mean. i think being intensely uncomfortable is the point? yknow?
obviously when it first happened my kneejerk reaction was Gross Yuck Why Would You Put That In (and i still feel that to a degree) but at the same time its like. i feel like it is supposed to be a horror aspect. and not. like. a fetishization of twincest sort of thing. like youre very much not supposed to think anything kanade does or believes is... like... OKAY in any capacity shes never really depicted as anything other than a horrible monster (when the game touches on the gravity of the deaths of the others it even sometimes goes out of its way to say its a Good thing that kanade is. not. living anymore.) and the moments Hibiki has of lucidity shes obviously pretty horrified by the idea that kanade is anything other than her Regular and Normal sister.
i mean. im not gonna praise this inclusion. bc could it have been handled better? yeah. obviously it couldve. its still gross and makes me feel icky and very much couldve been removed entirely. but the thing about danganronpa as a whole is that you kinda have to go in expecting a little bit of garbage, yknow? i dunno. nuance or something. Being Critical Of Interests Or Something. speaking exclusively narratively i thought it was at least written better than whatever was going on with korekiyo (but again the bar is kinda on the floor for most things when it comes to comparing something to v3.)
the unfortunate part for me is my friend and i were voice acting the game on call together and towards the end i kinda just had to repeatedly go 'i am not saying that.'
though i will say, a twist on the third trial being a double Murderer case instead of a double victim case was interesting! its a neat twist even if the reason it works is a little contrived (but, i mean, again, its danganronpa, sometimes you just have to meet it on its level)
but also setsuka was my big favorite and i was VERY SAD WHEN SHE WAS GONE

Well I hope you're exam goes well! :D
Nice to be back, I think? Anyways
MIKAKO AND YAMATO IN SDRA2 LET'S GOOOO.
This would be so funny. Goodness they're gonna lose a bit of their memory again aren't they? At least they remember they're sibs!
The interactions though! That would be so much fun! Though how are they introduced? Like are they already there when the game begins? Happens during prologue? Etc etc?
- 4th anon :D
i think theyre already there, mikako for sure to parallel the "sora is woken up at the beach by the previous protagonist(?)" thing
YESS THE INTERACTIONS i already think about hibiki-setsuka-yamato trio they would be so fun and also. chapter 3 here is going to be so so so so heartbreaking (spoilers for that under the cut)
kanade tries to put her plan in action this time planning to kill both setsuka and yamato but thanks to the latters reflexes they dont get knocked out but after a bit of struggle and fighting back yamato accidentally causes kanade to sustain major injuries but in the end its setsuka who kills kanade to prevent him from becoming the blackened by becoming one herself

Warning for spoilers of SDRA2, Chapter 3+4 under the cut!
me during Chapter 3 investigation: WHO KILLED SETSUKA. IM NOT MAD I JUST WANNA KNOW.
me during Chapter 4 Daily Life: Oh!….This lore is AMAZING!!!
Besides that, the lore for the 2nd day of Daily Life is INSANE. Like are you telling me Nikei was actually the og leader of Void? And they weren’t inherently evil? (I mean, they commited crimes but nothing like murder [i think])
And we get all of the voids revealed before ch 6? Thats crazy.
Ive been enjoying this game so much though!!!
Im also lowkey hoping my theory happens. My idea is that the islands are based of the DRA killers but in reverse. On island 2, you have the Kurokawa Shrine and on island 3 you have Satsuki Land. My idea for island 4 is that I think its supposed to be somewhat “normal”. Like a small city. The major thing about it would be a beautifully made chapel with wonderful stained-glass windows. That would be so cool!!!
Or maybe it has stuff to hint at Inori and Yamaguchi as well…that would be super cool!!!

AU where the DFTH killers & victims were swapped-
oooooooohhhh this would be interesting
(spoilers under the cut obviously)
Oh dear god, chapter 1. O h d e a r g o d c h a p t e r 1 Uh. The only real way I can see Kaoru actually killing someone is accidentally. So maybe it could be like Saiko attempts to get him with the anaesthetic but Kaoru shoves him and accidentally hits him with a shelf or something hard enough to kill him. Idk I can't see Kaoru purposely attempting to murder. He's babey
so chapter 2 would be if what if Yuuma's plan actually worked. I can see that.
Chapter 3...Uh. Chapter 3 would be a bit harder to contend since Ahmya literally can't attack anyone because of her NG code, so either she has a different one and this is an SDRA2 chapter 3 situation, or Ayano isn't able to poison Amai in time and Ahmya puts her down and her code kicks off, leading Amai to be the only one still alive. But then again she wouldn't even be a killer so this one would be weird
Oh dear god, chapter 4. O H D E A R G O D C H A P T E R 4 …I've actually thought about this one before. It'd probably be like Kaoru's situation where the whole thing with Miko and Jasper happens, but Miko's actually nearby the room this time or something, and tries to stop Haruto from going inside when he realises what's going on. But then it finally clicks for Haruto that this is a trap and the altercation starts to get physical, and he accidentally shoves Miko directly onto Monokuma. The trial would be even sadder for this one T-T

Linuj Valentine's day Update
For Valentine's day, Linuj released a roulette featuring the SDRA2 girls (one gif, if you check it out, be careful, it's vv rapid flashing) handing you chocolates. I've screenshotted every result, and they will all be under the cut, so TW: for every single girl!
Updates: Linuj hopes to try and release a version with the boys for White Day, and has no news on the omake, but "hopes to have good news about it in the near future" Also, I can't seem to link the post? So I'll copy/paste it under the cut, before all the characters- it doesn't show the gif unless you click on the read more, so no need to worry about the flash. In the images, theres no spoilers, and I'll be uploading them in alphabetical order by last name- starting with Sora though, then moving on.

What would you think about the Kisaragi foundation if the entire gang survived DRA? Like the one image Linuj made.
Personally I think Mitch would get kicked out. Immediately.
I think about this a suprising amount, what if they all lived and had a The Office style sitcom/drama /lh
This is real long, I went a little crazy, obvs DRA/SDRA2 spoilers so under the cut
If they all got their memories back I might give him a week for that apparent off-screen character development /lh perhaps they keep him around just so Tsurugi can keep an eye on him/drop him in a jail cell.
If timeline AU is like one of my favourite AUs in DRA, especially if we say Utsuro/Akane survive and have the chance at redemption. You still get all the conflict of the setting with the disaster, you have the conflict between Utsuro/Akane v Yamato/Mikako/Tsurugi, some of the survivors potentially meeting their families, and then all of them essentially being thrust into being adults and needing to help provide relief for a ruined world.
I do seem to remember that Linuj has given everyone a role in that scenario, so assuming the wiki is correct we end up with a strike team and an office team (and management I guess, they'd probs be "you should be in the office" but don't).
Office team: - Rei | intel network, imagine like the people who try to predict and prevent terror attacks - Teruya | finance, probs also works with Haru to manage supplies - Mikako | counsellor, also works on all the management stuff that Yamato isn't fixated on, and drags Tsurugi to therapy - Kizuna | receptionist (really Linuj? She'd be a pretty good addition to either Kinji's or Rei's teams, so I'm gonna say she jumps between the two) - Kakeru | company lawyer. I read somewhere that he also helps Teruya with financial law. - Kanata | company medic - Akane | catering/janitor - Satsuki | Linuj has her listed as "welfare" but that sounds like a hr job and we're not doing Satsuki dirty like that? I'd kinda imagine she'd help Mikako with the mental health of survivors, or go with Kinji as like a first response for victims. Strike team: - Kinji | negotiator - Kiyoka | Daredevil? Kinda more pictured her as the support watching through a sniper scope - Mitch (apparently? Who taught him to use a gun??) - Ayame | scout - Haruhiko | getaway driver, somewhere had him listed as haulage so I guess he also manages procuring supplies. That means that providing supplies to peopleis probs the whole sunshine quartet which makes me happy (Haru drives, Satsuki is the main point of contact with survivors, Teruya manages cost/procurement, Kiyoka acts as security).
Management: - Yamato | Head - Tsurugi | Second-in-command - Yuuki/Utsuro (except if this is IF, he'd probably be monitored for a real long time/essentially a prisoner. He'd have a lot of redeeming to do to be trusted by Yamato again).
So like, first off the dynamic is a lot more balanced, since Yamato acts as Tsurugi's tether to stop him going off the edge, and with a larger more trusted team it's less likely that Rei and Teruya would need to go out on missions as much, which in turns puts less of the stress on them.
I feel like out of all of them, Kakeru has the most work on his plate. It's easy to ignore laws in your favour when society has all but collapsed and I can totally see Tsurugi, Rei, and potentially Yamato wanting to just side step some laws to get things done easier. He really has to put his foot down, because /no/ catching the bad guys is not worth becoming the bad guys. He gets a real headache after the strike team goes on missions as all the collateral means more paperwork.
Likewise Kanata has the problem of half the team disregard their physical health and the other half disregard their mental health. Sometimes it's better and sometimes people wonder if she'll just snap and kill them all /lh. She does get to work with her dad tho, which helps a ton. When they find Midori, she helps Kakeru keep an eye on her condition.
Yamato spends a lot of the early days working to remove the memory wipe on everyone, and reversing the side effects on Mikako and himself. The effects were disabled in IF due to the device Yuuki pressed, but there's no guarantee that effect will last. I'm gonna say for this that it does revert, but Yamato still has good motor function, so for a while he communicates via sign language and a whiteboard he hangs around his neck. He becomes friends with Kiyoka this way, as she has poor hearing from years of shooting without proper safety equipment and is the one who teaches him JSL.
I'm not sure how morally grey the og Kisaragi foundation was, since our narrator on it (Teruya) was kinda unreliable. They're kinda in a difficult situation anyways, they want to save people as a priority but also they need money/resources, which means they'll need to work with anyone they can, especially in the early days of the tragedy. I'd like to think that a lot of their income comes from creating and distributing anti-monokuma tech like the railgun Yamato has in chapter 0.
Kakeru + Teruya would definitely catch Tsurugi if he attempted something like what he did with Syobai in SDRA2, and in this timeline it's not a certain that Tsurugi regresses to his old ways. I think he's not in a good place after shooting Akane, but he's not past the point of no return.
Something I do wanna talk about is that the strike team has Kinji and then one braincell between the other four?? I guess Tsurugi and Yamato (and possibly Rei) will go too just to have some planning and thinking amongst the team /lh Going back to the actual question, perhaps they take Mitch for him to be cannon fodder in missions and then he just gets patched up again when they get back lol. Haru gets really annoyed when people bleed all over his car/van/helicopter.
One last thing, they figure out pretty quickly that they can't really imprison Utsuro/Akane since the moment Utsuro just thinks about leaving a string of events will happen like a Rube Goldberg machine and he'll just walk out and get a sandwich or something. So, they just kinda work with his mental health and try to help him and Akane through their despair. It's a lot on Mikako, but she wanted to give him a chance back then and she wants to see that through.
I'm not sure how they'd eventually interact with VOID, I think Mikado would still be obsessed with him, but I think the other voids would be happy with their luck still in effect.
Right, I could keep talking about them but I'm gonna stop there, if you read this far - congrats!

maybe i will nonsensically ramble about the spins to distract myself from my angst. bonkers sdra2 spoilers under the cut. other warnings include general death/execution mentions, very brief mention of k/n/de otonokoji in a paragraph, which is marked, some talk of mikado sannoji(though none of it is really positive, just talking about him as a mastermind), and general talk of yuki’s mental health and how it was meant to deteriorate. i’ll try to keep things brief and relatively un-graphic!
for any complaints you may have about sdra2′s writing, i feel like there isn’t enough positive attention given to the way that subtle details hint at fortune being at play, and how many things click into place when you realize fortune’s hold over the plot of sdra2 and how the entire thing was constructed to send yuki into despair.
even in murder plans that were unexpected or went south, fortune makes it all go according to plan regardless. mikado saying that the result has already been decided does seem to genuinely be the case here in several ways.
first off, the fact that yuki is present for every single body discovery. this is especially noteworthy in both yuri’s case, as that was hajime making a conscious effort to make yuki see yuri’s body.
this is also a significant experience for the player, as sdra2′s body discoveries go a step beyond the typical goriness of the canon danganronpa series, making this especially noteworthy towards yuki.
sora does well to be a self insert for the player, as while she is obviously shocked by the deaths that happen, the persona of sora doesn’t know of anything else. it’s not exactly easier for her to process, but she goes into the killing game without expectations. hell, just a couple hours after basically being brought into consciousness due to Amnesia, she watches a woman literally get burned alive, and then is stabbed directly after.
she takes a lot of the blunt of the killing game, and going along with the theory that sora was there largely to bring about more despair to yuki, i think this factors into that role given to her and was very intentional. (thanks, mr irl nikei) for starters, sora, while not very good at it and kind of isn’t, is accidentally yuki’s support system in a lot of ways.
first off, the only other person present for every body discovery is sora, and it’s typically alongside yuki. i’d say the only other person who is consistently there is yoruko, but even she shows up late for the not-festive-at-all party more than once, and yoruko is more focused on being sora’s support system or getting support from sora in a lot of ways.
sora’s the one that, for the most part, gets the rest of the group through the trials. so, what does this mean for yuki, who’s unhappiness is the goal of the killing game?
well, on one hand, it makes yuki rely on sora. this obviously comes crashing down on him when sora is revealed to be... you know, akane. however i’d also say this makes yuki doubt himself more.
sora is the unwavering rock of the killing game essentially, other than syobai to an extent, but yuki ends up taking out a lot of his negative emotions onto her. this is again because sora doesn’t try very hard to sympathize with him and isn’t a good support system, but especially after the fourth chapter yuki doesn’t really have anyone else.
...this is definitely all the work of mikado, and void.
v (!k/n/de paragraph! please skip it if ur reading and uncomfy with mentions of her!) v and it’s a different case entirely, but this is part of why i find kanade’s intelligence so enticing. her brainpower alone is enough to create a murder trial that outclasses the void’s literal magic, and is literally only solved through the Power of the ProtagonistTM.
^(!k/n/de paragraph! please skip it if ur reading and uncomfy with mentions of her!) ^
but still. kanade aside, i’m gonna get off topic here, but this is why i find the voids’ relationships with yuki so interesting. you have hajime who could maybe be an older brother figure to yuki the way shinji was, but he... you know.
emma is yuki’s literal idol(which also... it’s interesting that linuj put that in there? like, it implies that emma was either a famous actress at the time of yuki being a teenager which seems?? weird?? or that they intentionally put that memory into yuki for one reason or another??? but why would they??? it doesn’t ever come up except for like two dialogue exchanges????? WHY WAS IT THERE) who kills one of the most helpful members in trials so far, and iroha...
well, iroha i think is too Like That to really bond with anyone.
but NIKEI dude. as someone who has lucky pen as a comfort ship............. this shit hits me different. congrats: this is where the essay becomes me raving about lucky pen.  lucky pen is actually so fucking genius.
first off, the way it embodies “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”??? the way nikei, if he was more vulnerable, would relate to yuki over them both being victims of mikado’s scheming??? the way that they both feel like there are unconquerable odds against them but nikei doesn’t go down until you’ve pinned him while yuki gives in because he believes he can’t do anything??? THE WAY THEY TREAT THEMSELVES SO SIMILARLY BUT IT’S FOR THE SAME REASON AT THEIR CORES????? GUYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
listen, l isten, you can say “well nikei was all like ‘yuki maeda has to die’ and that was for the kg on one hand yes, but on the other that completely paves the way for nikei to grow as a person.
mikado’s interference with nikei’s personal goals made nikei see the ingame yuki maeda as an object, but that’s why i’d love to see their relationship in a world where mikado isn’t as prevalent at all and where they can have a genuine relationship together.
like i saw a headcanon where nikei absolutely interviews yuki about his talent and about who he is as a person, and for yuki that’s completely out of the blue- he likes it, but it’s confusing, AND THAT MESSES ME UP I THINK ABOUT IT ALL THE TIME. CAN YOU IMAGINE. DO YOU HAVE A MENTAL IMAGE OF HOW PERFECT THAT WOULD BE.
the way nikei has a genuine interest in everything around him and the way yuki views himself as completely uninteresting like, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA anyways. plus they’re cute boys and i like them being cute together :)
anyways that’s my rambling time to go watch the sdra2 translation updates that i haven’t seen because i’veb een too busy being sad /lh /hjfor starters, sora, while not very good at it and kind of isn’t, is accidentally yuki’s support system in a lot of ways.
