Jean-Baptiste Facilier doesn't know a lot about his mother other than she was the one who named him, and that shortly after his birth, she was admitted to an asylum. According to his aunt Dorothy, she always babbled about how a Shadow Man was coming to take her baby away. Shortly after she was admitted, she died of unknown reasons in the hospital. So he never really got the chance to know her for himself. Though aside from all of that, he had a normal childhood. His aunt Dorothy gave him an education from home and taught him many things, ranging from sewing and arithmatic to dance and reading. He never really had questions about his father until he entered his teen years. His aunt had never met the man, and the only clue he had to go on was his given last name. It had to belong to his father right.

When JB was seventeen, he finally went out to seek his father, which he did. He didn't quite like the man his father was, but he wasn't surprised to see how dastardly the doctor was given the fact that he was absent through his life. Regardless he worked to build a relationship with his father and his half-sister, Calliope. As it turns out, Calliope was pulling a con of her own against their father. Though Jean-Baptiste could see right through it, he wasn't about to blow the whistle on her. The doctor along with Calliope gladly taught him about the other side, before he disappeared once again into the night. All that remained were whispers in the streets of a shadow man. J wondered if maybe that was who his mother rambled about. Maybe she wasn't crazy after all. Maybe his father let JB find him.

It didn't take long for Jean-Baptiste to realize that he wanted to use his newfound skills to help people rather than trick and deceive. He received an education in medicine and used his skills along with the knowledge he gained to become a holistic healer. He decided to return to his father's old shop after his education only to find that his half-sister was now running it. He decided to take her up on an offer to work there with her. Using his skills to heal peoples' minds, bodies, and spirits.

callie had never been one to do as she was told and the moment she was told not to do something… well that only meant she would see to it immediately. calypso and trouble might as well have been synonyms for each other because where there was one the other was never far behind.

she grew up learning that land was a dangerous place and those who walked on it were even more of a threat. her mother was quick to remind callie that her magic made her just as lethal as any human might be, but using her magic to inflict pain wasn’t something that interested the young sea witch.

at only eleven, callie fled from the only home she’d ever known, eager to escape her mother’s controlling grasp. for the first time in her life, she was free to make her own decisions, however, her inexperience on land and her willingness to trust others only showed calypso her mother had been right all along. humans were dangerous and to be kept at length—or killed if necessary.

callie spent the next decade roaming the ocean as she pleased, letting only the tides and currents govern her next destination. she honed her magic and skills over the years hoping she could make her mother proud of at least one aspect of her life.

callie wants more than anything to have friends and to not be lonely, but after being nearly murdered by fisherman she's struggled with severe trust issues 

that isn’t to say she’s never interacted with humans. she’s only ever made a few human friends over the years and they were special circumstances. ( wanted connections for these, let me know if you’d like to have known callie! )

as a teenager, she crafted and spelled a pearl necklace for herself which gives her the ability to have legs or tentacles at will. she enjoys both forms equally, which is the primary reason she made the piece. worried her mother might be angry, she enchanted it so it cannot be removed by anyone except callie herself

Lorie originally hails from the kingdom of Andalasia. Andalasia is a beautiful fairy tale land, full of magic. Her father is the first and original magical Scroll , who has the answer to any and every question the user asks. 

But there wasn’t just one scroll - Lorie was a younger Scroll in training, dedicated to learning everything the world could offer. She may have been a magical enchanted object, but she still had a long way to go before she could properly serve her kingdom. 

Considering that she was originally a magical object, her father was more of an adopted father figure than biological. But she still looked up to him, and he always had her best interest in mind. He was helpful at teaching and training Lorie and her “sibling” at how to be the best magical scroll in the land.

When he was gifted to Giselle and Robert’s child by King Edward and Queen Nancy, Lorie became Andalasia’s number one magical scroll. It was a big job, but she knew she could do it.

The last thing Lorie remembers before waking up in town is becoming Anadalsia’s main scroll and source of information. (Basically the very beginning of Disenchanted)

Chess was more of an enigma around Wonderland and less of an actual being, people would talk about him but rarely to him, not even bothering to learn his real name they all just referred to him as The Cheshire Cat, mostly because he tended to avoid people and disappear, having more fun playing pranks and confusing them with his riddles and words. Everything in Wonderland was always the same, tea parties with the Mad Hatter and the March Hare, some of the only people he could stand to be around, but maybe it was because they were just as crazy as he once that it almost made him feel normal.

He went about the motions everyday, bored and wanting to have some fun. So he decided to do something no one in Wonderland dared to do, he was going to play a prank on the Queen of Hearts. It was so harmless he had forgotten what he'd done until the guards managed to catch him and he was in front of the queen. She was so angry as she screamed on and on about her roses and how he had destroyed them, honestly he hardly cared at all.

He only paid attention once the Queen threatened to behead him, then he was in survival mode. He somehow managed to convince the queen to spare him in exchange for his undying loyalty and to report on anything new in Wonderland to her before anyone else, do her bidding, and anything else she asked of him. Honestly it added just enough adventure and suspense in his life to keep him satisfied.

One day a mysterious girl appeared in wonderland and of course he played his tricks on her and gave her directions before he quickly vanished to tell the queen all about it. After that he stayed hidden but watched the blonde girl, something about him perplexed him, maybe it was the thought of there being more than wonderland out there for him somewhere and he watched to see how to get there. Or maybe it was just sheer boredom. Eventually the blonde left and when Chess tried to follow he couldn’t he was stuck in Wonderland. After that he gave up on the thought of anything else, resigned to his fate he fell further into madness, becoming worse, on top of it he began to grow darker and darker in nature, no longer caring about the things he formally cared for.

At some point Chess met another cat in Wonderland, she intrigued him enough to pursue her, but when things got serious he did what he does best and vanished. It wasn’t until the queen got ahold on her for something small, she kidnapped her and his kid, sentencing the girl to death, Chess was left with this kid he suddenly needed to be responsible for. The Queen thought the whole ordeal was hilarious and kept his son as a kind of pet, forcing Chess to stick around the castle, keeping an eye on them while still being his kooky and aloof self.

Chess was in the middle of scolding his kid and when he thought he heard the queen he vanished, when he reappeared he was no longer in Wonderland, he was in some strange town, he looked different, no longer pink, furry, and striped. In fact he looked more like Alice or the Queen. AS most would be confused and scared he was excited, he had a feeling this would be the best adventure of his life.

Chess suffers from many mental health issues, audio and visual hallucinations, and spotty memories, back in Wonderland this was just considered normal.

He had the ability to turn invisible.

He’s very disconnected from reality, coming off as mad, but he always has motives for what he did.

Jasper was born into a family legacy, to be the best scarer Monsters Inc. had ever seen. Having Bill Sullivan as your grandfather and James P. Sullivan as your father definitely created some heavy expectations for Jasper growing up. Of course these expectations created pressure, but Jasper learned how to thrive under the pressure, and from a young age he knew what his purpose in life was and nothing could stop him. Jasper was the golden child, having grown up not knowing his mother and not knowing anything about her he clung to his father, idolizing him and wanting to make him proud no matter what he had to do, or who he had to hurt in the process.

Of course he didn’t just have those two, his fathers best friend, his uncle and aunt Mike and Celia Wazowski and their daughter Margo. Their families saw each other at least once a week for a big dinner together and that ended with Margo and Jasper becoming inseparable best friends.

He excelled in his studies and before he knew it he was in Monsters University and a proud member of Roar Omega Roar, just like his grandfather. University was a breeze for him, he was good looking, popular, academically inclined and top scarer in his graduating class. Unlike his father and uncle he didn’t need to work his way up from the bottom at Monsters Inc. He was immediately made a scarer, and of course very well liked and popular.

Things in his life were easy, uncomplicated and exactly how he liked it. That is until he met Kendall. It was at a work party that his father insisted he attend despite it including everyone and not just the scare floor. He was having a lousey time until his gaze fell upon a boy across the room and his infatuation with him was almost instant. Of course with Kendall hating the whole scaring thing it took work from Jasper to even get a date, but eventually he won him over and they ended up in a relationship. Things were great until he told his father. Knowing Kendall’s father, Randall, Sulley explained that he would be severely disappointed in him if they relationship continued. Not wanting to give it up they decided to hide it, until it started to break down the relationship. Overall Jasper chose not disappointing his father over the boy he was in love with. After that he went on spree’s of hooking up with whosever he could to try and move on, of course nothing working, but he wasn’t going to let anyone know that.

He was at work and about to enter a door when suddenly everything went dark and he woke up in a strange place, looking and feeling very different, alone and confused, trying to navigate this new life, or wake up from the horrible nightmare.

Arliss is the second born son of the town Pumpkin King and Queen, Jack and Sally Skellington. Being the middle child came with its usual challenges, feeling invisible, not heard, nothing out of the ordinary. Growing up Arliss was always a little bit jealous of his older brother, Lionel. He was the golden child, apple of his fathers eye and lived up to every expectation that Arliss was always just shy of.

Eventually the small loses began to eat at him more and eventually he started to resent Halloween as a whole, the entire holiday making him angry, which then meant that the entire town generally rubbed him the wrong way. This caused quite a rift between the relationship with him and his father, they rarely spoke because every conversation turned into an argument.

This caused him to spend lots of time in the woods with the doors, bringing his guitar with him and writing songs, singing to himself and generally just daydreaming until he finally went home.

Every now and then his mother would come find him and sit with him, listening to his songs, causing them to become closer and closer, which Arliss was thankful for.

It was actually while he was on his way to the doors that he closed his eyes and when he opened them he was in an entirely new place, confused on what was going on, but secretly hopeful to be away from home.

Todd doesn’t remember his life with his biological mom, he just knows that she was murdered when he was very young by a hunter. He was left at his adoptive mothers farm and she didn’t hesitate to take him in and raise him as her own. Tod loved his life, he got to grow up on a farm with lots of animal friends. He was the light of his mothers life, and she was his best friend. well, until Copper moved in next door.

Tod being the curious boy he was, he immediately went next door and before he knew it he’d made fast friends with Copper. They were virtually inseparable, going on small adventures and losing track of time until Coppers dad called him home and Tod went back to his mom.

Seeing Copper was the highlight of his life in that moment. They wrestled, they played, and it wasn’t long til Tod found himself developing feelings for his best friend, of course he would never speak about it. It was a random day where Copper didn’t meet him at his regular spot, he went to him but he found him tied up outside and unable to play with him.

Their relationship changed drastically and Tod never really understood why they couldn’t just be friends. One winter Copper went away with his family on a trip over the winter. The winter felt long, longer without his best friend to pass the time with.

When he finally returned nothing was the same, their friendship was basically no longer existent.

A series of blurry events to Tod ended with his mother leaving him in the woods and driving away, leaving him to fend for himself on his own, in a world that he knew nothing about, and nothing about it was easy.

When he met Vixey he decided that this was the life he was suppoised to have, be with someone like him, fall in love and get his happily ever after, and he resigned himself to that. It wasn’t until Copper’s family came after him and Vixey, causing a whirlwind of events that involved a bear and Tod getting a gun pointed at him.

He genuinely thought that was the end but Copper came between him and his dad, saving his life. No words were exchanged but they both knew with a look that they were still friends, but their lives were off in different directions.

After that Copper went back to his life with his family, and Tod and Vixey made their home in the woods behind the farm, that way they were able to keep in touch with Copper, for once his family allowed them to be near eachother without his dad trying to kill him.

It wasn’t long before Tod and Vixey had a kid of their own, bringing their kid by often to spend time with his mother and Copper, life felt good and like it was always supposed to be this way.

Of course Tod’s heart always yearned to have what he had with Copper back, but that wasn’t how his destiny was supposed to be, or at least thats what he told himself.

Unfortunately Tod has missing memories, the last thing he remembers was Copper standing over him, protecting him and solidifying their friendship once and for all....then everything in his memories beyond that is foggy.

the son of pascal, nathan has spent the majority of his life as chameleon. however, his formerly small size and previous lack of ability to communicate verbally did nothing to put a damper on his larger than life personality. much like his father, nate is a tried and true friend once he is in your corner. he has always loved making people laugh or at least smile, quick to do some sort of trick or make himself look ridiculous if that was what the moment called for. and he was always happy to provide a listening ear, be a trustworthy confidant for those who simply needed to get something off their chest or work out a problem by talking.

nathan also has his father’s protective tendencies, quick to stare down any bullies in corona. those same tendencies inspired him to sit in on royal guard training sessions whenever the opportunity arose, watching carefully to observe how they learned to defend the kingdom’s citizens or resolve issues. and he would be lying if he said that his mischievous tendencies didn’t lead to him pulling small pranks on the aforementioned bullies in retaliation. just helping karma get there faster, he would say nowadays.

for the most part though, he did enjoy a safe and happy life back home. what more could a chameleon possibly ask for? so imagine the shock that came when life changed in the blink of an eye. one moment, he was just going about his day and the next? he wasn’t a chameleon in corona anymore. on the contrary, he was a human in a strange, new place.

suddenly being human is quite the odd experience for him to say the least. definitely uncharted territory, but nate is nothing if not excited to rise to the challenge. he is admittedly a little nervous and feeling overwhelmed about these various changes, definitely homesick for corona yet he can’t help wondering about the potential adventures that might lie ahead.

nate is feeling quite the mixed bag of emotions about these current circumstances, there is no denying that. yet he is trying to focus on being a steady presence for friends old and new while hoping for the best, wishing for a happily ever after.

tristan was born to hades, the ruler of the underworld, and was raised more or less how one would expect such a fiendish being to mold a young mind. though luckily for the young demi-god his father was not his only teacher—the world around him did far more to inspire his upbringing than the god ever could.

to this day the identity of his mother still merely remains “that witch”, his father would never say anything too revealing about her identity. only knowing the few choice negative words he’d been hearing since his youth. the mystery surrounding the other half of his identity has plagued him always.

the things hades did teach weren’t for the faint of heart and were intended to shape his only child to be cruel and wicked. but like many of hades’ plans, it backfired horribly—tristan was left to his own devices more often than not and outside influences steered the boy away from the darkness.

first was a faerie, who helped him see as only a small child the real difference between right and wrong. to see why it mattered and how his choice could effect the world around him. the second was a witch who exemplified just why dark magic—or any magic, was so perilous when not prepared for the consequences. and the third was merely a mortal who showed him the value of life and just how precious it could be.

all these things aren’t to say he’s become a model citizen, far from it. but tristan isn’t heartless and his peculiar upbringing has led him to be cautious of everyone and suspicious of everything.

nearly all “childcare” duties we left to pain and panic, tristan has always had a bit of a soft spot for the two. they weren’t great babysitters but were at least entertaining

he possess magic tho has yet to discover the true extent of his abilities. because the magic stems from his mothers side, hades has never been much help when it came to learning to control it. almost everything tristan can do has been self-taught or learned from someone he’s crossed paths with 

from his father, tristan inherited an temper he struggles to control, the power to control fire, and the gift of immortality—however, tristan isn’t so sure it should be called a gift.

as a child he discovered a way to transform his physical appearance, to make himself look like "normal” people, as he called it. he prefers his human form above all else and is embarrassed to be seen with his real face. he’s a very insecure bby

harrison is the son of floyd pepper and janice from the muppet band the electric mayhem. his birth was something of a surprise to his two hippie laid back parents.

despite that , he grew up surrounded by music and laughter.

of course he took a shining to music and learned to play the piano and guitar. he's part of the muppets and joined his parents in the band when he reached the right age.

of course, now that he’s in this mysterious and odd town, he isn’t sure what to do. all he knows is he enjoys making music and would love to be back with his family and friends.

he’s pretty easy going and a free spirit though, so he’s determined to make the most out of a bad situation. he’s here to make friends, party and play music.

Constance grew up in a small and poor town. She was the youngest of four children. Her childhood was anything but easy, even at a young age. Her parents were poor farmers, who lived in a small town. Growing up, Constance was put to work doing chores around the farm. She hated it. She would rather keep busy by keeping the home. Her mother was a kind and lovely lady, but her father was cruel and an alcoholic. He hated Constance and her mother, abusing both of them regularly. She began to hate him, and most men as a byproduct.

As Constance grew older, she grew more beautiful - too beautiful as some would say. She cared deeply about her appearance, to the point of vanity. Her cruel father would call her awful names. However, Constance’s mother always told her daughter how proud she was of her. Constance always had higher aspirations for her life, which involved more money and a higher social status. The moment the opportunity came to marry Ambrose Harper, son of a long-standing wealthy farming family, she took it. Anything to get away from her poor, abusive father. However, three years into their marriage, Ambrose met his early demise by a hatchet accident - leaving his money to Constance. This wasn’t enough. She wanted more.

She would go to marry five times in total, all meeting their demise by hatchet accidents and leaving their fortunes to her. She never stayed married for too long, with the exception of her last husband George Hightower. Each of her husbands left her more wealth and status than the last. Marrying George, Constance finally had gathered all the wealth and stature she dreamed of. She was finally satisfied, and didn’t completely hate her fifth husband.

However, something that wasn’t part of the plan was having children.  She was anything but a loving mother. If anything, it threw a wrench in her plans. Her firstborn was young when their father died mysteriously. She would marry again before having her second child. She always thought George was soft-hearted when it came to their daughter, and had no problem telling him such. It was twelve years into their marriage before George ultimately met the same fate as her previous husbands. After his death, Constance and her children remained in their mansion.

It was rumored Constance died of old age, and would haunt the attic where the remnants of her past life were kept. She didn’t have many friends in the mansion, keeping mostly to herself and her children.

hope was born on a chilly autumn day in chandrila. her name came easily. “ help me obi wan kenobi , you’re my only hope “ …. “ rebellions are built on hope. “ these very important says impacted the world of the solo-organa family, and thus made sense to name their daughter that. and so , hope breha organa was born. the early years of hope were filled with fun , laughter, and happiness. not a moment wasn’t spent without her siblings. they were always together , getting into trouble , doing typical sibling things.

as a child , one of her favorite things to do was to fly the millennium falcon with her father and uncle chewbacca. she was a natural pilot, of course, taking after her father. 

as a child , hope enjoyed playing sabaac with her father and “uncle” lando calrissian. she was actually very good , even at a young age. this was the first time in her young life she showed force powers - intuition. she was very , very good , and the only way anyone could beat her was to cheat. that’s why to this day , she’s never beat lando - he cheats almost always. hope also started taking up an interest in baking as a child. it started as helping out her mother in the kitchen , making cookies and muffins for the solo men. hope eventually began making cakes , pies , and other sweet confectionary treats. it became a tradition for hope to make the birthday cake for whoever’s birthday it was.  once , she tried to use what mechanic skills chewbacca had taught her and attempted to make a droid. this droid would be helpful in the kitchen , acting as an extra set of hands for hope. she named him C4-K3. unfortunately , it didn’t go as planned and the droid caught fire , almost burning down the solo family house. after that , C-3PO began overseeing hope’s baking when her parents were unavailable. 

despite living happily with her family , the siblings were often left to their own devices or in the are of their family’s protocol droid for a nanny. leia was busy being a senator. han was busy being … han. time spent with their parents was precious , but not often. at least they had each other to entertain themselves.  

when hope was just ten years old, she was sent to go train with their uncle luke at his jedi praxeum. in all honesty , hope never wanted to be a jedi. she saw herself as growing up to become the galaxy’s best professional sabaac player , or perhaps opening up her own bakery. but eventually, training in the force actually became one of hope’s favorite things. she was quite skilled at mental uses of the force , and as her mother knew from early on , intuition was her strongest skill.  she also found that she could communicate via the force and would often send messages to her siblings that way. 

when the war started, hope knew what she had to do. she joined her mother in the resistance and joined an x-wing squadron. 

𝙿𝚁𝙴𝚂𝙴𝙽𝚃:

hope was pulled into the town during the war between the resistance and the first order. snoke is still alive and in power. her friend poe had just gone off on a mission to hopefully get a piece of the map to lead to wherever her uncle had disappeared off to. (basically - during the events at the very beginning of episode vii.)

she is desperate to go back home and finding her family.
