Hehe, is saw that the ask box is open so I decided to drop a request. may I request Illumi's reaction after hearing that his friend/crush's parents set up an arrange marriage for his crush? You can discard this request if you wanttt, Thank youu (ꏿ﹏ꏿ;)

Warning: Illumi being a littlee obsessive (?)

- For Illumi to have a crush, there must be something that really sticks out about said person for him to develop feelings for them. If Illumi does end up falling for someone, he would fall hard, growing very strong feelings for this person. Since he’s never experienced an actual crush before, Illumi would also not be used to the reality of being crushed.

- Over the course of getting to know you, lets just say that you were the only person that Illumi’s ever developed feelings for, so you were an extremely important person to him.

- One day, you and him decided to get together once again, something casual and simple with the two of you. After a while of exchanging conversation with each other (you doing most of the talking), you decide to bring up some of the recent events that occurred lately. Illumi assured you that he was all ears, but this assassin was definitely not ready to hear what you had to say.

- You then finally told him that your parents were setting you up in an arranged marriage for you. Though you seemed very nonchalant about it, it didn’t immediately click in his head when you brought it up. Honestly, he didn’t really believe it at first, either. 

- His first reaction once he took that information was a mixture of surprise and confusion. Arranged marriage? Did he hear that right? Something about those two words just struck him with shock.

- He’ll start to ask you only a few questions at first, trying to get decent understanding of it all despite all his confused thoughts swarming around his head in that moment. After you answered them, Illumi started to a lot more, maybe to an overwhelming extent (before asking him to dial the questions down).

- Though, the main thing that would linger in his mind was who you were marrying per se. He was curious to know all about said person, what were they like, how did they act, etc etc. Illumi also wondered how this person compared to him. Honestly, this all stemmed from the fact that he felt jealous at this moment.

- You honesty just had to ask him to tone it down because the amount of questions he was asking was starting to become overwhelming.

- In general, Illumi would also feel a sense of disappointment, not in you of course, but in this whole situation. He thought of you as something he would always have with him, something that Illumi could keep forever in his pocket. The realization that you were actually being taken away from him was something Illumi didn’t want to accept. 

- In the future, if you ever try to invite him to the wedding, he’ll will simply refuse and just push it off because “he had a mission”. In reality, the last thing Illumi would want to see was you in the arms of someone else. You still meant the world to him, and Illumi was confident to think that he was still the right person for you.
