THREAD | Why is watching Anne With an E important? #SaveAnneWithAnE Starting from the beginning Anne With an E is based on one of the most famous literature in the world, Anne of Green Gables and tells the story of a red-haired girl who is mistakenly adopted by a couple of brothers. #saveanne Anne is an ordinary girl, but she carries countless traumas in her life. The pain of abandonment and of never being accepted in homes, in addition to the frequent bullying she suffered, made her create a new world, based on imagination and literature. #RenewAnneWithAnE AWAE is a series that portrays the time of 1890, therefore, the anachronistic look is normal, but the series always finds itself in its plot transforming the subjects addressed with a strong power in the present day. #saveanne Unlike other series, AnnE does not sexualize its characters, the series is fully supported by the environment (it is filmed in the season that can least impact the environment). #saveanne   The story may seem small and not so attractive, but it is not: bullying feminism love adoption chauvinism racism homophobia autonomy democracy all these themes and many others are part of this very charming series. #saveanne You will not find the series poorly done. Distributed in two seasons, seventeen episodes. #saveanne The cast may not seem familiar, but they're great. The acting is a piece of work, it is what most attracts the attention of all fans, the way in which each actor throws himself into his character is seen with incredible precision. #saveanne Anne With an E, has awards, even without visibility. The Canadian series is the most awarded in its country, winning awards such as: Best Series of the Year, Best Drama Series, Best Drama Actress (Amybeth) and is part of the TOP Best Series on Netflix by critics. #saveanne AnnE has/had everything to be one of the greatest series of the century, but it has a defect, it is not publicized by Netflix and CBC. That's hit me.

MC was worried Solomon might turn her and Sebastian in to the Headmaster and they'd be expelled.

But what would Solomon's evidence be and why would Black ever care without any caught-on-scene for anything really, especially, when Solomon is easily annoyed by simply everything about his nephew.

Besides, even if he would have somehow convinced Black to look into the matter, who could guarantee him that his supposed wish to come true -- if we assume MC was right about him turning them in and that he wouldn't back down on his word (which I believe to be the actual truth, as Solomon was trying to put down / kill the both of them, MC and Sebastian, rather than to have them expelled or worse, sent to Azkaban; that's… the supposed sense of mercy this man has is absolutely vile).

But. Behind MC were Fig, as her mentor (and he would never let the opportunity of finishing his and Miriam's work slip away), also a person of trust to Black, and Sharp, as someone really worried about MC and who I think to be allied with Fig, therefore in the know to some great extent, and subsequently interested in keeping MC out of trouble, at least, of this particular sort, for Fig's sake.

Howevor, even if the toughest defense imaginable would be breached by sheer stubbornness of this man, even after a tactical retreat to Dinah&Matilda duo, what would be the evidence and why would Solomon be sure, that knowing his temper, whatever it was Sebastian took possession of was worth a legillimens from any investigator or, if Black wouldn't let anyone in, Sharp or Dinah.

You know. People who are entangled with Eleazar's inquiries about goblin activities and are likely in support of whatever party that fights goblins back. They wouldn't ever not to condemn the usage of Unforgivables, howevor, but would they cater to Solomon's vile wishes? Doubtful. They'd rather fight him off than let him do justice himself because killing someone for the sake of THEIR OWN good -- what really the fuck is wrong with you Solomon.

Back to evidence.

The Book could've easily be hidden by a third party.

The Relic, too.

But. If we're to jump forward to the dungeon, where it was already too late to change Sebastian's mind and Solomon came across The Evidence…

He destroyed the only evidence he had on them right away… The destruction of the Book would be the only a matter of Anne getting inside the dungeon and, enraged by the extent of it all and by how far Sebastian was ready to dwell, would have still casted Incendio.

The only solid ground would be the usage of Unforgivables. Which Black secretly or not so secretly do not condemn; he doesn't judge MC when she uses any of them in front of him. Meaning, Solomon's only option would be going straight to the Ministry, as Black would likely approve of that Imperio, but.

Given how reluctant was the Ministry. Given the fact Sebastian hadn't harmed anyone. Solomon doesn't have A N Y grounds to imprison him or convince anyone of Sebastian's danger to anyone. He doesn't have a chance on MC either, or he'd face Fig, who can contact the Minister directly at seemingly any time, and Sharp, likely being a man who might have a few things to say to anyone who're live in a disbelief of any cure existence and although it's not a crime, who're also induce that disbelief on unwilling or dependent others.

From the depths of despair,

So I haven’t really ever been very vocal on Tumblr. Not that I haven’t been interested in many things, but I was more on the reader side of this place, appreciating the people and loving all the content you guys create. 

But y’all Netflix has just gotten rid of my last nerve and this nut really cracked. Anne with an E means so much to me. I’m not even gonna mention all the important topics and issues that are discussed in it, because we have all seen that over the years. But what made me love it so passionately is because of all the hope and positivity it gave me while watching it. So many times, while watching it, I made a mental note to myself that I was smiling so hard. It was so uplifting and heartwarming. They created a world with cruelty and hardships, but they made us feel like we are unbeatable, and that if we fight hard enough, believe and work together as a community, we can achieve what we set out for. And even if we fail at something, who’s to say that we can’t try tomorrow with even more opportunities to fix things? This series made me forget all the anxieties and dark thoughts I have in life, and instead gave me a new focus for that one episode I was watching. It made me fall in love with all the character, made me be so proud of Anne and gave me the not so occasional eye-roll at how clueless both Gilbert and our hot-headed girl are. 

So, dear Netflix, are you telling me their journey is ended, and I should be so happy about it? How can a journey end with Ka’kwet still in that hell of a school, their parents hopelessly trying to help from nearby? Just because a chapter ends, doesn’t mean the book is over, my dear money-grabbing friend. I am so far from being done with these characters. The new chapter, college, is literally the start of their big lettered lives. We were there for the ups and downs of Gilbert’s and Anne’s relationship, and now we don’t even get to see it blossom? How will Marilla and Matthew be without their darling princess Cordelia around? How will the girls live through college? I want to learn about that young deaf-mute woman we only got a glimpse of. I want to know how Bash manages with Elijah and Delphine. I want Ka’kwet smiling and happy again, and I want to see how Cole and Aunt Jo are continuously living their extra lives being the queens they both are. 

I could go on and on, because every character gave me so many different things. But my main girl, my darling Anne, my daydreaming partner, thank you for making me believe that imagination is not a weakness, it’s the strongest weapon we can possess. Thank you, for letting me appreciate more everything around me, and getting back some of that childlike hope I had when I was smaller. But this is not a goodbye. I am not yet giving up on that freedom of spirit you blessed me with. Stories aren’t just stories. They can make or break us. 

Or just go ahead and give us more of those Riverdale hotties-no plot-crack that everybody is I guess so into, because screw quality over money, right?

I need to vent! I’m so sad about it being the final season? When everyone was so sure that it wouldn’t be? I’m so confused. I’ve loved this show since the first series and after such an amazing episode last night it’s been cancelled? Why would they do that to us 😭

The only conclusion we have come to is that Netflix is doing what is usually does and is choosing greed over quality. Profit over profound works. We can only hope that our efforts towards renewal do not go in vain and if that Netflix does not want it, that they will have courtesy to allow CBC to partner with someone else for it

Until then
