Sangeet strips are one of my favorite types of henna. I get to create freehand designs for each guest not knowing anything about their preferences that might influence the art. In this way I am able to create whatever comes to me but it always amazes me how each client is absolutely in love with their piece. Often times letting me know that an element I included in their henna was special to them for some reason. I think it all comes down to human connection. I don’t really know how to explain it but sometimes I just get a vibe from a person which influences my design choices. . . . Wedding season is coming up! If you are a bride getting married this year I have 3 tips for you: 1) Research your henna artist to make sure you love their artwork so there are no surprises on the day of and make sure they are using natural henna they make themselves or but from a local artist. Never use chemical henna cones, emergency cones, or any imported, even if it says 100%natural on the label. It’s not worth getting scars. 2) Plan to get your Bridal Mehndi done 2-3 days before your big day 3) Keep the henna on your skin for at least 8 hours for the best stain results Bonus tip!: save this post so you have it handy for your bridal henna session! . .
