salabarian Assalamu'alaykum yes, i know. i wrote that because there's a french facebook page called "le saviez-vous?" in which the admins post pictures with random facts, and some Muslims comment saying thngs like "Alhamdulillah" or "MashaAllah" or just harmless stuff like that. and then you got a bunch of french idiots replying with stuff like "ugh why do you have to always talk about your religion no one cares, we are in france blahblahblah" as if Muslims can't be french, and ALL their comments are rude (they swear, insult and threaten). it just pisses me off but i can't do anything about it because they're just a bunch of ignorants who don't really care to know what islam really is
p.s: i used the f word in my other post, sorry i'm never rude but they really pissed me off this time because they weren't just 2 or 3, they always comment stuff like that and it's so frustrating because they are wrong and all they know about islam is wrong and i wanna tell them but they don't even care

Ramadan 22nd, 1445...
Days dawning like a few days ago... I have laid myself back in bed after finishing Suhoor and praying Solat al-Fajr straight after the Athan... Less than 10 days left to fast, 10 days left to contemplate, 10 days left to reconsider... And still, 5 days of work therein... And still, there are wars ravaging Sudan, Somalia, Yemen, Palestine, Mali, Niger, Ukraine... A world in turmoil and no peace ahead... How can we find Laylat al-Qadr?!

Ramadan 1st, 1445 AH, somewhere in the heartlands of Baden-Württemberg
Ramadan has come to us again like a good friend... My trusty wife and I have had our Suhoor meal of Ful medammes some time ago before Fajr prayer. After a brief shower, a hasty prayer, and a short drive to the railway station of Eutingen im Gäu, I now sit in the replacement bus to Stuttgart-Vaihingen looking out of the window, seeing the core lands of Swabia waking into the dawn of another Monday in earth spring...
الحمد الله...
Despite a world in turmoil and a crumbling home country, we are looking forward to starting into this blessed month of Ramadan. Let us hope that even the evil spirits inside people stay locked in...
A blessed month of Ramadan to all of my followers and those I follow...

Conversation

Jummah prayer at Bullay, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, Dhul Qada 8th, 1442 AH (June 18th 2021AD)
Tumblr media
Pictures taken at Yeşil Camii, Bullay...
Friday is not Friday without Jummah prayer
Even on working Fridays like this Friday one should at least sacrifice his noon or afternoon break for the weekly congregational jummah prayer. In our noble Qur'an we are commanded to leave aside our worldly business and answer the call for prayer by attending the sermon and offering the prayer in congregation afterwards...
“O you who have faith! When the call is made for prayer on Friday, hurry toward the remembrance of God, and leave all business. That is better for you, should you know. And when the prayer is finished, disperse through the land and seek God's grace, and remember God greatly so that you may be successful.”
— Qur'an, Surah Al-Jumu'a h, Ayat 9-10 (62: 9-10)

كل نفس ذائقة الموت
Every soul will taste death...
Tumblr media
A few days ago I have travelled to Egypt via airplane to meet my family again after several weeks of separation. My twin sons attend kindergarten in Alexandria, the big coastal city my wife comes from. Just the day I came over my wife witnessed a cat trying to tend to her kitten that was obviously badly sick. The next morning, however, we found the small cadaver of the kitten left rotting in the heat. It hadn't made it through the night...
A stern reminder that even the youngest might encounter an early death without anyone taking the slightest amount of care. In a time of disregard and disrespect against human life how can anyone expect a sick kitten in a poorer country to get any help in times of need, when in other places even youths, children and elderly adults are left to die in a fierce pandemic that spreads all around the globe. At least here in Egypt people are recommended to wear a facemask, disinfect their hands and keep the distance not spread the CoViD-19 virus. In some countries important parts of the government do not even care about that...
Still though the fate of that little kitten is a reminder to remember the boundaries of our existence and not to indulge ourselves in arrogance, ungratefulness and ignorance towatds our physical and spiritual gifts, needs and attributes. People nowadays cultivate 7 ego to such an extent that nothing else is left of their personality. Once that brittle shell crushes nothing else is left...
Remember your grave, do away with your foolish pride and lead a life based on stalwart ethics, sincere belief and truthful modesty.
Our plans about life may just prove to be such a short-lived kitten. And just as you think of being at ppthe beginning of something great and glorious, the angel of death p on the doorstep pointing at you telling you that your time has come...

When the early hours of dawn have come, you rise for the morning prayer and afterwards open the windows to let in the fresh air... What a relief... Prayer cleansing the soul, fresh air venting the house and refreshing the body...
