Adaptado a los tiempos que se viven, y apoyados por la firme decisión de seguir ofreciendo una ventana posible de exhibición de cine Argentino retomamos el clásico ciclo de los martes. Este querido espacio de encuentro y difusión de importantes películas nacionales celebra sus 15 temporadas consecutivas y se pondrá en marcha en el año de la celebración de los 25 años de gestión cultural de la asociación La Nave de los Sueños.

Modalidad de presentación: Las películas estarán disponibles en la web y redes de la Biblioteca Nacional, cada martes a las 19 hs hasta el martes siguiente. La programación estará acompañada por una charla introductoria con los protagonistas y/o directores.

Al igual que el mes anterior, julio estará marcado por la relación entre el cine y la literatura en todas sus formas abarcando desde documentales y películas de ficción inspiradas en obras literarias nacionales de reciente producción.

Sinopsis: Esta es la historia del Gavilán, un chico de apenas 12 años, que vive con su familia en el barrio del Viaducto, una zona portuaria rodeada de oleoductos. En 2015 ganó el premio Opera Prima del INCAA y estrenó en el año 2018 la película: “El origen de la tristeza”, basada en la novela del mismo escritor.

Sinopsis: Fernando viaja al pueblo frente al mar donde pasó su adolescencia para cumplir un ritual que comparte con Aníbal, periodista y poeta: nadar hasta una boya. Pero este año Fernando tiene un plan adicional: hacer un documental sobre Aníbal y su relación con la poesía y el mar. Al indagar en la vida de su amigo, Fernando investiga su propio pasado; ya que Aníbal tuvo una fuerte amistad con su padre, Lito. Fue profesor en la carrera de Comunicación Social de la UBA y en la Escuela Nacional de Experimentación y Realización Cinematográfica. En 2013 y 2014 fue Director Artístico del Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata. Dirigió junto a Ana Piterbarg la serie “Los 7 Locos y Los Lanzallamas” sobre las novelas de Roberto Arlt, adaptadas por Ricardo Piglia.

NadaMoo! recalls 26,000 pints of Strawberry Cheesecake Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert

Little Red Rooster Ice Cream Company, d/b/a NadaMoo! (“NadaMoo!”) announced a limited recall of approximately 26,000 pints of its Strawberry Cheesecake Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert because they contain an undeclared almond ingredient.

The recalled products are pints of NadaMoo! Strawberry Cheesecake Non-dairy Frozen Dessert that were distributed to select distributors and retailers beginning February 19, 2019. The recalled products have a “Best By” date of 08/09/2020 printed at the bottom of the pint. In addition, the recalled pints will also have a UPC code of “854758001020” listed below the barcode on the back of the pint. To help identify if a pint of NadaMoo! Strawberry Cheesecake is impacted by this recall, please visit the site NadaMoo! created at www.nadamoo.com/March2019Recall

No consumer has reported an allergic reaction to date.

No other NadaMoo! products or flavors are recalled. NadaMoo! wants to reassure customers that Strawberry Cheesecake pints not labeled with the expiration date listed above are not affected by the recall and therefore can be fully enjoyed rather than discarded.

The recall was initiated as soon as it was discovered that the pie crust inclusions in the Strawberry Cheesecake product containing almond flour as an ingredient was inadvertently filled into packaging that did not declare that ingredient, potentially exposing consumers to an undeclared allergen.
