If you’re wondering how Illusion is mentally doing in Act 3 of RRFF, here’s a paragraph I just deleted from a chapter draft, but is still canon nonetheless:

“I don’t believe in chairs. Chairs are a social construct,” Illusion grumbled. He knew the truth about this video game. He knew chairs weren’t real. If he broke this so-called chair and picked it up, his inventory would correctly call it a stair block, not a chair block. Stair blocks were only insisted to be chairs once they were put in front of a table, which was also a social construct.

My computer had a technical error and I temporarily lost my changes on a chapter! Fortunately, I was able to recover and save my changes, but I was so ready to despair if those changes had ended up lost forever.

I was actually editing a scene where Illusion was freaking out about losing progress on his work. So in hindsight, it's hilarious that nearly losing my edits of this scene made me feel the same emotions Illusion was feeling.
