Hamefura pirates of the disturbance : Rozy's introduction

Warning : the second part contains spoilers !

I found some information on a fandom and the rest I wrote it.

Rozy Lind :

Background :

Rozy is an engineer from the Kingdom of Quid, an invention powerhouse located in a different continent from Sorcier. He is recruited to the reveal of the luxury liner "Vinklem" as part of the maintenance crew. In the game he is one of the two new capture targets for Catarina.

Appearance :

Rozy is a tall man with maroon-colored hair and jade green eyes. He wears a brown technician uniform with a hat, with black belt holding his tools and gear. Under his technician vest is a black shirt with a purple neckline. He often has a gentle, reassuring on his face. He is a young man of 23 years old but he has a boyish and childish smile and gestures.

Personnality :

He is a kind and meek young man who is a talented technician. He secretly has a sweet-tooth, and is a fan of desserts and pastries. He is a very fast reader. Rozy has a creative mind and is good with tinkering with machines. He is able to make tools out of anything he can get his hands on. It is said that everyone in their family truly wants to protect and keep an eye on those they hold dear. It's in their genes. He is as smart as Geordo and the others but he is more innocent in a way.

Fortune lover game :

Rozy is a character that appears in a fan-book of Fortune Lover. In the game he is not a capture target even though he is handsome. He also got killed by Silva (who is the captain of the Sungreed pirates)

Currently :

Rozy and Catarina are acquainted, and eventually friends, due to their mutual love of sweets. He was on the desk when he caught sight of her and immediatly recognized her. He had a conversation with Silva and told him that no matter what happens he doesn't want her and only her to be hurt. Silva is aware of that and told him that even if it's the first time in 8 years he saw her he shouldn't do anything clumsy and must avoid approaching her. And Rozy accepts painfully.

Rozy's true identity :

It turns out Rozy is not really a pirate and neither is Silva or the rest of the crew. Rozy‘s real name is Rodzion Lindgren and he’s an aristocrat or more specifically a Duke of Queed. So Silva and his crew are actually Rozy‘s private guards that he hired to stop the Chancellor and his selfish scheme of trying to blow up the ship and kidnap the magic users.

Rozy's first meeting with Catarina :

When he first met Catarina in Sorcier he gave her the gummy candy he made because she was hungry while thinking that it was not very appreciate because of its strange texture (like now) and she told him it was beautiful like a jewel and how delicious it was. This made him realize his true ambition to help others and he always wanted to meet Catarina again to thank her. Eventually he was able to find out more about her and fell in love with her when he met her again. Rozy also met Silva on his way back to Queed when he almost got mugged. A younger Silva helped him but then collapsed to the ground because he was weak. Rozy noticed he looked like he was poor or homeless and decided to help him after thinking of Catarina’s smile, ignoring the people who told him not to do it. Thus, both his and Silva’s fates were essentially changed from meeting Catarina. In the game he will listen his escort and leave him here. He also kept an eye on Catarina since then, he sent someone in Sorcier to collect informations about her and know how she is doing while pretenting it was to collect informations on Sorcier, he even drew her one time when he was tired and everyone who know him well know how much he loves "the little girl who changed his life" For him, she was "his benefactor". (He really is a stalker....It's really creepy...) Ah, one thing, when he met her he was 15 years old and Catarina 8 years old... Yes, a real stalker.

They were so cute !!!

My opinion :

I love Rozy as a character (not as much as Silva, sorry) but he is really creepy in a way... I think Silva also mentionned something like that... In a way, he really reminds me Raphael ; his smile, personnality and things like that. And he is really handsome and has a calm, gentle and smart aura. I'm glad he met Catarina when they were children or else he would have no personnality. My favourites scenes are when he save her from the drunk pirate, his talk with Silva when he saw her, and almost all... Except for one thing, I think Albert really spoiled Rozy's route, he is so annoying.... And I don't know when Catarina fell in love wth him either. Unfortunately I don't have the game but I think his route is cute. (without Albert) His confession was adorable and his good ending too. It's my second favourite route.

Hamefura Pirates: Geordo's Another End

All of the summaries I have written so far are available in the Hamefura Pirates Summary Index.

Katarina hesitates to take Keith with them since he still looks sick. She suggests he rests in the sick bay while Geordo and she take care of things. Keith protests, but Katarina insists they will be alright and sends him back to bed.

Katarina and Geordo leave Keith and head to the door of the sick bay. Geordo knocks out the guard in an instant. Katarina is amazed that Geordo can use shime-wazas (chokeholds). She wonders where he learned it but decides she shouldn't think about it too deeply.

The ship's doctor and the others in the sick bay are shocked after seeing Geordo knock out the guard. Geordo apologizes and tells the ship's doctor he will leave the pirates in his care. The ship's doctor asks him what he intends to do. Geordo replies he will set out to investigate the situation. He advises the doctor not to tie the hands and feet of the knocked-out guards and to pretend he was knocked out too.

Geordo has promptly stripped the pirates of their weapons. He has retrieved a saber and a gun but keeps both of them. Katarina guesses that Geordo doesn't want her to carry weapons.

Geordo and Katarina leave the sick bay. They stealthily head towards the restricted area while being careful not to be found by pirates.

Katarina is scared of what would happen if the pirates found them. She feels like the pirate would probably be pretty mad at them and that she could easily meet her doom if that happened.

Katarina looks at Geordo and notices the saber in his hand. She suddenly remembers that she determined during her mental meeting earlier that it was safer to keep her distance from Geordo. Even so, not only is she alone with him, but he has a weapon while she is unarmed.  

After remembering how Geordo killed her in the game, Katarina turns pale and decides she must absolutely separate from him.

Katarina speaks to Geordo and suggests they search the area separately. Geordo firmly refuses because it would be dangerous for her to be alone. He takes her hand with a wide smile on his face. Geordo's smile gives Katarina chills.

Katarina shakes off Geordo's hand and frantically runs away from him. Geordo is shocked and starts chasing after her.

After frantically running, Katarina ends up in a place she doesn't recognize. She doesn't know the way back but she feels like it is still safer than staying with Geordo.

Katarina hears Geordo drawing closer and panics. As she is frantically searching for a place to hide, a door opens. It is Rozy. Katarina desperately asks him to hide her. Rozy is puzzled. Katarina explains that she is running away from Geordo. Rozy doesn't understand but accepts to help her.

Geordo arrives and has an unsettling smile on his face. Katarina is terrified. Looking at her, Rozy asks Geordo to leave Katarina to him and assures him that he will protect her. Hearing this, Geordo's eyes turn icy and Katarina gets even more terrified. She feels like her doom has finally come and hides behind Rozy in panic.

Looking at her, Geordo makes an unsettling smile. Katarina is not only avoiding him but she is relying on another man. He doesn't want to do awful things to her but it seems like he has no choice.

Geordo walks towards Katarina. Katarina collapses after feeling an impact on her neck. Rozy is shocked and Geordo knocks him out too. Geordo catches Katarina as she is falling and before she loses consciousness, she can see him smiling.

Katarina wakes up on a fluffy bed. Geordo is next to her and informs her that she is in the royal castle of Sorcier.

Katarina is surprised that she could safely return to Sorcier. Geordo explains that the SOS magic tool was nearby at the time and that he could retrieve it and request help from Sorcier.

Geordo apologizes to Katarina for the rough treatment he gave her. He explains that the blood rushed to his head because she asked another man for help. Katarina is puzzled after hearing "rough treatment" because she can't remember what happened before she lost consciousness. Geordo guesses he may have made her smell too much of "it". Though he finds this situation convenient.

Geordo tells Katarina that the pirate incident has been completely settled. Everyone is safe and the pirates have been arrested. Katarina is amazed that Geordo could settle the situation and glad that everyone is safe.

Katarina guesses she should probably return home soon since her parents must be worried. Geordo tells her she doesn't need to worry about this because she will live here from now on. Katarina is puzzled. Geordo explains that since she went and ran away from him, he can't choose the means anymore. Katarina is confused but tells him she can't possibly stay in his care forever else her mother will be furious. Geordo assures her that it won't be the case and shows her messages from her family. Her mother and father indeed seem to have entrusted her to Geordo. Katarina can't believe her parents abandoned her.

Geordo explains that her parents gave him their approval to keep her in the castle. But he will properly give them periodic reports about how she is doing. Katarina is still confused and wonders if her parents left her in the castle as part of a new kind of etiquette course.

Geordo smiles and assures her that she has nothing to worry about. He will deliver everything she wants in her room.

Geordo shows her some curious sweets he has brought for her. Looking at the sweets, all of Katarina's worries disappear. She excitedly asks Geordo if she can eat them. Geordo says "Of course" and adds that from now on, she will only be allowed to eat what he brings her. Katarina has a puzzled expression. Geordo finds her cute.

Geordo takes a strand of Katarina's hair and lightly kisses the tip. Despite his princely gesture, Katarina feels like Geordo's eyes are not smiling. She feels a bit uneasy but shakes off the feeling thanks to the sweets.

Katarina looks around the room and sees huge stacks of romance novels. She guesses that Geordo has decided to spoil her, probably so she could recover from the incident. She is so glad that she didn't get doomed after all.

Looking at her, Geordo is glad that Katarina hasn't realized that he is confining her. He is happy that no one will get in his way anymore and that Katarina is completely his at last.

Katarina happily asks Geordo if she can eat those other sweets. Geordo gladly says yes and tells her he will bring some again.

Katarina is so happy and feels bad for being scared of Geordo before. She feels like she should probably confirm that everyone is safe but postpone it until after she has enjoyed the sweets. In the corner of her mind, Keith tells her "Didn't I tell you not to be lured by sweets?"

But Corrigan was crushed by her encounter: Bush, then 79 years old, groped her buttocks at a November 2003 event in The Woodlands, Texas, office of the Central Intelligence Agency where Corrigan’s father gathered with fellow intelligence officers and family members to meet Bush, Corrigan said. Corrigan is the sixth woman since Oct. 24 to accuse Bush publicly of grabbing her buttocks without consent.

“My initial reaction was absolute horror. I was really, really confused,” Corrigan told TIME, speaking publicly for the first time about the encounter. “The first thing I did was look at my mom and, while he was still standing there, I didn’t say anything. What does a teenager say to the ex-president of the United States? Like, ‘Hey dude, you shouldn’t have touched me like that?’”

Corrigan said the incident happened while she was being photographed standing next to Bush. Five other women have made similar claims against Bush in recent weeks. Seven people, including family members and friends, confirmed to TIME that they had been told about alleged groping by Bush of Corrigan prior to the other recent allegations.

“George Bush simply does not have it in his heart to knowingly cause anyone harm or distress, and he again apologizes to anyone he may have offended during a photo op,” Bush spokesperson Jim McGrath said in a statement to TIME. Previously, McGrath said Bush “has patted women’s rears in what he intended to be a good-natured manner,” additionally attributing the act to his diminished height after being confined to a wheelchair since 2012. Bush was standing upright in 2003 when he met Corrigan.

Corrigan said that to this day, some of the responses she gets to her story are dismissive but she said she feels emboldened to speak out after seeing other women come forward, and hopes more will do so after hearing her account.

“I don’t know, maybe it never really hit people that I was a child at the time and that goes beyond a guy being inappropriate in the workplace to a peer or somebody in his age range,” she said. “I was a child.”

Corrigan, who had heard Bush give a speech at a conference held at the George Bush Presidential Library at Texas A&M University earlier in November 2003, asked her father, Steve A. Young, if she could leave early from her classes at The Woodlands High School and join him at the planned visit by Bush. After Bush addressed the CIA gathering, which included agency personnel and their family members, Corrigan had the opportunity to take a photograph with Bush, alongside her mother, Sari Young.

Ryan Trapani, a spokesperson for the CIA, declined multiple requests for comment regarding Young’s employment and Corrigan’s allegation against Bush.

“As soon as the picture was being snapped on the one-two-three he dropped his hands from my waist down to my buttocks and gave it a nice, ripe squeeze, which would account for the fact that in the photograph my mouth is hanging wide open,” Corrigan said. “I was like, ‘Oh my goodness, what just happened?'”

Her mother, Sari, said Corrigan told her about the encounter as soon as Bush stepped away.

“When he left, my daughter Rozi said, ‘He grabbed me on the rear end.’ And I said, ‘What, what?'” Sari said. “And she said, ‘Yes, he grabbed me when they were taking the picture. He grabbed me on my butt.’ And I was like, ‘Oh my god, are you kidding me?’

“I was really, really upset — she was very upset, she was really, really mad,” she added. Sari said she would have tried to take action “had it been just some Joe Blow or something. I’d probably chase him down and yell at him.”

“But, you know, it’s the president. What are you supposed to do?” she said in a Oct. 28 interview. “And you’ve got your husband’s job that could be in jeopardy. I mean, you just didn’t then. You should—you should have always spoken up, always—but we didn’t.”

Within the next few days, Corrigan told her childhood friend Chelsea Wellman about the alleged groping as well, Wellman told TIME on Oct. 27.

Christopher Yarbrough, who was married to Corrigan from 2010 until their divorce the following year, said on Oct. 27 he learned about the incident about a month after they started dating in 2005. One day, the two were going through scrapbooks at Sari’s house, he said, when they flipped to a page revealing the photo with Bush. He said that Corrigan then told him about the encounter with the former president.

Tristan Voskuhl, who went to Sam Houston State University with Corrigan, said Corrigan first told her about the incident in 2006 when they were 19 years old. Bob Unseld, a family friend, said Sari first told him of the incident in 2013. “She didn’t say it just once. She told me this several times that he had done this to Rozi. It made her very mad.” Paul Weins, Unseld’s husband, also said he heard Sari’s account of the incident in 2013.

Bush, who from January 1976 to January 1977 served as the CIA’s director of Central Intelligence—the former title of the agency’s highest-ranking position—is one of a number of prominent figures to be accused of sexual assault since news of alleged past assaults committed by Harvey Weinstein broke early last month.

Actress Heather Lind was the first to openly accuse Bush of groping her while they posed for a photo during a promotional tour for her AMC series Turn: Washington’s Spies in 2013.

“He didn’t shake my hand. He touched me from behind from his wheelchair with his wife Barbara Bush by his side,” Lind wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post on Oct. 24.

On Oct. 25, New York-based actress Jordana Grolnick told Deadspin Bush groped her in August 2016 at a Maine theater where she was performing. She said that Bush came backstage with Barbara during the intermission of the play, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and gathered with the cast for a photo.

On Oct. 26, best-selling author Christina Baker Kline wrote in Slate that Bush groped her during an April 2014 photo op at a Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy fundraiser in Houston.

Amanda Staples, a former Maine Senate candidate said in a private Instagram post on Oct. 26 that Bush groped her in 2006, the Portland Press Heraldreported.

Liz Allen, a retired Erie Times-Newsjournalist, said in an Oct. 26 Facebookpost that Bush touched her from behind at a local business association event while taking a photograph with the former president in Erie, Pa. in 2004.

Bush’s spokesperson, McGrath, declined a separate request from TIME to comment on Staples and Allen’s allegations, which they said occurred when the former president was standing up.

Corrigan said that Bush’s response to Lind and Grolnick’s allegations, which cited his use of a wheelchair, bothers her because the “excuse for his senile, old man antics… is not true.”

She said that recently, she was listening to an episode of a podcast hosted by Ben Shapiro called “Is Everything Sexual Assault Now?” Allegations against Bush were discussed on the show.

“When I heard that was the reason, like, ‘Oh, he’s just an old man and he doesn’t know any better and he’s just being harmless and playful and it’s just where his arm falls… I just burst into uncontrollable sobbing,” Corrigan said. “I just couldn’t sit with that. I can’t. I cannot sit with that. I can’t sleep anymore, because that’s not true, and it’s not an excuse.”

On Nov. 1, former first lady Laura Bush, wife of George W. Bush, told CNN that the alleged incidents against her father-in-law were “very innocent.”

“I’m just sad that we’ve come to this,” Laura Bush told the network. “That was something that was very, very innocent that he’s been accused of. But I know he would feel terrible.”

Corrigan said she doesn’t see it that way.

“It completely floored me. I was actually there to be taken seriously, and I wasn’t,” she said. “I thought, he’s a career politician, almost 80 years old or something like that, if anybody’s going to take me a little bit seriously or at least try to pretend he’s interested in what I have to say, it would be this guy. And he didn’t. All he did was grab my butt.”

Former President George H.W. Bush has been hit with ANOTHER troubling groping allegation.

On Monday, for an interview with TIME, a woman opened up about an unsavory encounter she had with the former president back when she was only 16. Oof.

According to Roslyn Corrigan, she was only a teen when she was groped on the buttocks by a 79-year-old Bush in November 2003. Apparently, Corrigan had the opportunity to meet 41 when she accompanied her father to an event at the Central Intelligence Agency office in The Woodlands, TX.

The event was attended by several intelligence agents and their loved ones. On the incident in question, Roslyn recalled:

Allegedly, George Sr. groped the youth while they posed next to each other for a picture. This claim is eerily similar to the five other allegations that have dropped recently. Tsk, tsk.

In fact, you can apparently see Roslyn's horror in the photo, as she noted:

Ugh. To make matters worse, Corrigan has gotten many dismissive responses to her story over the years. She added:

So sad. As for Bush Sr., he has since responded to the scandal via spokesperson Jim McGrath:

"George Bush simply does not have it in his heart to knowingly cause anyone harm or distress, and he again apologizes to anyone he may have offended during a photo op."

McGrath has previously downplayed the groping scandals by blaming the hand placement on George's confinement to a wheelchair. However, for the '03 photo-op, the celebrated Republican was upright.

Corrigan's mother Sari corroborated Roslyn's story as she told the publication:

"When he left, my daughter Rozi said, ‘He grabbed me on the rear end.' And I said, ‘What, what?' And she said, ‘Yes, he grabbed me when they were taking the picture. He grabbed me on my butt.' And I was like, ‘Oh my god, are you kidding me? ... I was really, really upset — she was very upset, she was really, really mad."

Since Bush was once one of the most powerful people in the world, the family felt powerless against the political great. Several others close to Roslyn have supported her claims against the former Commander-In-Chief.

Unsurprisingly, the groping left an impact on Roslyn as she concluded:

"It completely floored me. I was actually there to be taken seriously, and I wasn't. I thought, he's a career politician, almost 80 years old or something like that, if anybody's going to take me a little bit seriously or at least try to pretend he's interested in what I have to say, it would be this guy. Bush's other accusers include actress Heather Lind, up-and-comer Jordana Grolnick, author Christina Baker Kline, journalist Liz Allen, and former Maine Senate candidate Amanda Staples.
