Q. How many pairs of platform boots do you think you have?
A. About 25 pairs. I have them in rose pink and gray blue and mauve. I have three or four or five pairs I wear every night.

Fic idea:
Former 90's rock star legend, Eddie Harrington, starts a podcast in the late 2010's with a weird choice of people (normal, not famous people, yikes!), but who apparently are close friends.
This podcast evolves quickly into a sprawling D&D campaign that gathers a cult-like following for a few years until one day it just explodes in popularity and becomes more mainstream. Eventually they move to streaming the campaigns live from their own homes/offices (simultaneously recording them for the podcast), and most people in the party have their own little fan clubs based on their characters and individual lore, compete with merch.
Eddie's always the DM, he enjoys it, and thrives on the chaos his team seems to try and generate to annoy him. The Party themselves (Dustin, Will, Lucas, Erica, Gareth, Mike and Jeff) have relatively normal jobs, so go absolutely feral during the podcasts, like they're reclaiming the insanity of their teen years.
It's just great fun, hardly anything like the dark, brutal campaigns Eddie used to run during Hellfire, and it's a great stress relief for them all. It eventually gets to the point where most people recognise or know Eddie from his D&D stuff, forgetting that he was 'originally' famous for half a dozen kickass rock albums.
(Sometimes Steve makes an accidental appearance by wandering into shot, or bringing Eddie coffee or snacks, and he ends up with his own wholesome little fan club because he's so normal in comparison to his hubby).

a daily reminder that tumblr isn’t any different than other social media platforms, it’s just rebranded with white fandom quirkiness.

To be honest I heard the "i know everything about you. Your faults. Your weaknesses" of the Emp, as.... like, the only moment I went against Empy was when I was player 2 and my husband hated the Emp, but I HAD my mind mindblown before and. I thought it was specifically to taunt my own character about her love for the big squid. Which made things double horrible, especially when he summoned the dream guardians of the whole team. So I prefer your version wayyyyyy more, a lot funnier! (plus the Big Bitch Brain could have chosen a less tired illithid. Poor empy that was just to torture him and us T_T)
Ha! I get it, first time hearing Emps being a butt was like, 'Oh you~ that hurt, but I know your not yourself right now, so if we get out of this alive, we can sort out how you really feel later'
and then looking at Greyg's new squid self, I had to laugh like-'I hate to break it to you, but uh. I got a few new surprises on my character sheet since last we met that miiiiiiight argue against what you just said there, buddy ol pal you.
I bet the Netherbrain had that bad guy monologue pre-prepared and couldn't help but look rather silly when illithid Tav showed up.
