nukeri ! i have a normal amount of thoughts about him

plus a handful of design notes below the cut

the tail is inspired by night furies from HTTYD honestly. good shapes plus more fun to draw than an actual bird tail. and probably a bit more functional considering a person's legs would definitely get in the way of more traditional bird tails

his tail is also prehensile but i feel like thats a little more obvious

nukes talons are meant to function as extra hands? if that makes sense? it helps with staying in trees and such.

his wings aren't fully white because of. a lot of reasons actually. hes like a knock off dove of peace to me basically. angels also have fully white wings in most depictions and i wanted to sort of. ""corrupt"" that? it was also to add more earth tones to him. get grounded birdboy

on the topic of grounding that birdboy, the gold on his wings is Probably whats stopping him from "fly"ing. the main inspiration for that was kintsugi and the myth of icarus. its sort of supposed to look like the wax wings melting/sun burning him. i have no idea what im saying though godbless
