Why does Robin Hobb refuse to accept bi people exist while writing the most bisexual main character to ever exist

#yes i love rote a lot its up there best fantasy series of all time etc etc BUT #robin hobb does seem to operate under the idea that you are either straight or gay #and its honestly very tiresome #like fitz behavior just doesnt make sense if hes not in love with the fool and im not joking it just doesnt make sense #he gets really fucking close to spelling it out in fools fate and then whay #yes i do like him and molly gettiing back together #but i dont like that it comes as the expense of the fool being part of his life #like fitz either devotes himself to one or the other but he cant have both #and i dont even want to get into the mess that is kennit lmaooooo #i hear its worse in the rainwild chronicles so im bracing up for that
