Hello, so I decided that I'll be archiving ajaxeology and moving to another blog for a fresh start.

I'm really happy at how this blog has grown from the beginning till now and it's the reason I've made so many happy memories too. Thank you to everyone who has supported my pieces and enjoyed them!!

But there are unwanted thoughts that come about with this blog too so I decided it's about time to leave it behind (even though I'd like to stay longer with it).

Anyone is free to ask for the url of my new blog! But please ask me off-anon so I can reply to you privately as I don't wish to put it out in the open. If you also happen to somehow come across another blog with a somewhat familiar writing style (if my writing is even recognisable) or formatting and think it's me, I'd be happy to welcome u to my new blog :>

I may also rework some of my old works there, but if you're unsure whether it's me or someone copying my work, you can drop me an ask here. I'll come back and check every now and then.

Hello everyone, thank you for getting me to 300 followers! I appreciate every single one of you for supporting my fics and I'm happy to know that you're looking forward to more fics that I'll be putting out.

To put things short, I'll be mainly be focusing on writing series and I will be posting my genshin series on my main @sougalaxy. I will also be writing for other fandoms there in the future if school does not knock me out when it starts. Also note that I'm new to writing series so don't expect the same kind of work from what I've written. Four Seasons is already there so if you'd like to give it a chance :">

For ajaxeology, I will continue to run this blog, except that there'll most likely only be headcanons, drabbles and short fics. In the meantime, updates will be slower than it already is because I would like to focus on my series.

Regarding the few existing requests that I have, I'd like to reach out to the following requesters (bc they're on anon). I'll leave the requests utc. If your request is not utc, I will be writing them for you but it is likely to take a while.

For the anon who requested this, I'm sorry but I can't seem to come up with something good for this so I won't be writing this. I'll take another request or find a prompt list for you to choose from if you'd like. Do let me know okay

Hi! So I've kind of been in a writing slump lately (I finished the first draft of four seasons but I still feel the need to look through it again before I post likely this weekend + I have not much motivation to write my remaining requests) and a little drawing slump too.

I figured for drawing maybe it was because I was doing too much technical stuff lately so I thought I wanted to try this.

So yes as it is, give me 6 characters to make fanart of! I'll take characters from genshin and jjk!! I considered adding gintama to the list but I don't know many characters yet and I might make a separate one by itself for gintama for the very few characters I already know.

Before The Year Ends

Hi! This is Sherry. A few of you might recognise me better from my main @shxnosuke and a few from the discord server Liyue Harbor.

I haven't been here for long, but it's been a wild ride with all of you. I've had so many unforgettable moments in Genshinblr and made so many friends. 200 followers isn't as many as a lot of Genshinblrs out there, but I wouldn't have gotten here without any of you. So thank you, whoever that's reading this.

To my mutuals that I didn't mention, I'm sorry that I haven't interacted much. As of late, my online social battery is slowly starting to become similar to my irl social battery (= very low). Plus, I haven't interacted much with you due to my own awkwardness. Either those or I'm still a little too intimidated to mention you. No matter what, I want you to know that I appreciate you being mutuals with me. Next year, I hope I'll be able to find something to chat about with you and get to know you much better.

To my readers, thank you for all your likes, reblogs and notes. It makes me so happy to know that you enjoy my work and I hope that you will continue to enjoy the things I write in the future.

I check up on your blog every now (well definitely not because I want to know how you’re doing). I recently came across an ask where you said, “go easy on yourself. coming from me it’s a bit hypocritical since i’m a perfectionist, but the way to get better at writing is to practice. so if your first fifty works are terrible, that doesn’t matter bc it’s all practice for the things you’ll write and be proud of later”. And well damn I saved it down bc I always feel shit about my writing and yk that really helped me.

You know that letter you posted before the New Years? I read it and I almost teared up. I’m so happy for you that you became someone that you wanted to be. Hi so I'll be taking a short hiatus for a few days (it'll probably be less than a week) because I'm quite overwhelmed rn due to irl commitments. I want to keep tumblr fun for myself but the irl stress is sort of spilling over so I thought I should get away before it worsens.

I'll still be working on what I need to while I'm not around. I've noted down all the details for the matchups in a separate document so I should be done with at least one when I'm back.

I don't think I'll be very active on discord either so I'm sorry if I take a while to respond there. If you're a mutual and you'd still like my discord, you can ask me for it.

Hi! Mimi’s @kazuqha discord server, Liyue Harbor, will be hosting an ebg game from 26 Dec to 1 Jan. This time, other than the sabotages, we have flairs in place to earn more points. You can check out the rules and flairs right here done by one of our mods Lili @lilikags here!

If you’d like to take part and aren't already in the server, please join the server using this link first. We will only allow users in the server to join.

You will find a google form for you to sign up in the announcements channel. Please sign up by 24th December so the mods can assign you a new bias.

Announcement - hiatus

100 follower event!

Hello, I'll be going on hiatus from tumblr starting from 25 September Saturday GMT+8 0:00 because I have really important exams coming up and I'd like to focus on it. I will not be on tumblr at all.

I'll only be back sometime when December rolls around.

In the meantime, my friend will be watching over this blog for me (you can find his intro post here). If you do send in asks, it may be answered if it's directed to him or if he can answer it (otherwise it will be left unanswered until I am back). He’ll sign off that it’s him or he’ll use the tag (riptide.jake).

I've also queued some fics that I enjoyed as well so yes :D

I'm a little hesitant because this blog has grown so fast and I'm already at 78 followers even though I started it less than one month ago (and who knows when I'm back I'll just lose everyone dhfkjadhfds). But I've been thinking about leaving for a hiatus for a while and I decided to do it because I'm getting a bit nervous about my exams.

I'll still be writing (because the ideas are just bouncing around in my head it's lowkey unbearable if I keep it all in there bc I could be doing physics and it goes "oH HOW ABOUT DILUC LOSINg hIS COOL and he slams his palm flat on the table" and "what does childe need to let go" for some writings I'm working on and sometimes I'm still itching to talk to someone about it) and when I'm back, I'll probably have at least something to post.

I'm kinda D: I won't be able to see all the stuff u guys will be posting and yell about it. BUT BUT if I'm in your taglist please keep me in it, I'll binge and spam rb/queue them when I'm back. I'll definitely be able to interact with all of you a lot more too.

hello I'll be semi-inactive because time is getting a little bit too tight for my art assignments and I'll be working on the 2 collab fics that I have as well.

I'm putting matchups and requests on hold (with the exception of one request because I'm doing that request for one of the collabs) unless I get inspiration. I've already assigned characters for most of the matchups and all I need is to do the headcanons now if you're wondering about it's progress.

Hiatus

I've been wanting to send this blog to the burning depths of hell for a while and I figured I should go on hiatus in case I actually do so. I wouldn't mind doing it except I have matchups and requests. I just find it rude if I were to just dip without finishing all of them.

It's sort of a crunch period for me now and I'm very emotionally drained. It's also very discouraging when my works that I love very much doesn't get as much as love as I wished it could.

I'll be back earliest around mid-March but it may extend longer. I may pop in sometimes to post match-ups. I may or may not respond to asks/notifs until I end my hiatus.

On the bright side, you can look forward to better writings when I'm back because I'll have more time to write when I'm not half-asleep. Plus, I'm starting to get back into reading in the pockets of free time that I have. By then, I'll probably be able to keep away thoughts about my writing not being loved again too.
