Hi, I just wanted to highlight how cute this artwork is... Especially how the artist drew all the Ricks, plus the inclusion of Shrimp Rick, one of my favorite Ricks XD

These previews from the first few pages of the book seem to be based on S4 only, but the listing says that the book includes art based on “fan-favorite scenes from seasons four, five, and six”, so I’m excited to see what other scenes they’ve chosen to recreate in this adorable style from illustrator Austin Baechle!

Well we are officially one week away from the premiere of season 7 and I’m excited for what’s in store! I get the feeling that the writers are going to pull out all the stops and I’m eager to hear the new actors in action. It’s one thing to hear them in out-of-context clips, but it’s another thing to hear them perform in a full episode and to finally know their identities.

Personally, I really want to see a reunification of these two characters:

I drew these awhile back, but wanted to repost them because I’m really proud with how these drawings turned out and they’re just too stinkin’ cute! Back in season 5, we got a little nugget of lore that Birdperson and Tammy had a daughter together and that she is being held captive by the Federation. My hope is that they devote an episode this season to rescuing her from prison (rather than having that happen off-screen and “poof” she’s just there). I want to know why she was being held captive? Maybe there will be some parallels between her and Eleven from Stranger Things, perhaps, and I want to see BP’s and Birdchild’s reactions at meeting each other for the first time. If that happens I will absolutely be:

The more I think about Rick's Crow Witch era, the more it makes me laugh because it's so ridiculous and excessive (in a good way.) There was no reason for any of this. He could've just gone on adventures with the crows like he did with Morty. No lore or outfit change.

There was no reason for the anime theme, either. That had literally nothing to do with anything.

Rick could've hung out with a couple of crows while they taught him whatever he was supposed to learn, but nope. He had to wear an elaborate goth witch outfit inspired by Vampire Hunter D, invent glowing metal bird wings, build a giant bird lair in the woods, fight anime-inspired villains and get a new title sequence with a Japanese theme song.

Crow Rick is one of the best things in the show. It's so out of nowhere, but it's just...perfect. He took his crow era seriously!

Dudebros have a "Joker arc," but Rick had a crow arc.

While i’m not the biggest fan of  ¨Amortycan Grickfitti¨, i have to say that this was a great moment for Rick: He was forced to face the fact that was more lame than Jerry, a person who he believes is pathetic in many ways, because Rick thinks he is superior-more ¨cool¨- than everyone else. This really hits Rick, because, yeah, pretending to be Jerry’s friend so the demons could make fun of him was a very low move. It’s a lot more lame than any awkwards jokes that Jerry tells. It isn’t just being ¨cringe¨, it is being an asshole as well. In a rare moment, Rick makes a sincere apology for his behaviour and even admits he should try accepting Jerry for who he is as a person. Sure, they don’t have to be best friends but at least try getting along with him. And this lesson appears to have sticked with Rick since he tries to be nicer to son-in-law in ¨Final DeSmithation¨ and helps him with his fortune cookie problem.

One could say that this plot is a bit cliche and simple, which it is. However, it’s something that goes well with Rick’s arc, which is accepting that he isn’t this universal god that he believes he is and to accept that deep down he is just a broken sad old man who often runs away from his problems and pretends that they don’t exist. So, yeah, a reality check that reminds him of who he is it is good for him.

I keep watching the season 5 finale and just get so happy for Evil Morty. It feels like watching an abuse victim escape their abuser- and literally breaking the cycle by getting the central finite code and destroying the wall for the rest of the multiverse to see. Like he deserves it. He deserves to be happy.
