I wonder during Retired Janitors of Idaho if piss-mad Logan wasn’t thinking that Shiv was Marcia and Kendall was Frank, but was instead recognizing them but using the wrong names? The way he spoke to Shiv --"not now, not now, I need time to work on my speech" -- sounds a lot more like how he might have spoken to Shiv when she was a child seeking his attention rather than how he'd speak to Marcia (who would always be too wise to interrupt him in his work). And as much as I love the potential fucked up Froganness of "I'm the only one who's allowed to be nasty to Frank", I can easily see him expressing the same sentiment about his number one boy.

Of course, there's still a lot of significance in which names he chooses to call them by. In his mind all the women he love hold pretty much the same place in his heart, and there are similar fucked up dynamics at play in both his relationship with Frank and with Kendall.

Anyway, just a theory. A piss-mad theory.
