i try not to let the fact that a sizeable amount of people think that liking mainstream animated movies as an adult is inherently juvenile get to me, but if someone asks me if there's any movies or shows i enjoy i'd rather pretend that i hate watching things instead lol

like honest to god animated family films just keep my attention better and resonate more with me. i like ridiculous over the top stuff that arent afraid to be genuine and sentimental and focus heavily on character interaction. probably why the good place is my favorite live action adult show. probably why I loved everything everywhere all at once. i dont like mean spirited things heehee

but if anyone has any media recommendations that fall more into the stuff i just described thats like, adult oriented, let me know
