I suspect the bike gift was originally agreed upon so Archie could get a freebie and both the bike shop and the Harkles could get some attention. This week, however, Megs realized that a PR distraction was needed given H's performance in court, so she ordered a minion to type up the letter on June 6th. Keep in mind, California is 8 hours behind the UK, so she would have been fully aware of what occurred in the court room in London and still would have had plenty of time to strategize and start executing some PR puffery during business hours in California on Tuesday, June 6th.According to the owner of the bike shop, the letter was hand delivered on June 7th (IG post was posted 3 days ago, therefore Wed, June 7th, and it refers to "this lovely thank you letter we received today!").Then the thank you note "news" was picked up by the media (NYPost, TMZ, People, Elle, Town & Country, Marie Claire, Mirror, Telegraph, Yahoo, and many more) on June 9th. How did the media find out about the thank you letter? Does the media normally follow the IG of Mad Dogs & Englishmen Bike Shop in Montecito, CA? If so, why didn't the media pick up the bike shop's IG post dated May 7th that announced the gift to Archie??
