WLW MOVIE NIGHTS

June 1 · June 8 · June 15 · June 29 Each Saturday ACup will screen two films that celebrate women, their lives, and their love. Popcorn provided!  

APRIL’S SHOWERS GAME DAYS

June 2 · June 9 · June 16 Wearing specialty rainbow tie-dyed jerseys for this month’s matches, come out and support the Showers for their remaining spring season matches, including the final game in Miami! Post-matches in NYC will include food and drinks provided by April back at ACup.

WOMEN’S WORLD CUP

Starts June 7 · US Group Matches June 11 · June 16 · June 20 Pride this year will extend to the colors of red, white, and blue and the US Women’s soccer team attempts to defend their 2015 World Cup win.

MIAMI WEEK

June 16-22 Here at ACup we like to celebrate milestone achievements so we couldn’t let the 100th week of activity go by without proper fanfare. Thanks to the generosity of April, Serena, and Sugar, the whole crew will fly to Miami to enjoy a week at the beach.

June 20 · 8PM Theme: Rainbow. All songs must have a color in the title or be from albums with colors in their titles.

RENT SING-A-LONG

June 26 · 8PM Dress up as your favorite character and come and sing all the parts your heart desires as you measure your life in love!

PRIDE RALLY

June 28 · 6-9PM · Stonewall 50 Join us in this commemoration of the Stonewall Uprising as NYC Pride takes the Rally back into the streets! LGBT+ rights and human rights are under attack by the current political environment. Join community activists, organizers, politicians, and more for this unprecedented moment in our history. Take a stand, show up in force, and make your voice heard in this re-imagined Rally experience.

PRIDEFEST

June 29 · 11AM-6PM PrideFest is NYC’s annual LGBTQIA+ street fair that combines exhibitors, entertainers and activities for a day of fun and celebration in the name of equality. Join April at the ACup PrideFest booth (or on the ACup Pride float). Iced coffee and pastries as well as A-Cup-Pella, April’s Showers, Pamela Lansbury, UAP, and Warblettes swag will be on hand.

PRIDE MARCH

June 29 · 12PM Float decorating kickoffs on Sunday, June 23 and will continue throughout the week. April will be thankful to any volunteers that can offer even 10 minutes to make the ACup float sparkle and shine!

As part of our 100th week celebration and leading into our 2-year anniversary milestone next month, we’ve decided to expand the membership for Pamela Lansbury and the Warblettes.

Pamela Lansbury will have one additional slot open for a musician (character must play an instrument; vocals a plus but not required).

The Warblettes will have two additional vocalist slots open.

We ask that if you currently play a character in one group that you do not pick up a slot within the same group with a second character.
