#nonpareils are best because they look good on everything and have a good crunch #vermicelli tastes good but looks bad on a lot of things #quins are either awful or amazing depending on the brand (usually though I find the circles taste bad but the shaped ones taste good #idk if there's a different recipe used for shapes or something) #mix sanding sugar into your icing instead of food colouring and you will get very yummy crunchy coloured icing
