i remember one time in my high school chemistry class, i got excited when i saw a bottle of toilet cleaner. my brother had just showed me how to make a little, let’s call it, explosion, using 3 items, one being the bottle i had just found in the back of the classroom.

now, you’re probably thinking i just went and made a bomb and everything was awful but no. i went to the teacher with 2 of the ingredients and asked her if she had the third. she did! so then i explained what would happen and she got excited too! she was like, let’s go outside right now!

we gathered the class and went outside and we made an explosion!

i was thinking about it right now because i wondered... that was probably like, really bad for her? to just let us do? i mean, it was technically science and definitely a chemical reaction, but it was hardly any kind of planned or vetted activity haha.
