omg hii, i hope this is okay?

any thoughts on obi wan reacting to you telling him you love him when he’s injured? maybe he got shot by a droid and rests in a medical bay and it’s only him and you and you tell him you love him 🥺

hi ! 🌸💌 yes ! absolutely !

I think obi wan would be pleasantly surprised to hear that you love him ! & at the same time, playfully tease you until eventually giving into telling him how you really feel.

I am imagining him laying down in the med bay with tired eyes looking up at you being there by his side. He would smile softly & gently reach for your hand. You give it a squeeze, wordlessly telling him that all will be well in no time.

You've been so worried & scared of losing him, thinking that life is so precious & special moments between loved ones & friends should never be wasted. Especially since you loved him for such a long time before he was harmed, but were most likely too afraid to say the words out loud to him.

"I'm here, dear one, all is not lost. I assure you, I am fine."

"oh, obi wan, I thought..."

"shh, none of that now."

Cupping his face, he leans into the palm of your hand, relaxing into the calming feel of your touch. Savoring every ounce of love & care that you've given him. It radiates from your heart, a light that he too, can no longer live without.

"I sense there is something you've been meaning to tell me...I imagine now is as good a time as any..."

And he just knows you so well that when he tries his hardest to smile throughout all the pain, he's left you speechless. Almost stuck in place. Unable to hide from him anymore. The force, doing all of the difficult work for you. A deep soul connection that can not be broken. Where there is light, there is peace. And right now, there is a soothing peace in both of your hearts.

The words are there, ready to be spilled effortlessly the way you've always hoped & dreamt about. But a small part of you is scared, afraid that he couldn't possibly feel the same.

But he does.

And now, more than ever, you can both sense it.

"I don't want to be scared anymore."

"Fear only leads to sadness. You wouldn't want that now would you?"

"No."

"Then?"

Slowly lifting your hand away from his cheek, the pad of his thumb brushes lightly over your fingertips, before bringing them into a kiss there.

"I believe that... love, is the one thing that could save us all."

Your eyes are lost in pure stillness. Nothing can tear you away from one another. Not now.

"My darling, ... I couldn't agree more."

And so, he kisses you, guiding you into leaning toward him carefully, making sure that you know he will never let you go.

Hey ^^ I wanted to check up on you, especially since you've had this nightmare last night. I hope you're alright, I've been suffering from sleep paralysis and false awakening for years. I'm so sorry you've had this nightmare, what helps me is to write the whole thing down on paper or on my phone and to stay grounded. You're always safe remember that. 🤍

I've been sick these past days and had a horrible day the other day which still sits in my bones, but I'm getting slowly better it threw me back writing my fic, but I'm slowly getting into it again. I'm considering to upload the first chapter of the fic, I'm at almost 9000 words so far (Ben and Reader barely kissed so it's a slowburn I guess hehe) and I just think I'll upload it chapter by chapter to get some opinions, feedback and/or inspiration.

I just had to get this off my chest because I'm so excited about this whole thing you knoww....

thank you so much for checking up on me, all is well now. 🙏 it was a terrible dream about something traumatic happening to someone I love & when I woke up I just felt so physically & emotionally in pain. It felt too real. & I'm so glad that it wasn't.

sleep paralysis & false awakening can feel so scary sometimes - I can relate ! writing down the dreams is definitely helpful - I have a dream journal & a gratitude journal on my phone that really does help me to stay grounded & calm. you are right about that ! 💌

I am so sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well 😔 ! I will be thinking of you here & sending so much love & support ! I truly believe that good things happen after all of the bad, just keep having faith & pushing through each day - do the best you can to protect your peace. You are so kind. Hello there 🫶 Life has been super busy for me and I’m very sorry for not being more often on here. I hope you’re alright though, I’m wishing you only the best, you deserve it! 🤍

I’m currently reading the Kenobi novel and uhm, it’s so good, like I’m obsessed and it got me thinking about him and Reader on Tatooine, I’m even writing a fic about this but I had to share this idea for my fic. 🥺 Maybe you have an apothecary in Mos Espa and Ben eventually walks in, your bd droid looks at him from the counter and Ben waits for you to come out of the storage. He comes to the apothecary for herbs which help him sleep and you help him find something.

A couple of weeks pass and he returns and you ask him how he’s been and how the behot has worked and you two begin to chat a bit more as you get more behot for him. You had always wondered where he was from since he had this very distinguishing accent and by the end of his visit you wish him farewell with the words “Farewell Ootmian*” and he smiles at that remembering the little Huttese he remembers.

*this means outlander btw

📖 kenobi novel - I've had this book on my kindle for the longest time & have been wanting to dive right into it ! I hear it's amazing. please let me know what you think of it ! 💫 there are so many star wars books (& non star wars books that I am wanting to read so badly - I just wish I had more free time 😭) maybe if I can devote an hour to reading a day, then that would be awesome. 🙏

now - I am smiling so much about your fic idea ! especially the huttese phrase for 'outlander' ! how perfect. & so fitting for obi wan's character. I love how he & reader character have established a relationship with one another through their meetings at the apothecary. It's kind, back & forth exchange between them that would set the scene for something beautiful to unfold between them - whether that be friendship, or eventually something more. first meetings can truly be something magical, & even more so when an interesting man like obi wan kenobi walks right through your door & into your life all at once. I can just picture his eyes alone capturing reader character in their shop, & something just clicking right away for them - maybe through a passing touch of hands, or even like you were saying, the caring phrase spoken - farewell ootmian.

I think all of this is just lovely & I am so excited to hear more about this story. I would be happy to read it (if or when you feel comfortable posting) or even just a snippet. :]

I didn’t know you had not watched too much of clone wars (no shame here) , but your blog makes me feel so safe to ask such questions.

Omg I was thinking about Outlander too when I saw this scene and I kind of would’ve loved to have seen something more graphic. I know this sounds horrible but the trauma and the scars would’ve made Obi Wan an even more interesting character. He was pretty much broken by the end of it and still didn’t give in to do something that isn’t the Jedi way.

I feel like the emotional scars Obi Wan got from this and many other moments shaped him. Obi Wan still is a sweet, compassionate and strong Jedi no doubts here but the war and all the loss would’ve definitely had an impact.

Now let me enjoy the whump eyy and thank you I appreciate this so much 💕

No matter what may be going on with me, I will do my best to always make sure this blog remains a safe place for everyone to come hang out & chill. 💙

I think because the clone wars is like you were saying before, family friendly & geared towards a younger audience, they have to make sure the show itself isn't graphic or have too much violence. (especially with how, for example, some video games & other animated content out there often tends to be, creators most likely want to cover all their bases with safety & responsibility. while at the same time maintaining creative freedom & overall depth of character.)

In the Kenobi series we get to see a bit more of those darker depictions & heavier kinds of scenes (especially when darth Vader puts him through literal fire 😬🔥) ultimate physical & emotional suffering on both sides. The pain they both feel is so profound in their connection through the force.

& the fact that he does remain this sweet, kind, & compassionate human being, despite all of it, is why I think he is viewed as a true hero in this universe. someone to either fall for completely, or relate to.

his light still shines from within - scars be damned. 💞💫 xo

I know this may be a bit weird but I have a question about Obi Wan and I feel like you could answer that question. We know Obi Wan got lashed by the Zygerrians right? And I mean Star Wars is family friendly so they couldn’t show the bestiality of the scene. So my question is do you think he ever got scars from that?

this question doesn't make me uncomfortable at all. I'm actually not too familiar with this story ? I haven't watched a lot of the clone wars era star wars things so please forgive me !

but from what I've just looked up about it, I feel like it definitely would have been possible for obi wan to have scars from this time. especially during his & anakin's fight against their royal guards in that arena. maybe the marks at one point had left some kind of lasting impression on his skin, that couldn't have fully healed over time. (which, totally unrelated, is now making me think of some of the more graphic scenes from outlander where the main character, jamie, has scars on his back from being wrongfully lashed in public).

in the case of the star wars universe, maybe our beloved general kenobi sought out treatment from nurse droids, or even some kind of extensive bacta tank therapy ? I'm not entirely sure. the healing process could have soothed the worst of his pain or injuries, but the scars would have most likely still been somewhat visible - even though they were never shown. not to mention, the invisible ones as well from possibly suppressing any war time trauma in his mind.

i would imagine that having been a jedi and a general, carrying this kind of physical & emotional pain, couldn't have been easy for him at all. it is something that probably would require a lot of inner peace, strength, & focus, to try to overcome.
