After watching Renfield I really like the idea of it existing in the same universe as wwdits, not so much for the vampires but because I think a meeting between Renfield and Guillermo would be both hilarious and kinda heartbreaking.
Like imagine Renfield coming out of his decades long abusive relationship with Dracula, and as far as he knows that's how vampires always are with their familiars. And then he encounters Guillermo who by all accounts hasn't been treated excidingly *good* by the Staten Island vampires but somehow has found a way to get some power balance with them.
Also imagine exactly what kinds of conversations the two of them would have like. Renfield whose whole character is that he feels guilty about the people he's killed and like he's become a monster himself vs Guillermo who actively seeks to become a vampire and doesn't particularly feel bad about all the people that have died because of him. Imagine. Because all I can think about is Renfield letting all his guilt pour out, while Guillermo has to awkwardly pretend he actually cares about all the people he has fed to the vampires over the years.
