who tf is gonna get a 10 billion dollar hawk killing permit when hawks are actively attacking your chickens??? wtf are people just gonna let that happen and go “sorry mildred the chicken but ohio law says i can’t help you 😔 should’ve told me to get a permit before you looked so tasty to the hawk”

#had that hawk been a foot and a half closer to me i would’ve ripped his head off right there but it all happened so fast and my brain was #already so fried but now i’m ready. i put a bunch of really reflective pinwheels on the fence posts and coop and we plan on buying a solar #powered garden owl that moves it head back and forth to put outside (hawks hate owls and reflective shiny stuff) they’re only like $20 on #amazon but i’m not sure where to put it without scaring my chickens
