Tag 47: Von Melides nach Odeceixe

Die Nacht auf dem Campingplatz war ruhig. Erstens weil Hunde nicht zugelassen sind und sich zweitens keine vielbefahrene Straße in der Nähe befindet.

Um kurz nach sechs Uhr stehen wir auf und waschen eine Maschine Wäsche, da es keinen Trockner gibt und wir sie noch trocknen lassen wollen. Das klappt zum Glück ganz gut, denn die Sonne wärmt schon kurz nach dem Aufgang (und brezelt später).

Heute wählen wir bei der Navigation nicht die Fahrradroute sondern die Rennradroute, um unbefestigte Radwege zu vermeiden. D.h. wir sind viel auf mehr oder weniger befahrenen Straßen unterwegs, aber dafür mit einem Schnitt von fast 20 km/h (auch dank des Rückenwindes).

Kurz vor Sines hat Manuela wieder einen Platten am Vorderrad mit der nagelneuen Bereifung! Wir wollen es nicht wahrhaben und pumpen nur auf. Das hilft aber nicht und so flicken wir den neuen Schlauch kurz darauf. An Sines und dem großen Hafen fahren wir vorbei, um kurz darauf in einem Strandrestaurant entgegen unser Angewohnheit Mittag zu essen.

Weiter geht es über das schnuckelige Porto Covo Richtung Süden, vorbei an schönen Badebuchten.

Seit Sines hat sich die Landschaft verändert. Es gibt jetzt kaum noch Wald, dafür aber viel Weidewirtschaft. Es wird auch zunehmend hügeliger.

Auf dem 4-Sterne-Campingplatz sind wir erst um 18:30 Uhr. Dennoch springen wir kurz nach Sonnenuntergang, wie gewohnt und natürlich verboten, synchron vom Beckenrand in den Pool. Da er unbeheizt ist, brauchen wir ein paar Bahnen, bis wir uns an die Temperatur gewöhnt haben.

Zum Abendessen gibt es heute Chips, Erdnüsse, Oliven und eine Flasche Weißwein.

Beim Fahrradfahren sieht man viele Dinge, die man beim Autofahren nicht bzw. nicht so gut sieht, z.B. den ganzen Müll am Straßenrand. Wir haben den Eindruck, dass er in Portugal noch mehr ist als in Spanien und dort mehr als in Frankreich. Wie man Matratzen oder Kühlschränke einfach am Wegesrand abstellen kann ist uns schlichtweg ein Rätsel. Aber auch die vielen Plastikflaschen und Bierdosen zeigen, dass sie wohl einfach aus dem Autofenster geworfen werden.
