I wonder why is it so difficult for football teams to hold their controversial players accountable. Like they think they're protecting the club's image but little do they know it makes them look even worse when they do the most to defend them.

#so a team here was accused of sa a girl a handful of years ago #she was 18 at the time and claimed she decided to speak now bc the spotlight was on said team rn #she claims 8 players did the thing and filmed the entire situation. she gave names. her lawyer has the video and all #(apparently) #well said club released a statement saying they hired a team of lawyers who studied the situation #and concluded that the girl is lying and that such event never happened #so the lawyer of the girl decided to go to court in order to use the video as evidence #plus my country's judicial system said the conclusion from that team's lawyers doesn't mean its a definitive truth #and that girlie is allowed to request a trial #but what AMAZES me is how the team went through such lengths to defend what cannot be defended i mean #there! is! a video! #video isn't public so i can't assure its legit but like idk man #if there's a video of my client's employee doing stupid shit then own it??? #own it as in accept that they fucked it up real bad and send them to jail wtf #the club isn't looking any better by saying 8 players are being unfairly judge #in fact its looking like you're justifying the bs of 8 abusers and that's fucked up #ugh.... men is2g #rambless
