Here is another set of historic working images from Texas, New Mexico, Utah and New York. I did my first plein air paintings at 12 yrs old. It wasn’t until much later, as an adult, that I started plein air painting again on a dare from Robert Ardovino in El Paso. The first pic on Scenic Dr. is the result of that dare! My dog Punkin appears in one of these pics, though he was around doing dog things in many of them. Desert Road- Summer skies- 9x12” - oil. Our group painted at Three Peaks (although I count many more ) a few weeks ago. This area is out more in the desert part of where I live.
