I wish I had more reach to say this gently because people on here are very harsh to anyone who’s not versed in a given matter & I’ve seen posts that tear people apart who do this but I don’t think it’s usually malicious so I want to say this nicely: Please do not use the alt text feature for memes or jokes. That’s not what it’s for & it makes the site less accessible to people with visual impairments. Maybe you didn’t mean any harm but just think about the fact that some people are using screen readers & your joke is actively making enjoying this site harder for those users to enjoy. Alt text is only for image descriptions.
