born in san jose, california, roman lived with his parents and little sister clarissa until the age of eight, when his mom left them in pursuit of an old flame from high school that she apparently never got over. their dad tried to raise them for maybe… a few months… before realizing he had close to no parenting ability. he and clarissa were sent to live with their rich aunt in wisconsin, and they’ve been there ever since.
listen… their aunt turned out to be a Helicopter Mom to them and it was… super suffocating, especially to roman. she expected so much out of them and tried to force her own dreams onto them but he was just Not Feeling It. he’d always hit her with the “ur not even my real mom” line. despite being a rather intelligent dude with a relatively quick wit, he put the bare minimum into school (especially around the halfway point in high school) … but still lowkey wanted to do well. he was the guy who always found a way to get test answers inconspicuously and found ways to work around the turnitin system, ya feel? tl;dr: smart and capable, but incredibly unmotivated
when he was fifteen, he found out (while eavesdropping on one of his aunt’s phone calls) that his dad had gotten remarried and had twins with his new wife, a girl and a boy. furious over the fact that this was kept a secret from him for two years, he went to rant about it to his sister, who told him that they should just keep pretending like they don’t know. roman suddenly couldn’t hear, and during dinner that night, he brought it up and it was an angsty time.
after this revelation, he began Acting Out more because he hated the idea that their dad just sent them away almost like it was nothing but ended up raising an entirely new family of his own afterward. it started to feel like it was him and his sister against the world, and even to this day he would do anything for her. he got into fights a lot in high school because he gets defensive and doesn’t know when to Stop. his temper is… so short…
he took a photography class his junior year high school and just… really enjoyed it?? it was practically the only class he actually wanted to Try in. his teacher noticed this, and they ended up being pretty close. when roman wasn’t out messing around, he spent a lot of time hanging in the classroom and talking about life and photography. probably the One adult he respected, but his teacher ended up moving to new york shortly after he graduated high school. it felt like he was being abandoned once again (yikes!!!) even tho he knew it had nothing to do with him.
but yeah, for the past few years, roman has just been studying film (his aunt thinks he’s there for engineering but he did a switchy switch… haha keep it a secret!), doing freelance photography on the side, and fuckin’ shit up ! his sister is currently going to school in california, and her decision to attend berkeley lowkey rubbed him the wrong way since it’s relatively close to where their dad lives and he doesn’t want thim to reach out to clarissa or anything because he’s supposed to be dead to them.

people think roman comes off as intimidating, but they’re not entirely wrong. he takes a while to warm up to people, and even then, he doesn’t have a lot of actual friends.
he doesn’t express it often, but he would literally do anything for his sister and close friends. can be incredibly protective. no kidding, his sister has complained that people didn’t want to date her because they were afraid of him KJDHGDSG
you know that friend who is able to find a persons facebook page and essentially everything about them with very, very minimal information given? yeah, that’s roman. he :// lowkey keeps up with his dad through facebook bc all of his wife’s posts are public :// he looks at posts of their family and just Suffers… it’s so bad!!!
he is the type of person that won’t share his own food but eats other people’s.

pushing people around in shopping carts at 2am/being pushed is one of his favorite pastimes

he was a people pleaser from such a young age.. so why wouldn’t he enjoy that? helping people out, helping them get better? it was like a dream come true really. the whole death thing wasn’t necessarily a thing on his mind,, which was something 16 year old justice rlly had to come to terms with after numerous breakdowns asjdfhdsj
despite him trailing off and wanting to do something other than law, his family fully supported him and if he’s not in a classroom or in a library, he can definitely be found at choi & choi, his family’s business !!! if you’ve got 7 people who are lawyers, you may as well do something with it aksjdfhdsj
because he knows it’s his final year, he’s almost positive that he’s going to go on to train to go into emergency medicine~
he’s honestly the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet?? will never have a bad word to say about anybody and can always be seen with a huge smile on his face just to make other people happy

seraphina comes from a very rich family. like, loaded. it’s a small family though, only consisting of herself, her older brother, and her father. her mother died shortly after giving birth. her dad is the ceo of a huge real estate company and as such has never been super present in her life.
that said, she was born in the states. her mother was also born and raised in the states, and her mother also attended west bridge, which is why seraphina felt compelled to come here from boston, ma. ( it’s definitely not because she was following the love of her life don’t be silly! )
majoring in computer science, minoring in dance! despite how she may come across as a spoiled little rich girl, seraphina is very intelligent, and in such a way that it gets her in trouble. seraphina is a hacker, caleb rivers style, but more sophisticated, thank you.
she’s better than you. she’s a prescription drug dealer, has committed multiple crimes & had her record wiped clear because her father didn’t want to ruin the family name, but she’s better than you despite that and will not hesitate to say it to your face. if she likes you she’ll be subtle about it.

so let’s just right into it. celina's that girl from school that you’d hear about before you meet. she’s wildt. absolutely nuts. she luvs to do bad shit, and that’s her brand. a total party girl with an attitude, and she’s never a missed a party while at west bridge.
the funny thing tho is that she’s from a family that wants to keep a particular image, one that’s especially family friendly. she’s the heiress to a toy manufacturing company, but she absolutely has no intentions of taking on the business. she’d rather just spend their money and head on out. however, her parents had other plans for her. they were tired of her behavior, so they gave her an ultimatum — “get a degree and show us that you can get your shit together, or you can kiss your trust fund goodbye.” she’d scoff at this and say it was unfair, but her parents meant business. so, she packed her backs and ended up at west bridge.
at first, she’d think that west bridge was too small and too boring, but it didn’t take her long to find her first college party. the cycle was continuous — spend the whole night out, go to class the next day hungover, do the bare minimum to stay afloat, and then repeat. she wasn’t planning on letting her parents ruin her 20′s, so she’d keep up a lie that she was doing well and spending most of her time in her room while actually getting cross faded with some randos in the library bathrooms.
she’s majoring in mass communications with a specialization in advertising. she’s not really interested in it, but she’s doing it nonetheless. she figures it’s too late to switch to something else, and she’s just ready to get the fuck out of school.
when it comes to manon, she viewed her mostly as a rival. people loved manon, worked to be her friend, and she had so many people at her side. whenever celina saw manon, she saw someone who she wanted to be. the rich girl who ran the school. the center of attention, so when she had turned up dead, she wasn’t sure how she felt about it. in her head, sure, it was bad, but manon out of the way, celina could take her place... omg celina is fucked up ...
one thing is for sure, her parents COULD NOT find out about what happened at the party, and they especially couldn’t find out that she was there or involved. she doesn’t care what it takes. she’ll do anything to keep them from finding out.
the type of person she is
ok so if anyone remembers jade from the last time pinkyswear was open, celina is basically the complete opposite of that. she’s got a nasty attitude and a taste for chasing fun, whatever she deems that to be. she’s not one to hold her tongue. it can get her into trouble. about as much trouble as her impulsive actions get her in.
she wants people around her. she wants people to like her. there’s nothing more she wants than for people to be see her as the center of the room. she wants all eyes on her. does that make her self-centered? was it caused by her being the last born in a family of 6 and struggling to stand out in positive ways? she doesn’t care.
when it comes to friends, she’s probably bad at it, especially b/c ppl kept her around for her money in high school. she’s not really upset about that, and in fact, she kinda sees it as normal. if she fucks up, she’ll buy you a new fendi purse or an expensive watch. that’s what people want, right? and if it keeps people coming back, she’ll do what it takes.
celina’s actually pretty smart, but she’s got an unwillingness to actually apply herself to her academics. she’s def the type of person to know some off the wall fact but if you ask her anything from the lecture she’d just heard, she wouldn’t be able to tell you. mostly b/c she’s too busy on her phone trying to find out where she’s gonna be that night.
she’s a highkey pleasure seeker. whatever it is that will occupy her time and thoughts and distract her from the bad, she’s completely down.

as a child, an was abused by his mother whenever he talked, that left a deep mark on him which made him pretty introverted but he opened up to another kid who quickly acted once he found out and his mother was arrested.
from then on, an was deeply attached to his childhood friend, life without him being literally.. the unknown. they made two other friends but an and him were still stuck to each other like glue; they eventually started dating in high school.
knowing an liked music, the three childhood friends formed a band (an wasn’t in it).
they all stayed close even after they went to university but everything came crashing down after an and his boyfriend got into a fight; it was a petty and stupid fight but it ruined everything.
the day after, an went to his boyfriend’s house only to find him dead on his bed. his boyfriend had drank more than usual and being weak to alcohol, it was fatal.
from then on, an was a shadow of his former self.
he distanced himself from everyone he knew (including the other two childhood friends) and just tried to live on
that’s when he met his current boyfriend; joining his band and spending time with him and his bandmates made his days brighter, he became more lively; even more so when he started dating his current boyfriend
the death of manon was a big blow to him; he wasn’t that close to her but seeing another death was too much for him. with the text he was sent, he’s close to just going to the police, the only thing stopping him is his boyfriend.
now with the bad sad stuff out of the way-------
an is akira’s step sibling, an was surprised to see his dad remarry but it didn’t really bother him as he felt like he didn’t have a mother to begin with..so the remarriage wasn’t a “betrayal” . the new people around him makes him a bit uncomfortable but nothing bad enough for him to talk about it.
personality wise, he’s pretty introverted, doesn’t talk about his feelings much but is there for others. he’s honest and loving.

* ↪ jeon jungkook. he/him. cismale. ╱ i thought i saw kian ko getting questioned by the police. the nineteen year old is in their second year at west bridge studying film production. there’s a rumor that everyone there always called them the cataclysmic because they were beguiling but at the same time morose. do you think they had something to do with her death? + chipped nail polish, morning light peeking through the curtains, soft curls parted down the middle, blinking neon signs, fresh tattoos, shattered iphone screens, missed calls at two in the morning, and long drives down isolated roads.
growing up it was just kian and his dad living in a big, isolated house at the end of a road where no one knew each other. he never knew what happened to his mom, but he also never asked. him and his dad didn’t have the kind of relationship for that; him and his dad were never close enough to have personal conversations.
the two of them only spoke like ten words to each other by the time the boy was ten and had been completely raised by a nanny. but then everything changed when she just didn’t show up one day and his dad decided to play the role of a parent for once.
he was shit at it and constantly yelled at kian, even pushing him around and smashing his toys just cause he felt like it. he didn’t understand what he had ever done wrong and a part of him thought that this was just how every parent treated their child.
when he was twelve, he ended up finding an old camcorder and instantly fell in love with filming everything around him. it all looked so beautiful through a lens, untainted. but he was young and kids can be dumb. he ended up recording over one of the tapes inside and when his dad found out, he completely lost it.
apparently kian had taped over an old home video of his mom, one that his dad watched frequently, and it became the catalyst for events that would change his life forever. it was the first time his dad was ever physically abusive towards him.
he doesn’t really have much memory of the event, but he does remember being at the top of the stairs filming before everything went black. he found out later that his dad had pushed him down the stairs, but it was ruled an accident and he was put back into his care after he healed.
things only got worse from there with his dad constantly telling him that he was a monster, that no one would ever love him, and that no one would care if he died. these things clawed their way down his throat and found a home in his lungs until he felt like he could no longer breathe.
when he got older and a little colder, he started fighting back and it ended up just being a big brawl between him and his dad all the time. they would literally beat the shit out of each other multiple times a week until, suddenly, it all stopped when he was sixteen.
his dad remarried and the woman brought in two younger children. then, suddenly, his dad was someone else entirely. it was like the bitter old man had been replaced by the most wholesome being in the world. he acted like a completely different person and it pissed kian off. but it also inspired him in a way.
he changed his personality too, became the picture perfect son who played sports and got good grades. he held up his image well, but the monster his father always told him he was never went away. it just waited under his facade until the perfect time to strike.
it was after his first real girlfriend that he decided he liked hurting people. he liked breaking their hearts because it made him feel like a god. he was the perfect boyfriend, dating girls and boys and anyone that was dumb enough to fall for his tricks. he would make sure that he was all they thought about, that they were sure they were in love with him, and then he would rip the rug right out from under them.
nothing made him happier than watching them cry and beg him not to do this. they looked so ugly and broken and he couldn��t think of anything more beautiful. he liked seeing people at their most vulnerable, got off on it.
it was around that same time that he also got into drugs, cocaine specifically, and it helped to perk him up; it helped to make him not look so dead inside. he was a great actor, but the eyes are the window to the soul and his held nothing inside.
when he left for college, he constructed a backstory where he was the son of a pastor who graduated as valedictorian and blushed when complimented. none of that was true, but it didn’t matter. everyone would believe him and would never question it.
he stuck to his story, but things changed when he met annya at freshman orientation. things were different with her and he knew he was fucked, but he let it happen anyway. she brought out a side to him that he thought was long gone and he almost started to believe he could be loved.
but then his dad showed up one day letting him know that he was divorcing kian’s step-mother and it was obvious that he had turned back into the man that would push his son around and make him feel worthless.
so kian regressed as well. he became ugly and cruel towards the one person that made him feel alive and, because of that, she left. it was a hard blow but it brought him back to reality. he couldn’t afford love so he knew it was better off that way, no matter if it hurt.
so he was back to his original plan. he started dating anyone and everyone, cheating on them, breaking their hearts in the worst possible way, all while holding up his perfect little church boy persona.
k so i wanted to add more to this but i’m just so over it i’m too tired to think atm lmao! but a few other things are that he’s a part of a frat and he does play sports. he probs mostly plays more physical sports to get out his aggression like football, lacrosse, hockey, etc so rivals/teammates come thru! i’m sure y’all can tell that i’m a sucker for angst so hit me with that good shit ya? i don’t have a page for specific wanted connections so if you wanna brainstorm or whateva then just GIVE THIS POST A LIKE and i’ll come to you or add me on discord and we can plot there!

as a child, seojun never felt connected to his parents. for a long time, he thought that was because he was adopted, but as he got older he realized that it was more. it was the fact that they’d throw money at him instead of affection, or only half listen as he proudly told them how he was doing in school, etc.
over the years, he’s become a lot more reserved. it’s difficult to let others in because it felt like even his own parents didn’t care to know him, so he kept to himself. instead of telling anyone about how he was feeling, he turned to poetry instead. he’s got a lot of books filled of scribbled down poetry, and he always has a blank book with him.
he’s fine with using his parents’ money for things like college, but in general he doesn’t like to use their money. he has a little photography side gig going, which he spends a lot of time promoting on social media. he usually gets hired for things like senior portraits, and sometimes weddings, because he’s a lot cheaper than most.
he tries not to, but a lot of the time he’ll put his school work second to whatever else he has going on - whether it’s a random moment of inspiration or a photography job. that’s how he ends up spending so many late nights on essays he should’ve finished days ago. he’s not the best with time management.
although he’s generally pretty lowkey, and somewhat keeps to himself, he does get a little reckless sometimes (as most college students do from time to time) and party. he’s almost always got weed, and when he drinks he tends to overdo it due to a lack of knowing his limits. he’s got a nasty habit of chainsmoking too - but that comes with the territory of being a poetry writer and photographer for the moody aesthetic.
he really doesn’t remember much of what happened the night manon died. at least not before she died. once the body was discovered, he sobered up a bit and was just as afraid for his future as everyone else, which is why he agreed to keep the secret.
he does feel bad for/about manon though. with both her and seojun’s families having money, they’ve known each other since they were younger, so there’s definitely a lingering guilt. they weren’t exactly friends or anything, but they’d had some bonding moments at events they were both dragged to by their parents, etc.
that’s all i’ve got for now!! i want alllll the typical connections: bffs, exes, fwb, etc., etc. so i’ll probably be coming to bother everyone at some point. :)))

loves video games tbh like he spends hours on video games and not like the Modern ones he deadass plays game cube games on an OG wii. i wish i could say it made him edgy but hes just a sucker for nostalgia
at 15 he came out as bisexual and his parents were a bit stunned but very accepting
hes a double major for his first 3 years of college he LIVED in the library !! u could barely get him to go ANYWHERE

but his mother had a late diagnosis of cancer & she passed away two weeks after the diagnosis
his father, distraught and heartbroken, quit his job and uprooted his life to southern california

since his mother’s death, he’s done a complete 180. his drinking has increased, he parties any time he can, and he’ll use any drug that crosses his path
his destructive behavior has him close to flunking out his senior year
anyone who knows him is aware cas has become a completely different person
he’s overemotional, he can barely take himself out of bed in the mornings, and he’s cold and distant.
