Not being serious lol but, due to the description of the inspiration signal treasure from hey pikmin and one of the voyage logs from pikmin1 where olimar worries that the stress is causing what remains of his hair to fall out we can assume that he's self conscious about his lack of hair. Thusly even though he doesn't seem to have his full wits about him do you think that on some level olimin is chuffed about his bushy head of "hair" he now has?
(omg i forgot to respond to this one hello) WKJSDJKSHDH you are So right actually
just imagining him (presumably) finally being rescued and de-leafed at the end of pikmin 4 & he's ofc so thankful to be able to return to his family but in the back of his mind hes like ... my hair ... :(
(not really related to this ask but this comparison of pikmin 4 events to olimar's pikmin 1 logs makes me thing of the two logs i read recently, where iirc he wonders what it looks like inside an onion and then considers that it wouldn't be that bad to be a pikmin (bc he wouldn't have to go back to work jkskjhfsh) so like. yeah)
The final trial from pikmin1 has been remixes twice now (plasm wraith chase and the final dandori battle against dandorimar) and both of those instances involve saving olimar so now I'm wondering if the final trial is kind of olimars theme .
hmm maybe?? it might be more olimin (or as you called him dandorimar)’s theme

In this explanatory review, we’re covering Pikmin 2 by developer, Nintendo…
PIKMIN TRADING CARDS! LOOOK AT THEM! I GOT SO MANY BIG BOSSES!
waterwraith is my fav, and since this was released with pik2 to have both final bosses is great! shame there’s no snagret or beady long legs, then I’d have all the reoccurring bosses, but still!!!!!!!!!
Ive been replaying Pikmin a ton, heres my stats for my latest playthrough i’d like if anyone else sees this to post theres. Pikmin1 is a fantastic, concise game that shaped my taste for replayability and I highly recommend it. I was playing on the Wii version but I heard it’s better on the gamecube for if you dont gel with pointer controls
