Mini Game - Performing

Do you want to build your REPUTATION as a PERFORMER?

ONCE per activity check, you may have a performance in any of the locations in the Pelago Islands. The experience you gain depends on the location you rent and type of performance you make.

Rules:

You may only play this once a check.

You can play it at any location on either island.

Only Songstress/Bards/Dancers may gain EXP from this game.

You must decide on a location and type of performance, and then roll to see whether you get booked or not.

If you are rejected, you may choose another place to book you. But if you do this thrice and continue to be rejected, you are locked out of playing this game for the remainder of the activity period.

If you’re accepted, you may roll your performance lines to determine the result of your show.

LOCATIONS & PERFORMANCES

First and foremost, you must choose what type of performance you want to have! The different types are listed below. Once you determine the results of your performance (refer to the Commands section), you may see how much money you’ve earned!

And EXP, if you are a Songstress/Bard/Dancer.

Street Performance - No rental needed, perform wherever you prefer. There’s no guarantee you’ll have an audience, however. That’s what you get for being a cheapskate!

POOR - 50EXP : 3pts (Gain 250G)

GOOD - 100EXP : 4pts - 5pts (Gain 500G)

AMAZING - 150EXP : 5pts - 8pts (Gain 1,000G)

STELLAR - 200EXP : 9pts+ (Gain 2,000G)

Small Following - You must pay 2,000G to rent in any of the restaurants or businesses in the Pelago Islands. You’re at least guaranteed an audience, but be careful of your REPUTATION!

POOR - 150EXP : 4pts below (Gain 1,000G)

GOOD - 200EXP : 5pts - 7pts (Gain 3,000G)

AMAZING - 250EXP : 7pts - 10pts (Gain 5,000G)

STELLAR - 300EXP : 11pts + (Gain 7,000G)

Road to Fame - You must pay 5,000G to rent Adonea Theater (Arcadia) to schedule a performance, or be featured at Leuda Broadcasting Station (Leuda). For other islands, it must be have a wide space.

POOR - 250EXP : 6pts below (Gain 2,000G)

GOOD - 300EXP : 7pts - 9pts (Gain 7,000G)

AMAZING - 350EXP : 9pts - 12pts (Gain 10,000G)

STELLAR - 400EXP : 13pts + (Gain 12,000G)

Go Big or Go Home - You must pay 15,000G to rent Adonea Theater (Arcadia) to schedule a major performance, or at DSC Park (Leuda) to schedule a concert. For other islands, the venue must resemble the examples capacity.

Note that this is EXCLUSIVE for group or event RPs. Alternatively, as long as you guarantee at least FIVE attendees (you may museception but limit it to one) who will react to your performance. It’s a career changing performance, after all.

POOR - 350EXP : 8pts below (Gain 8,000G)

GOOD - 400EXP : 9pts - 11pts (Gain 20,000G)

AMAZING - 450EXP : 12pts - 14pts (Gain 25,000G)

STELLAR - 500EXP : 15pts + (Gain 30,000G)

GROUP PERFORMANCES

You may perform in groups by each rolling independently (thrice for every person) and getting the average points to determine the outcome of the performance.

BOOKING

Before starting a performance, you must see whether or not your chosen location will choose to book you. To determine this, roll one of these lines once.

Songstress/Bards/Dancers may use their level OR reputation to determine which command line to use, while anyone else not belonging to that class may only use their reputation to determine it (resort to the No Rep line, if you don’t keep track of your rep).

Anyone starting out will always begin with NO REPUTATION. If you don’t care about keeping track of your reputation/performances, and your muse does not belong to a performing class (Songstress/Bard/Dancer), the No Rep command line is what you will always use.
